Good food! Amazing wings! Very clean wingstop! Very quick service! amazing staff! Definitley the best wings!

I've had some bad experiences in the past with the food that was served. But recently they've been putting out a good product again

I ordered pickup from this location. When I got there food wasnt ready so we sat down to wait. While sitting there, we watched one of the workers, tall white male with glasses prepare our fries, then reach his bare hand into our fry basket and eat them while looking at us. He set the basket down next to the person putting our order together, they didnt see this happen and put the same basket into our bag. We love Wingstop, but this was really strange behavior and this person didnt look like he keeps up with his personal hygiene and put his bare hand into our food while making eye contact with us. We, of course, reported but felt the need to ask not to say anything to this worker until we left because he was already yelling at the workers in the back and it seemed like he would make a scene. This is making us contemplate returning until this is addressed. read more

I'm only giving a 1 star because only 10 wings were warm. The corn nuggets were cold like right out of the fridge. The fries were room temperature and the other 10 wings were cold. This was our first time there and will be our last time there. I can't believe a restaurant would put that crap out there. read more

OK this is another example of me trying a new place that I've never been to. I was in the mood for chicken and I didn't want the same old types. So I decided to give this place a try. First of all I had my food delivered because I could not see myself driving all the way on the other end of town to get this food. My food was delivered a little slower than previous orders that I placed two door Dash. I don't know why that was like that. The restaurant Wasn't located any further than any other place I've ordered from so I couldn't understand why it took 40 minutes to have my stuff delivered. I didn't really let that deter me. I went ahead and placed an order for a 3 thigh meal which included seasoned fries and a drink. I also ordered a yeast roll. When my food arrived I was immediately notified by the note on the bag that they were out of rolls and that they gave me a complementary brownie instead. I don't really know if I can say it was complementary because I was already previously charged for the entire meal so I believe it was a replacement more than complementary. First of all the food looked appealing and I think that was the mistake I made. Because as I tasted the chicken which was garlic Parmesan flavored, it was basically Parmesan cheese dumped on top of the skin of the chicken. There was no garlic Parmesan flavor infused into the meat of the chicken. The chicken appeared to be a little overcooked and the skin was kind of hard, And I don't quite know if I ate a full grown chicken or a baby chick because my pieces was extremely small. I have to admit the fries were the best thing. They were seasoned well and they were hot and fresh. The brownie was a little dense but it was chocolatey. Believe it or not, the drink that I ordered which was a Dr Pepper taste it like someone's homemade attempt at making a Dr Pepper. It tasted horrible. I had to dump it out. I have no ill feelings towards this place because it was my first time and I had never heard of the place so I don't know how long they've been in business. It is a learning lesson for me. Whenever you venture into a new restaurant you take a risk every time you do. You have to go into it knowing that you might not get what you expected and I gambled and I crapped out. read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews. It's not fun, especially at a location that used to get good reviews. My wife and I came into town for the KU Kentucky game and decided to stop by Wing Stop on our way home... I had raved about the fries and was craving some good ole wings and tasty fries. This Wing Stop is not the same it was just a few years ago. I don't know if the fry oil was bad or what but EVERYTHING we ordered was bad. We couldn't finish the fries or the loaded fries we had decided to step out and try. They both had a funky, almost burned, taste to them. Not the sweet and tasty fries of yesteryear. The wings were... rough. I got Cajun and hickory sweet bbq (probably the wrong actual name) they had a similar "off" taste. I finished them strictly due to some weird masculine rule men are programmed with regarding wings. The Cajun had little to no flavor and we're just hot and the honey bbq (again, probably wrong name) were lack luster. I'm disappointed in Wing Stop. I've always had good experiences here, which is partly why I didn't give it one star, and am sad to see such a pour showing from a historically good wing place! Step it up! FYI, the service was good. Great wings, decent sides, Great sauces. Pretty much everything you need in a quick/cheap wing place. As a college student I can appreciate easy online interface and frequent deals. Very nice staff as well. The only issue with it is that the inside is somewhat dirty, and the fries have always been pretty soggy when I've got them. Honestly though, I'm not there for the dining experience and I'm not there for the fries, so 4 stars feels fair. read more

