It's Wingstop. A few of us met up at this location while we all happened to be in the area, and the experience overall was average at best. Our orders came out pretty quickly all things considered, but this is one of those locations that doesn't have the fountain drink machine readily available to customers, so if we wanted refills we had to go to the counter so the staff could do it themselves which kinda sucked. The restaurant was decent in cleanliness, however the self-serve utensil station had sticky residue everywhere and the paper towel roll had fingerprints all over it. As for my meal, I shared a 15 piece for two which consisted of 7 Hawaiian Boneless Wings, 8 Hot Honey Rub Boneless Wings, 2 drinks, and regular Fries, with Bleu Cheese and Ranch. They weren't the best I've had from WingStop, tasting a little stale on the breading and just so-so on the sauce. The Fries aren't worth writing about, but we do wish we were given more Bleu Cheese. Wingstop has always made me feel ill afterwards no matter the location, so take this part with a grain of salt, but I figured I'd mention that I felt a little more sick than usual after this meal. I'd personally recommend going to another location if you're going to eat in. It's not the worst but it's not the best either, and the cleanliness could have been better. At about 12pm, a line started to grow, however the orders were handled promptly. The confusion came when the orders came out. This day, there were a couple Kelseys, Chelsea's, and believe it or not, Cindys. So I would suggest using a less common name like, Fred Flintstone or Harry Potter because it can get confusing. The wings here are pretty darn good. With lots of flavors to choose from. I like that you can order a small, medium, or large combo and mix and match a couple flavors even types of wings. I was on a time crunch and needed to pick these up before they opened so I could have them served by 11:00. As we know sometimes it's hard to find people that will actually follow through on a promise. To my surprise I arrived about 20 minutes before they opened to find two amazing gentleman standing at the front counter (Raul & Isaac). Not only were they ready to check me out they had our wings separated, labeled for which department they were going to AND what flavor each box was. They carefully loaded my car and ensured I had all the plates and napkins I needed. As someone who frequented Pluckers throughout college for my wing fix, I was bummed to find out that SA didn't have a Pluckers (nearest one is in San Marcos). But then I saw Wingstop and my hope was renewed! Lately, I've been having cravings for wings and have stopped by twice. Both times I ordered to-go at the cash register (vs. online) and was told that the wait was 18 minutes, which surprised me considering I ordered small meals and the restaurant was mostly empty on both occasions. Even though the cashier kindly gave me a drink refill when my order was ready for pick-up (I was sipping on my iced tea while waiting), my tip#1 is to order online and then go pick it up (unless you're ok with a ~20 min wait). As for the food, the wings have consistently been flavorful and well-seasoned. (There are 11 flavors to choose from and my favorite so far is their Lemon Pepper.) But beware: it's very salty! Compared to Pluckers' wings, these are much saltier IMO. The fries, which you can choose as a side for the combo meals, have an interesting mix of sweet and salty seasoning, which I'm personally not a fan of. TL;DR: Overall, I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Wingstop (salty food and long wait time) and I consider Pluckers a better wings food chain. But, considering my options in SA, I could see myself returning to satisfy my wing cravings--of course, after ordering online (vs. in-store) to avoid a ~20 minute wait! read more

My strips were decent, but a little dry because of all the Parmesan on top. I hadn't ordered any dipping sauce, so I went back for some ranch. They charge you per sauce, which seems a little odd, but whatever. I didn't need that 75 cents anyway. After that, they were better, but still a little drier than I would like. Wing Stop has a whole slew of sauces for your wings, ranging from mild all the way to atomic. An added bonus is that if you place a larger order, you can try out several kinds of sauce. They also offer different kinds of sides, like coleslaw and baked beans. Service is friendly, and the atmosphere is laid back. Plenty of people come in just to place an order and take it with them, so there were some benches for the people waiting. I didn't eat all my strips and the girl at the front packaged them up for me, which was nice. Overall, Wing Stop is a friendly, decent place to grab some chicken. After calling back I was transferred to several people stating they never received my order, then began to blame the uber driver then began to tell me they cannot offer a refund because they do not see my order in the system. The young boy accused me of just wanting free food when I never once requested free food. My order was cancelled by them & was calling in to confirm a refund.
