Really enjoyed their shoestring french fries too. They make their beef six days a week, use a Turano roll and their own house made giardiniera, which is on the mild side, but very flavorful. Great beef flavor and the perfect chew. They offer a deal on their combo on Fridays. Friendly staff and owner. The last time I was here was about 7-8 years ago when I lived nearby. I used to always order either the Italian beef or their meatball sandwich and I loved getting one or the other at least once a week. We were staying local with some family for Labor Day weekend and I was really craving an Italian beef since we don't have them where we live now, and some cheese curds and I wanted to try out an old favorite of mine and introduce my fiancé to it! I of course got an Italian beef (dipped- iykyk) with sweet peppers and an order of fried cheese curds, my fiancé got the Chicago dog and some fries. I will say it was as good as I remembered, maybe even better since it's been so long. The beef was beefy, juicy (the dip probably helped), and the peppers added that perfect amount of sweet. The cheese curds were crispy, cheesy, and perfect with either a side of marina or ranch. Of course my fiancé loved her Chicago dog as well, flavorful and full of toppings. Used to be a regular at Bella Luke's, but moved a little far away today. I stopped by to get my usual and had to walk back after I pulled out of the driveway through because they forgot my french fries the heavy set owner that I've always never been treated like a customer with asked me what I forgot so I told him the fries. He did not say sorry. The person in the drive-through started talking to me so I answered his question and this heavy set man in the drive-through/owner screams at me and his Worker. I cannot listen to two fing... people at the same time I was not even talking to him. Which I told him and I told him don't effing swear at me he proceeded to argue with me. I told him I would never be back. He did not care at all if I was his brother and sister I would get him out of the drive-through window he has never treated me kindly once since I've ever been through that drive-through the other brother and sister are nice people this guy needs to not deal with people he's angry at life. Food is good, but the guy is a jerk.. if I was his worker, I would report him to HR for swearing at him for no reason. This guy needs to learn how to deal with customers. read more

It's been awhile since I've been in the area. Had to stop out. Layout is the same. The place remains under the same owner as far back as I can remember. Staff is very friendly. The food is delivered quickly, the portions are above average in size, and they even do stuff like serve full pickle spears instead of cheap thin slices. We went here on Friday night. I ordered a double cheeseburger a large cheese fry and a pizza puff. They burger literally tasted like it was cooked yesterday and the beef patties were reheated in the microwave. There was no grilling going on from the "grill" area. The cheese fry were drenched in a nasty cheese sauce that was pretty much inedible. And lastly, they totally shorted me on the pizza puff, instead giving me something called a chili boat??? This place is always consistent. We know if we go there for a bite to eat it will always be good, we are never concerned about getting a bad meal. My husband always gets a jumbo char dog. I prefer just a plain char dog. We both love their fries which are the skinny crispy fries. I love the way thru serve them which is wrapped up with the hot dog. They take your order and from a different window they call the numbers. There are plenty of seats in the restaurant but they do get crowded often. Very disappointed. Got there a half hour before close and ordered dinner for our family of five spending over $50. They seemed irritated we were there from the start. My son accidentally overfilled his sprite and tried to clean it up. Unfortunately my daughter felt ill and went to the bathroom but the girl was cleaning it so needless to say she did not make it into the bathroom. She was afraid to tell us but as we were leaving the owner, I believe as he's always there, and the girl were walking to towards the bathroom. I apologized for my son's spill and was blatantly ignored. Not knowing she had gotten sick on the floor we left and it was 5 minutes before closing. As we were in our car getting ready to leave he walked towards the windows yelling at us and pounding on his chest. So very inappropriate. Stop here frequently on my drive home from lake geneva. They have a cute little drive thru. This time I tried the Philly steak sandwich. Was not impressed. Was not a philly steak at all. It was their beef sandwhich with mushrooms and sweet peppers with mozzarella cheese. I mean their beef is pretty good, but only if that is what you order. When you get your hopes up for a philly....it doesn't live up to its standard. Always love adding a little ranch to my philly's but this ranch was way watered down, has potential though.
