    Mozzarella Sticks with Dipping Sauce
    Waseem A.

First halal pizza place I've tried in San Antonio, I have to give it 5 stars. I generally rate places based on other available choices in the area. First the pizza, quality ingredients. I usually precer a thin style pizza or a light airy crust if it's deep dish. I would say the bake is perfect and the flavor is great. It's definitely heavy on the cheese and I normally don't get pepperoni since I don't generally get meat so I was t prepared for the level of grease on the pizza. I prob would order a vegetarian next time! But I can't say anything bad about the quality of the pizza. The mozeralla sticks wow. You can tell they are made in house with care amazing flavorful panko style crust. Dipping sauce has great flavor as well. Rami knows what he's doing. Based on the mozzarella sticks alone I can only imagine what everything else on the menu tastes like. I will be back to try other items to see if they match the quality of the mozeralla sticks. The service is great. Came to check up on my three times. Once before pizza was coming to give me a heads up. Very nice. I'll be back again!

This restaurant has the best customer service! The food is always so amazing, he makes the sauce and dough from scratch! The pizza oven makes the pizza come out perfectly crisp, tying together the whole experience. The over all ambiance is a cozy diner! I love it, definitely recommend you try it. Like me, you will become a reoccurring customer.

Went to the theater nearby and just wanted to try something new and we figured we'd go for some pizza after seeing the reviews of this place as a five star we figured we had to check it out. I will say that the service is definitely five stars the people are super friendly very attentive and just makes you feel at home. The food was really good, but I found the pizza to be a bit salty and typically I have to add salt to my stuff and for me this was a bit too salty. Also, the pizza were super thin slices, which is OK if you like that, but I was hoping for a little bit more crust the wings are really good though that I got the garlic Parmesan wings and I really like that they offer to sell like a 3 L of soda that we can all share so overall I think it was a great place like I said I would give it five stars but for my liking, it wasn't in taste, but it wasn't Bad either just wasn't the best and just a little tad salty.

She had been there once before with her retired teacher's group and raved about it for a few days. I was excited to go. The actual venue is really charming. Our server told us that the owner decorated it himself, including painting the beautiful murals. The tables are nicely spread out. Everything is cheerful and clean. The food was wonderful. We started with garlic cheese bread. It came on a platter with a bowl of sauce in the middle. There was plenty for the three of us on the platter. It was wonderful. The bread was soft and tasty. The cheese and sauce put it over the top. For my entree, I ordered Diavola alla Crema, which was gnocchi, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, parmesan, shrimp, and a spicy creamy sauce. There were options such as pasta instead of gnocchi and chicken instead of shrimp. In fact, my wife had the same dish with the chicken. I can't say enough about this meal. First of all, the portion was absolutely huge. I actually brought half of mine home with me so I could manage dessert. The shrimp were cooked to perfection. The gnocchi were lusciously soft and flavorful, but the sauce... OMG that sauce. It was creamy and seasoned immaculately. There was a tiny bite to it that really sent the whole dish overboard. I even commented to my wife that I couldn't think of anything that could ever make that sauce better. It was truly the star of the plate. My son had the Chicken Gorgonzola. He said it was very good. All I can say is that it sure looked amazing. He raved about the sauce on his, as well. He couldn't eat all of his, and carried a small box home with him. He even skipped dessert. My wife and I are dessert people when celebrating an occasion. The server said she had a tray of samples to show us, but recommended that we walk over to the counters to see the full selection. I took one look and felt my heart beating faster. I liked everything I saw, but two things really stuck out for me. When we got back to the table I told my wife I was torn between two of them. She was also torn between the same two choices, so we ordered one of each and split them. I don't remember the names, and they aren't listed on the receipt. I think one was called Biscoff caramel cheesecake. The other was a huge slice of a delicious layered cake that had cream filling and blueberries. Both of them were truly delicious. Now that I have tried this wonderful establishment, I will bring my retired teacher group during next year's rotation.

Lunch specials ranged from 14.99-18.99, and is a great price for entree (good portions), salad or soup of the day, and sweet tea or unsweetened tea! Can't beat it. We were sat pretty quickly, we ordered Chicken Piccata with a salad that I shared with a friend and still had to pack the rest up. The lunch portion was HUGE! I did not finish it all but I also couldn't stop eating it. I tried my friend's Shrimp plate and it was delicious also, and ordered a Tiramisu desert to-go. Tried it at home and yummmmm. Our server was so awesome, all our food was hot and soooo good. He brought us fresh garlic butter bread right out of the oven. I can't wait to go and try more dishes. Our server mentioned that dinner servings are even bigger than the lunch portions. Clean restaurant and really pleasant atmosphere.