I am a student at KU and I love this wing stop. My wing stop back home is absolutely atrocious and is doing something wrong for sure. This place has it figured out. You are always greeted with warm welcome ins. Sometimes they are understaffed which is not the employees fault and even with complaining millennials they are still super helpful and well mannered. Not to mention the food is always gas here. They continue to never get my order wrong and make it how I specified on the app. This wing stop should be put in the fast food hall of fame for how good it is. They always get me right. read more

I normally love this wingstop but recently they have been out of boneless wings. Just completely out. I went to pick up an order and they didn't tell me that they couldn't complete my order until I got there. They have started to process a refund, and they said if I don't receive a refund in 5 business days I will have to come back to the store and ask them about it because their phones don't work. I love wingstop and i'm only upset because I drove myself all the way to the location only to discover they can't make my order. I wish I had gotten a notification on the app or a phone call to save me the trip to the store. read more

Wingstop is a pretty good place to get wings. Probably worthwhile for carry-out. We decided to hit Wingstop for dinner, but since we weren't certain if it was just a carry-out place, we called first to confirm that there are seats in the restaurant. There are. It's pretty much like any other fast-food place with tables, a soda machine, and an order counter. We were there on a Friday night, and it was fairly busy, with about half of the tables filled. Mrs. R. went with breaded tenders, which had a lot of breading and were covered in a Parmesan garlic. I ordered 10 wings -- five mango habanero and five Louisiana rub. We also split a regular basket of fries. Mrs. R's tenders were rather good and juicy. I liked the breading and the sauce. The wings were rather good, the mango habanero had good spice. The Louisiana rub was earthy, a bit like mushrooms, and Mrs. R said that it as probably a file powder rub. The regular fries were a generous boat of fresh-cut fries seasoned with salt, pepper, and maybe... sugar? They had a sweet element that I couldn't quite put my finger on. Mrs. R. also got a "dipper" of bleu cheese with her tenders, but I thought it tasted like foodservice buttermilk ranch dressing that has some bleu cheese crumbles mixed in. All told, wings and tenders for two was about $13 (we had a coupon for free fries), but Mondays and Tuesdays feature $0.60 boneless wings. It's worth noting that the price for boneless wings is the same as for bone-in wings, and you can get all drums or all flats for a small upcharge. They have a fairly robust website for putting in take-out orders. This review is a first for me -- I specifically went to Wingstop to write a review. Unfortunately, we won't be going back to this wingstop. My daughter was there for the 3rd time last week. This time with her boyfriend and it was early in the day. The issue is with the daytime manager. When the lady asked what they wanted, her boyfriend was trying to say they weren't ready yet when the lady started talking over him and said, "I'm going to go back to doing what I was doing, and you rolled your eyes at me." My daughter said 1st of all I did not roll my eyes at you. My daughter said she instantly got really nervous. She said she looked up at the menu after her boyfriend started talking. Then the lady said, "1st of all you can leave!" and proceeded to follow them out of the store cussing. My daughter did end up saying "this B is weird." My daughter was pretty shaken up and embarrassed. So, she is trying to get herself together before driving off and that lady came up to her car and started getting loud and telling her she needed to leave. This is in a strip mall type parking lot as well. So twice now I have tried to get the name and number of the owner from there, once in person and once on the phone. The time I tried on the phone we had a discussion about it, and she was rude to me of course. She literally called me back and made it a point to tell me right away that she knew the name of my business. I said so, what's your point. I could tell she was nervous. I still want to talk to the owner, and I want the cameras reviewed and her to be held accountable. Also, before she went to my daughter's car she went to her car and my daughter said she bent down like she was getting something out from under her seat. She thought it could be a gun. That tells how messed up this was. If she didn't do anything wrong then why doesn't she want me to talk to the owner. I asked her that in person and she just kept telling me I needed to leave. So I have a rather high standard for wings because I grew up with a great wing place in Chicago so, for me, everything is compared to that. We saw the commercial for 60 cent boneless wings on Tuesdays so we decided to try this place out for the first time. I got the Cajun and hot buffalo wings and a side of fries. After putting in the order they said your order will be ready at 6:30pm. I arrived right before 6:30pm and the wings and fries had already gone cold. I would have come earlier but I was just following what I was told when placing my order. Got the wings back home and mine were rather dry. The Cajun just seemed hot and did not have much flavor and the hot buffalo were not hot and I couldn't taste much because they were dry. There was not even any sauce at the bottom of my bowl. I tried some of my wife's Parmesan and they were rather decent tasting. Her mild buffalo just tasted like butter though. It's obvious they don't season their sauces much or use the correct mixture. I would describe the whole experience as pretty meh. They were not awful but they didn't blow me away either. For a place that specializes in wings you would think they separate themselves in some respect but they did not. I can get those same wings anywhere else, maybe even better. I will continue my conquest for a worthy wing place in Lawrence. For now, I guess homemade is the route. read more

