We were seated right away and the staff was super friendly and on top of everything from the start. Drinks came out quick and our server checked in just the right amount without ever being overbearing. I ordered the chicken sandwich with house chips and it was excellent. The chicken was juicy with a nice crispy outside and the bun was fresh and held everything together perfectly. The house chips were warm, crispy, and seasoned really well, a great side instead of the usual fries. My wife went with the buffalo chicken wrap and she loved it. She said the buffalo sauce had a great flavor with the perfect level of heat and the wrap was packed with chicken and fresh ingredients. The whole place had a fun, relaxed sports bar vibe with plenty of TVs and a good lunch crowd. Everything came out fast, fresh, and exactly how we wanted it. It is one of those spots where you know what you are getting every time and it is consistently good. Definitely one of our go to lunch spots in Largo. Easy 5 stars every time.

I've had their Rueben, their Philly (of which I wrote previously), as well as their slaw. We (Queen Bee mainly) also crossed, much to my own chagrin, their Rueben rolls off our collective list. Fried pickles: same. Philly, as I stated elsewhere, was an abomination. Roll was awful, flavor was a bit bland and the whole thing just didn't come together. A Philly should be overflowing with chopped, well mixed ribeye, cheese and grilled veggies. I don't like peppers on my Philly, I tolerate shrooms and love grilled onions. This thing missed the mark on all categories. I sent it back. Rueben: small mountain of corned beef was way too salty and took away from the overall flavor and quality of the sandwich. Swiss of mediocre quality too. Like the Philly: sent it back. Blech! Rueben Rolls: sane as the Rueben itself: just wrapped in an egg roll wrapper and fried to death. This interpretation is a lil more flavorful as the ratio of ingredients is better balanced. Again: salty corned beef took away from what otherwise wouldn't be a bad app. Fried pickles: also way too salty. A pickle slice in and of itself is briny enough so added sodium is hardly needed or necessary. Someone back there seems kinda heavy handed with the salt shaker. That's why when I ask for fries there I tell 'em no salt. They use Cajun seasoning on their fries, I was told. Thanks by no thanks. Slaw, meanwhile: too dry. Cabbage and carrot seemed fresh enough, but the amount of dressing in it was minimal. As a result, it can be a lil hard to swallow. Add more dressing and they can solve it easily. I added a lil of the Queen Bee's ranch to it and that helped some. While I won't totally go for broke and bash this lil place, I have come to the conclusion that I won't waste my time trying any more of their sandwiches, which makes up for a large part of their menu. Each of 'em thus far has been underwhelming, so why should I try another? When I go out I wanna be overwhelmed in a positive way: both food as well as experience. We still go because we like the barkeeps and I like the cold beer, happy hour prices and the zillion TV's. We've always been treated very nicely there (we always sit at the bar: either indoor or outdoor depending on the day). All I'd say to keep it totally fair: I would limit myself to simple burgers and only a few of their apps. Why? I'm afraid to say I think they emphasize quantity over quality with much of their menu. We've been there enough times to know what we like and call it a day. If I could offer any positive thoughts to readers here, it would be to explore what intrigues you and go from there. One's own subjectivity often differs from that of the next fella.

I'm genuinely surprised to see such ratings for Indi's Chicken. I went in expecting a simple,…read moreno-frills spot serving good old-fashioned fried chicken and classic sides. That sounded great to me. Unfortunately, the food, portions, and pricing were all disappointing. A three-piece chicken meal with two sides runs around $13-$14, and the pieces are small. Two of my three pieces were very small drumsticks. The meal doesn't include a drink, and if you just want water, you have to buy a bottle. The sides also come in very small portions. I ordered the 3 piece spicy chicken with baked beans and potato wedges. The seasoning on the chicken had a decent flavor, but it wasn't spicy at all. The bigger issue was that the chicken was extremely dry. The larger piece of fried chicken was especially bad, there was barely any meat in it. Most of it was over-fried, hardened breading surrounding a lot of empty space. I kept biting into thick, crunchy breading and air while trying to find actual chicken. The baked beans were fine but nothing notable. I did like the potato wedges, which were probably the best part of the meal. You get three as a side, but they are at least fairly large. There are also several extra costs that add up. Sauces are sold separately, the meal doesn't include a drink, and there's an additional 3% charge if you don't pay with cash. All in all, I really don't understand the high ratings. You can get better fried chicken at plenty of fast-food restaurants, or even from Walmart or Publix, for less money, with larger portions and more options. Even if you're specifically looking for a no-frills local chicken spot, this doesn't feel like a good value. You pay more, get less, and, based on my visit, the quality isn't there. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

We had a very short wait, maybe 15 minutes before getting seated, our server was very quick to take our order, the only problem was a table about three away from us that had a five-year-old yelling and screaming pretty much at the top of her lungs constantly, the parents not trying to take care of the problem by walking her outside for a little bit, just let her do her thing With this in mind, and what would seem to be an hour to get our food (it wasn't) we tucked into the sandwich and the rings... Was the cheesesteak the best, no, was it great, no, it was just ok, nothing to right home about... it definitely did not look like the cheesesteak that big Jim was biting into on Facebook. How were the onion rings, they came out hot, large, and very crispy, were they, tasty, yes, were they greasy, very.... I never leave onion rings at a restaurant not to take them home, I left these, I couldn't honestly see with them being so grease laden that they would be any better reheated. So far IMHO, the touch stone for cheesesteaks belongs to a certain bar located in Dunedin...