I really used to like this restaurant, which makes this experience even more disappointing…read more First, placing the order over the phone was some of the worst communication I've ever experienced. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, a medium meat lovers pizza, two orders of spaghetti with Bolognese and extra sauce, and a lasagna. That is not a complicated order. What I actually received was apparently determined by somebody spinning a wheel in the kitchen. I got a large pepperoni pizza instead of a medium. The so-called meat lovers pizza was so sparsely topped that the only reason I knew it was supposed to be meat lovers was because I spotted maybe two mysterious brown pieces of something on it. Then we moved into the pasta portion of this disaster. One order was actually spaghetti with Bolognese. There was no lasagna at all. And instead of the second spaghetti, I received tortellini with Bolognese. Why in the triple hell would anyone decide, without asking me, that stuffed pasta was an acceptable substitute for spaghetti? Maybe tortellini with Bolognese is the person taking the order's favorite meal, but it certainly isn't mine--and more importantly, I DIDN'T ORDER IT. I live in Bandera, so unfortunately I didn't discover this entire comedy of errors until I got home. Yes, I should have checked the order before leaving, but I also shouldn't have to conduct a full inventory inspection to make sure a restaurant managed to put the food I actually ordered into the bags. Wrong pizza size. Barely any meat on the meat lovers pizza. Missing lasagna. Wrong pasta entirely. At that point, this wasn't an order--it was a culinary guessing game. For what restaurant food costs these days, customers should at least be able to expect the meal they paid for. I'm beyond disappointed because this was a restaurant I genuinely enjoyed. After this experience, though, I'll have to think long and hard before making that drive again. And whoever decided tortellini was interchangeable with spaghetti: please stop freelancing with people's dinner.

I have been praying for a decent Italian restaurant to open up close to us. My prayers have been answered. This location used to be a pizza sports bar kind of place that closed a few months ago. Now it is a very nice full-menued Italian restaurant. A lot of my favorite dishes are on the menu. Today, I tried the cannelloni in marinara sauce. My wife tried the cannelloni in Al Fredo. We were served a nice cold and crisp salad along with a basket of bread knots. That bread was soft and delicious, especially when dipped in the bowl of olive oil they provided with it. Both of our entrees were very good. They were served piping hot straight out of the oven in oval dishes. I tasted the Al Fredo and it was delicious. It is way too rich for me, hence my ordering the marinara, which was amazing. Since they gave us two huge bread knots each, I used my second one to sop up the sauce like an ill-mannered peasant. Talk about good! We each chose one of their delicious desserts to take home. My wife opted for chocolate cheesecake. I am not a fan of that at all, but she said it was really good. I had the Italian Cream Cake. It was moist and delicious with lots of awesome icing. Our server, Rose, was very welcoming and helpful. She seemed well-versed on the menu and assisted us in making our choices. The manager was very friendly and talked to us a bit. The music was relaxing. All in all, I liked everything about this place and hope they do a great business. I truly expect to become a regular here.

My sweet potato of a boy has somehow decided that cheese tortellini is the epitome of fine dining,…read moreand in the interest of not having to cook too often, we've been on a quest to find the best tortellini in town. I thought the "soup of the day: cheese tortellini" sign...was a joke like "soup of the day: beer". No, that's really the soup option. Anyway, this one was close to his school, had a tortellini entree, and looked pretty good, so we decided to give it a whirl. We've gotten the last walk-in table twice now, at 5:45 pm. Which really gives me the warm fuzzies. It's a tiny space that seats maybe 20 folks; it's proud, not upscale, but not run down and reasonably busy. It's slightly claustrophobic, but in a way that implies they're prioritizing space for tables. It's the kind of place where you can just feel that the food is gonna be good. The kid got the cheese tortellini on both visits and will do so on every visit in the future for all of eternity. He decided he's not a fan of tortellini in soup form, so I get his soup. He rates the entree somewhere above HEB imported refrigerated variety and somewhere below his most beloved Pesto Restaurante, but I think if we tweak the sauce, we will get it dialed in ok. I've gotten Veal Francese both times, because I'm a monster, and when I see veal on a menu, I can't help myself. It was paired with a salad, and (my kid's) soup, and the entree was served with pasta al dente. Super filling and priced quite reasonably. It was delicious - I loved everything about it. Awesome little family-style place, great food, good atmosphere, ample parking. This one checks all the boxes.
