When the cook found out we were going to dine-in, he even brought us extra supplies to help us eat. Service ended up being five stars. Now for the food. We ordered a meal for two that included 15 wings, two sauces, and a large order of fries. We had Cajun and Atomic for dips, and were hoping Atomic will blast fire up our a$$es. What I ordered: 15 classic wings, extra crispy, garlic parmesan flavor. They were a great meal! I've had better, but these were just as good as any... They prevail over other wing places in the area. Mid-tier. Decent pricing. Nice and hot on arrival. A bit too much grease... The ranch dip on the side is not like other places, where it's like a paste.. This stuff is like paint thinner... So thin that it drips off quickly, after you dip... Some people like that.. I think it's okay... The skins are nice and crispy if you get them well-done. Used to come here weekly, love the wings. But after today I'll never go back to this location. Called on the phone to place my order and the lady was rude. Halfway through ordering I asked if it was too late to change the 10 count wing to 15 and she said she will not change anything unless I order online. I said no problem I'll just do the 10 wings. After giving my order the lady said to call back when I'm close and they will start the food. I told her I'm on the way and will be there in 10 minutes. She then states they won't even start the food making process until I'm there. I understand people call in orders and don't end up coming, however that's part of business. I decided to order 10 cajan wings for dinner so I called ahead. The employee told me about 16 minutes for pickup. When I got there I suspected that the food was not ready and was going to cancel. Full of flavor and body, it really hit the spot!! Let's talk about the fries. Whether you want the regular or the seasoned you can't go wrong either way! They both have their own features that give your taste buds a little party! If I had to chose I'd probably alternate on each visit. Depending on your level of spice tolerance, the seasoned fries may have you reaching for your drink more than once. I will tell you they were a tad bit greasy but the flavor keeps drawing you back in. The inside is very clean. I didn't say it but that's what i was thinking. I asked what kind of dry rub they have...'ahhh, we don't have any dry rub'...really? No but we do have cajun sauce and then we add dry rub. 'Well, Christian, doesn't that kinda defeat the 'dry' wing concept...his response 'huh?'. I ended up ordering 8 of the plain wings...you can request all drums with an .80 cent up charge...OK, I can buy that. When I got there, Christian and I talked further about the Wingstop 'concept...'we're really about our sauces' he said. OK, sell sauces and throw in some chicken wings for good measure...I get it. I went to this Wingstop during my lunch break. I am pretty sure I was the first customer of the day. At the very least, there were no other customers in the entire store. It took about 10 minutes for somebody to be bothered with taking my order. He then changed my name to something that was so wacky I had no idea it was mine. I waited 45 minutes for them to call out some other name that was nothing like mine and then an additional 15 minutes for them to respond to my inquiry that the wacky name was actually me and I should have answered them. Then they tried to give me cold food. I rejected the cold food and left. I paid $16 for a cup of soda. I complained to corporate and they sent me an electronic gift card for $5 that is only good if I place the order online which would mean that my food would most likely be cold by the time I got to eat it. I don't know what moron thinks this is okay. If I wanted cold food I would have gone to a deli and gotten served a whole lot faster. I won't be going back. read more

This was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had with an order ever. I placed my order online and went in to pick it up. I don't think anyone is expecting perfection or even short waits for a wing place on Super Bowl Sunday - I surely was not, I am a reasonable person. But the level of absolutely rudeness I experienced was appalling. I picked up my order which consisted of two bags and drove home. Upon arriving at home I realized I was missing half of the wings from my order and a side. So I called back to see if there was perhaps another bag that wasn't given to me. The girl who answered the phone didn't even look, she simply said "let me get a manager" and put me on hold. When she came back, she said "so unfortunately we are so busy we aren't taking any more orders so if you'd like you can come in tomorrow for the remaining items in your order and we can make it then." Wait. WHAT. I was not placing an order. My order was placed. I waited like every other customer for my order. Wingstop did not give me my actual order. Wouldn't the right thing be to check and see if it was there and if not, offer to quickly make it so I could pick it up? So I asked this, and she said "well it would be a really long time, like well over an hour so tomorrow would be better." I am 7.5 months pregnant and everyone in my house had their order except me. Tomorrow!? TOMORROW!? What kind of solution is that? So I asked for a refund and ...... She hung up. Literally hung up the phone. I wasn't even rude! So I called back. I tried to call five times for my refund. I was sent to the VOICEMAIL. I will admit, I don't think I've ever called anyone five times but I was absolutely beside myself. No food, no refund!? So I got right back in my car and drove to the store. I asked which person I needed to speak with to determine how I would get a refund. When I got to the desk, another customer was at the cashier and they were telling her that it would be another two hours for her order. She asked the lady how that could be possible when she placed the order an hour and a half prior. They said "we just have a lot of orders." Absolutely unacceptable. Someone should have turned off OpenTable or online ordering or whatever they were using until they could serve paying customers who had been waiting! I asked for a manager and, as if this couldn't get any worse, she refused to come out of the kitchen. I have literally never been more disappointed in any level of service I've ever had before this. For what it is worth, my fiancé