My wife and I stopped in on a Friday night for a burger and decided to do their restaurant week menu. We ordered our cocktail and after what seemed like 30 minutes later the waitress decided to take the food order. Sadly, the appetizers came out well before to cocktails did. We did not order anything extravagant. Crown and Coke and a smoked Old Fashion. We were mostly through our appetizers when cocktails came. The crown and coke was watered down as it may have been sitting there all this time. Old Fashion was not smoked. Their smoker would not work. So instead of coming by to say anything they just waited. Food was fine but seemed as if our waitress DISAPPEARED. We sat waiting 20 minutes just to pay the bill. Never came back to check on how the food was, if we needed anything else, nothing!! Now mind you there are maybe 20 people in the whole restaurant. They are not busy by no means. Therefore, I would recommend you go to McDonalds instead. read more

This spot genuinely surprised me! We went for an early lunch with a girlfriend and the wings were bomb! Plenty sauces and dry rubs I'd never thought of yet alone had tried on a wing before! I opted for the spicy crab boneless wings and the traditional lemon pepper wings. The spicy crab was a total hit. The boneless wings were very tender and large! Not too breaded and had a good white meat texture. The only reason I would ever say the lemon pepper wasn't more delicious was because on a dry rub it can be extra difficult to keep the seasoning on and I needed to ask for extra to powder on top to really get the full flavor. My friend had the buffalo dry rub and absolutely love them. Their game day specials were absolutely worth it ! I hear great things about their bottomless brunch too! I will certainly be back. Food was good, service was a little slow, live music was great. Service was slightly understandable considering food for brunch all you can eat was cook to order. But some orders didn't get put in, waitress said it was due to the machine and connections. Fish was a little salty. Stuffed French toast was great. Will come back again. My burger keeps getting burnt at this point it feels like it's something personal against me

What a pleasant surprise- We have never been in here but had time to kill on a Saturday noon and a bit hungry. We were greeted and seated promptly and noticed a waffle station. The server (Tya who was beyond excellent) told us about the Unlimited Brunch. Now $28 per seemed a bit high, and a 90 min time limit worried me about maybe slow service running the clock down, but I am pleased to say they knocked it out of the park. The dished were elevated flavors, not classic buffet breakfast fare. We opted to go with half portions, shared, so we could work our way through the whole menu. We didn't make it, but it was close. Stuffed French toast w/ strawberry creme, peaches and Creme Waffles, Savory and fluffy. Catfish and grits, Breakfast Tacos (black bean)- Robust and well cooked. quick appetizer of wings with Chipotle Raspberry sauce (balanced fruit with touch of spice). quickly delivered, and Tya was spot on with Coke refills before I hit the last sip (did I mention she was awesome :) ). The price ended up being more than fair- really a steal. I understand they only have this in Manassas, and hope they expand it, but we will drive over for this. The location has a cool patio (but it was raining). Now the quandary- I joined the loyalty club and discovered they are part of "Thompson Restaurant Group", and some of the great restaurants I have dined at in Charlottesville are part of this co- (The Ridgley and American Tap house). I have been coming here for lunch and dinner. But omg they just started brunch on March 8th and I must say I finally tried it out the portions are huge, tasty and so worth it. It's $28 a person, and it's Saturday and Sunday brunch from 10-5. They even have a dj with some amazing music playing. We had Tyler as a server and he was amazing and bar tender Tracy was good and manager Stacy is amazing as well. Service was good and a good pace. Everyone is very knowledge of everything as well. I love this location. The wings never disappoint. I love their fries too! Every one is always super helpful. I love how they have tvs everywhere and you can watch sports or anything really. It is clean, but sometimes too loud. I recommend this place and I love visiting. read more

Food was average, ambiance is average, taps haven't been working for 3 days. I'm not an expert in beer tap maintenance but i would think beer, being their bread and butter, that ownership and management would find a better vendor to do that type of maintenance and repair. I was looking forward to a cold beer with my wings and the server and the manager were completely indifferent to the fact that a pub couldn't serve me a beer on tap and couldn't do so in the previous 3 days. We all arrived on Saturday evening around 6:10. No one was at the host stand. There was a sign asking patrons to please wait here to be seated. Our party waited, and waited, and no one came over. We saw one waiter speak to guests dining in a booth near the host stand. Then a second waiter walked nearby and saw us, but again, no one came to seat us. As we looked around to search for a waiter, we couldn't find anyone. The restaurant was not crowded, and the bar still had seats available, so I'm not sure why no one was manning the host station. Regardless, we ended up walking out 10 minutes later. They lost our business tonight and we won't return. read more

I'm really disappointed with our experience today. I've been to this location many times and have always had great service, so I was excited to try the new brunch for my birthday with friends and family. Unfortunately, it was a disaster from the start. It took over an hour to receive our first round of food and drinks, and throughout the meal, we struggled to find our waitress for basic necessities like water, silverware, plates, and napkins. With the unlimited food and drink brunch menu, placing orders was nearly impossible since our server was rarely around--and to make matters worse, half of the food we ordered never even arrived. After 3.5 hours we finally left feeling defeated. I do NOT recommend their brunch. read more

Came here about 1 week ago and here's is what I have to say. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is awesome! There is a tv to watch all the best sports and shows. When it comes to the food it's pretty good! I ordered the garlic parm and lemon pepper and the garlic parm was very good with a good garlic flavor but the lemon pepper almost tasted like a lemon candy which was not very pleasant. I also felt the booths were too close together because the people sitting behind me kept sitting back and bumping me accidentally. The service was okay also. Our waiter checked on us a few times but took a while to give the check to us. If you want a fun Sunday football experience to watch football while eating wings in a restaurant then I would recommend this wing place. read more

Stopped by to get a decent burger. Decent is an understatement! I ordered an Old Virginia Jam Burger, medium, and a glass of water. I wouldn't spend an additional $7.00 for shoestring french fries. As it happened, the burger came with fries. The burger was properly cooked and flavorful! The service was prompt, and courteous, but a little loud for my taste. It's really a sports bar. The menu is full of selections that aren't typical for a sports bar. (i.e. fried pickles, cauliflower florets) Monday Special: $14.95 Burger & Wings Combo. If you've got a family, Tuesday Special: Kids eat free, WOW! Wednesday Special: 1/2 price boneless and tossed wings. Not really set up for more than 4 people in a group. Really has gone downhill in last few months. Corporate came in and eliminated most Happy Hour daily specials and apparently fired most staff. Lost is the local friendly atmosphere. I had some time to kill and slipped into velocity wings on dumfries road. I sat at the bar, ordered a draft and sweet chili wings to go. the service was phenomenal . Stacey was bartending and was amazing. happy, professional, engaging with customers around me and made my time there very comfortable and on point. beer was nice and cold, I even got a chance to try a tiny shot if the Kona wave ale. the wings were amazing. perfectly cooked and sauced!! Normally LOVE their service and food, but they need to work on their new brunch. We were there for 3 hours and multiple people didn't get their food at all. The all you can eat brunch is a great idea, but if you never get served, it's a waste of money, especially with a 1.5 hour time limit. We got our orders in ONCE in the full 1.5 hour window. Our waitress blamed the kitchen multiple times for the poor service when half the time we were waiting on drinks as well. Wouldn't be so frustrated if we didn't see them taking care of the table right next to us and ignoring our table completely.