Wow, so disappointed. First of all, I had to wait nearly 20 minutes for a to go order as the workers were in no hurry to make any food. I get home and the food is soggy and cold. I also was under the impression that the garlic Parmesan was going to be a sauce, and it was a rub, so that was very disappointing. Some of the best wings in town. Their chicken is great. I have never had a bad wing here. Their sauces are awesome. Great selection and great flavors. When I saw that a new chain wing restaurant had opened at the 23rd and Louisiana strip mall, I knew that i wanted to give it a try. March madness basketball is quickly approaching and any place that only sells wings and chicken tenders is a good place to get to know during basketball season. My companion and I decided to have dinner at Wingstop around 7pm on a Friday night. this pace was hopping--almost all of the 10 or so tables were full of people dining-in and a few more were waiting on carryout. There are a few TVs, but the atmosphere is decidedly fast food-feeling. I ordered chicken tenders and my companion two types of traditional wings. They have around 10 sauces, ranging from mild to very spicy. I chose the Garlic Parmesan, my companion the Louisiana Rub and the Mango Habanero. Our food took around 15 minutes, since they make them to order. We shared a regular size french fry (plenty of hand-cut fries for 2) with their fry spice (i think it is just salt and sugar); they were hot and delicious when we first dug in, but as they cooled, I was wishing I would have tried one of the other 3 fry seasonings. The star of the show---the chicken. I ordered 4 tenders--they were large and very hot when they arrived. I am not sure if it was the garlic parm flavoring or just Wingstop's breading, but I felt they were a little soggy. My companion's wings, on the other hand, were not breaded, but coated in some pretty-delicious smelling sauces. His feedback was they there was some good heat to the mango habanero and the Louisiana was very earthy. Overall, it was an ok experience, and I will hit them up again--especially since they have $.60 boneless wings on Mondays and Tuesdays and they have some large party packs that would make feeding a crowd very easy. read more

If you love wings, this is the place to go! It is clear this place is well managed. It was clean, the staff was very friendly, and they made sure our order was correct before we left. The food was ready quickly, the wings were hot and well coated with sauce, without being soggy. Very good flavor options for the whole family. We tried the Cajun, Hickory BBQ, and the boneless Hawaiian for the kids. Seasoned Fries and Cajun corn as sides were both very tasty! This site opened on January 4, 2016 and the staff and the GM were very personable and engaging. The greeting was the key for me to know that they are focused on delivering great service and a great product. That means this site should flourish. The food was fantastic. I just ordered a 6 boneless wing "hickory smoked BBQ" combo with fries and drink. I also purchased two rolls . The only subtle differences from other recent wingstops I have been too are 1.) Alcohol is not available yet. That will be solved soon for those that like beer with their wings. And 2.) This site has a regular 6 flavor Coke product machine as opposed to the Coke freestyle machine. I will visit again and again as I travel through. read more