helps run a very successful chain of restaurants in DC and if his staff ever treated customers like this he would shut down for mandatory training immediately. Zero stars if yelp allowed me - staff refused to change a mistake on an order and lied to basically keep from doing extra work. It cant be done at all because it's in the system - that's bs because businesses can give refunds and start new orders and 2. that it was more expensive anyway - bs because it's clearly listed on the menu, a sandwich is 8.99 and the boneless wings were 13.99 - they lied straight to my face even though it was there in big bold letters on the menu. It sucks that the closest Wingstop to where I live sucks Sooo Bad. I have given this location 3 separate times to get it right and I gotta say this is the worst location by far. Just go to Sudley they are much better and actually care about service. Hell even Woodbridge is way better than this location. Seems like the people working at this establishment do not have a manager to keep them performing to company standards. First time the wings were so short I was practically one nibble before cleaning the bone. Second time they ran out of Blue Cheese dressing and instead of letting me know and refunding me for the purchase of sauce, they used store bought off the shelf cheap blue cheese which has no similarity to the blue cheese that Wing Stop serves. Third time I walk in the bell rings. Staff is hanging out in the back on their phones like the last couple times I've been to this location. I had to ring the door again to be acknowledged and I greeted the cashier instead of the other way around. I asked for a special which includes 3 sauces and for some reason every time I go here they always short me on sauce I pay for I don't get it, but I got shorted again this time as well. I would say the people who work here don't deserve to work in food service because they do not care about the customer and they don't care about cutting corners. This is from 2022 - current. Nothing has changed. Do not go here. There is a Wing Stop on Sudley that is 2-3 miles away from this location with better service, food, and will leave you with the Wing Stop experience. It's been awhile since I've been to this location (a year?) - but now that I was a close resident I came back right before my New Years "diet" begins. There were a couple other people in the place that were not only being ignored, but were frustrated and obviously upset. There was a guy in there who wasn't in uniform talking to the other workers who were being the counter. He seemed to be the "manager" that over recent reviews spoke of. For about 15 minutes he began talking about non-work related stories. Something about Los Angeles, and "once upon a time".... something something. I wasn't trying to eavesdrop but when you actually have him talking in a loud voice in the kitchen, you could hear stuff from the bench by the front door. It was very clear to me that with multiple orders and customers at the counter, the story was more important than the food or the customers in-store. It was 5 minutes of a couple waiting at the register before anyone acknowledged them. Needless to say, it was a terrible 'hour' experience here and I just feel they don't care at all about customers here. So why should you? In the quest to find wings that will knock our socks off, my wife and I landed here one Friday evening. TL;DR version: the quest continues! On traditional bone-in wings, we tried their three "hottest" flavors and one we won't discuss: -Atomic (5 flames) was smoky, sweet and peppery, really more like a zesty tomato sauce. It was the hottest available for sure, but the flavor profile just didn't scratch the itch. -Mango Habanero (4 flames) was a lot of Mango and not enough Habanero for my taste, but if you like sweet as much as, or more than, spice you'll be happy with this sauce. -Cajun (4 flames) was the best of the three sauces. A respectable red pepper/vinegar/Cajun spice blend that hit the spot. We asked for an extra cup of the sauce just to drown out the mistake known as their garlic parmesan wings. The chicken itself was unremarkable. The fact they were a bit over cooked, was looked over because thankfully they were not 50% fat and skin. Not much meat on these bones, but not so little I'd demand a refund. I don't have much experience with Wing Stop, but I swear that someone in the back is diluting their Bleu Cheese with some kind of garlic ranch sauce. It tasted fine, but it was NOT Bleu Cheese. The big surprise here were the fries we had on the side. They were natural cut with lots of skin, good seasoning, the fries really stole the show. I stopped in last night - my first time ever at a WingStop. I ordered a 20 piece wings package with 3 flavors and 2 dipping sauces. My order was for Classic Hot wings, Teriyaki Wings and Hickory Smoked BBQ wings. There were several issues with my order which unfortunately I did not discover until I got home. Issue 1. The wings in my entire order were the drummette section of the wing; no I take that back there was 1 piece that was the boney end of the wing. I prefer the plat part of the wing over the drummette and if I had known that I would could get either/or I would have chosen the flat section. I doubt that was the case but it is extremely disappointing to get a complete order of my least favorite part of the chicken much less the chicken wing. Issue 2. Out of the 3 types of wings I ordered I could only identify the classic hot ( mainly by the color) The BBQ and the teriyaki were indistinguishable from each other - not bad if i had only order 1 of them. It would have been nice to be able to tell what was what. I did not taste even a hint of teriyaki flavor which most people would agree is a very different taste from Hickory smoked BBQ flavor. Issue 3 - I ordered and paid for 2 dipping sauces at $0.99 each and when I got home I had neither sauce! All in all my first and probably last visit to Wingstop was not enjoyable! When I'm craving wings, I like coming here. I normally get it to go due to working. It's a little pricey but I still love their wings here. The lace is clean and the service is great. I always get great service here. I love their lemon pepper and garlic parmesan and with extra sauce I love the fact that they have carrots and celery sticks here too, I always have to have my veggies.
