This is my favorite place to eat in Santa Maria. The wings are 10 times better than BWW down the street! They understand crisp it crunchy and their fries are amazing! Customer service is good and the owner is often there to ask how things are. It is definitely small so finding a seat can be challenging during busy times. Literally saw an employee pick his nose, wiped it on his pants and continued working on the wings he was mixing in a large metal bowl. I live just a few blocks from this location and due to the fact they are the only wing place in town they get my business. However, I am rarely satisfied. They consistently get the order wrong or take way longer than the quoted time. Most recently I waited 15 minutes over the quoted 30 minute wait. They are always unorganized and inconsistent with their service. I look forward to B-dubs opening across the street. Placed an online order 2hrs ahead of time. Arrived at the place and noticed a lot off people being told it would be a wait to receive their order. I talked to the cashier and i was told they never received my order. I showed them the receipt and payement. They start looking at all their receipts and had no organization. Finally they found the ticket only to tell me that the order hasn't been started and it would be a 25 min wait. Worst service, i definitely do not recommend this place. read more

I love wingstop. The wingstop here Santa Maria is terrible though. I usually call my order in. When I get there, I pay and they check if the order is done. The last two times I have been there, I pay and they tell me my order will be done in a couple minutes. I end up waiting 25 minutes and turns out my order was sitting right behind the cashiers the whole time. I even asked multiple times to see if my order was done. The owners need to check this place more often because it is poorly ran. I guess I have to wait for Buffalo Wild Wings to come to slo to get my wing fix! read more

First off... the restaurant space isn't great. Too small for parties over four, no room for strollers/high chairs, and the tables are too close together. So why the four stars? Because they sprinkle their fries with crack. It's my best guess as whatever it is on there is super addicting. Sweet/salty... the kettlecorn of fries but with garlic goodness. Wings are great too and I like that they have a boneless option for those of us who find gnawing on an animal's bone nauseating. Portions of fries are HUGE and can easily be shared. I come to this location on a regular basis but the service has become horrible. The management is out of touch with it and the staff is undermanned and overworked. They are doing the best they can but the volume of customers is more than they can handle. I just stopped here at 11:15pm and they said they have stopped taking order for the night. I want to start this off by saying that I understand that this is a fast food establishment and that they are constantly BUSY however, I do want to acknowledge the fact that this particular incident has happened MORE than once .My online orders have relentlessly been mistaken by either someone else's OR I have been given the wrong order. What caused me to be upset this time would have to be the fact that I paid for delivery and waited over two hours for my particular order. I ordered a very generic basic order that consists of barbecue and Buffalo Wild Wings as well as a large fry. After waiting for 2+ hours my delivery came in and I realized that everything I received was plain (as it did not have a single flavor). I immediately double checked my order to make sure that there was absolutely no error on my behalf. I then proceeded to call, once I confirmed my order. I was then placed on hold for at least 20+ minutes and then I spoke to what supposedly was supposed to be a manager and then I realized he was not a manager and was told me that I had two options. Either I can re-order my order (that would take 45 minutes or more on top of the would of been 3+ hours) or I could receive a refund that would not be effective until at least two days. I spoke to the fellow associate and I understand that he is just an associate but the expression that I was displeased was none to say the least. He essentially said "OK". When wing stop first opened it was fast service and very tasty. Now the wait is long and the chicken is dry and the food comes packed very sloppy. They constantly get your order wrong. Placed order online Saturday night, and wait was 45 minutes. Called store to make sure that the wait time was accurate and she very rudly said yes. Went to pick up my order 45 minutes later, they were very short staffed with only one person on cashier and 2 guys working the kitchen. Cashier's line was so long, waitied almost 10-15 minutes just to pick up my order. They were OUT of ranch. And also out of rolls. Got home to see that my boneless wings were luke warm and very tiny pieces of basically just fried breading and no actual chicken.
