Ordered a 12 ct grilled nugget in drive thru. Took my order home and received a regular 12 ct nugget. Not what I ordered but I decided I would just eat anyways. First nugget I bit into had a very stale texture, the temperature of the food was off and mind you I live down the street from this location and went straight home to eat after drive thru order. Old stale nuggets is what I received. I called the restaurant and was told to come back to get a refund. I went back and explain to the cashier and a front of house lead who was very rude over the phone and in person. I won't be coming back here and i'll let other people I know not to come back. For the most part I always receive good food items from Chick-fil-A. Even when we eat inside is clean and everyone is friendly. But as of recently the drive thru window service is lacking. I have had a few times when I get home and all my items are not there but that happens in a few different restaurants. This particular time I returned to get the two brownies I paid for on the last trip, but did not get. I placed my order which was sent in wrong but the employee at the payment kiosk called in to correct it from spicy to not spicy chicken. She even had to explain to whomever "the same sandwich, just not spicy". Well, by the time I got to the window, the matter was still getting sorted out. So I sat there for about 4 minutes watching a lot of horsing around. One girl fixing her braid and applying lip gloss, two girls dressing one of the young men with a salty vest to go out to drive thru, another girl completely combing her fingers through another girl's hair to put it up in a clip. YOUR IN A KITCHEN FOR GOD SAKES. Finally they sent me to park because they were still sorting out my sandwich issue. WHERE IS THE MANAGER. These girls need to be trained better. There were a total of 5 employees in that area and just one focused on the job. I will be taking a break from them for a long while until they can get it together. My 8 year old son had surgery today, and on the way home his only request was Chick-fil-A. I tried to convince him to do the drive-thru, but he insisted on going inside. Because of his surgery, he needed some help walking in and finding a seat. I wish I knew her name, but on 2/12/26 around 2:30 p.m., there was an incredible young woman working who went completely out of her way to show Oliver such kindness and support. She gifted him a box with a limited-edition cup and plushie. That small act of kindness meant more than she probably knows. It put the biggest smile on my sweet boy's face after a hard day. Moments like this are why we will always support this establishment. Going above and beyond for customers especially a child recovering from surgery is something you just don't see often anymore. My stubborn male parent forced me to dine inside of this establishment. I ordered a spicy deluxe, fries with a waffle style cut, and a concoction labeled as a frosted lemonade. Waffles were acceptable, lemonade was scrumptious and refreshing still with the classic milkshake feeling that make you feel just a little bit gluttonous. Service was good I got my food rather quickly and they were nice. Ambiance how ever was how I can only describe as spiritually inept. Decoration was a bit appalling, there was a vestibule created using recycles coke bottles that had no purpose. I sat next to the children's farmyard inspired playpen and heard screams that could be considered demonic. Anyways lettuce was soggy and bread underbaked, but I still completed the dish in under 3 bites. Would come again. read more

While I don't have an issue with service, the quality of the chicken sandwich has changed for the worse. It is NASTY now. I took a couple bites and was like naw.. Then my wife took a couple of bites, looked at me and said, "what happened?" We both had some stomach issues afterwards.. Whatever new ingredients they put into the sandwich is not it. COVID TIMES EDITION: My husband and I were extremely disappointed to see half of the drive through staff, especially the ones handling the food not masking. We noted hoards of people leaving the inside of the joint at the end of the lunch rush without masks as we were entering the line. We are in Santa Barbara County and masks indoors are again mandated (and have been for a while). I won't be returning to this franchise because I am certain that there is a certain culture in management that is anti-mask. ENVIRONMENTAL CRITIQUE: Styrofoam water cups. Folks!?! It's 2021! Places like Costco have gone away with straws of all things. Surely, chik-fil-a can get with the modern times and use something like paper. A little reminder- Styrofoam can't break down AND has been linked to cancer. Why they continue to use it is just beyond me. So thats that. Was in the area visiting family & wanted to grab a bite to eat . I was worried about coming Chick-fil-A because in the Bay Area lines are always so long!! Not the case at this location. This is without a doubt the worst location in the country. We have patronized well over 50 locations in ten states and not one came close to the ineptitude of Santa Maria. The employees are rude, especially today, and the drive thru is a complete joke. My mobile order was somehow deleted in the two minutes from the ordering station and the pick up window. Had to park and wait 8 more minutes for my order. My Autistic son said "I don't think we should come back here." This, the child who spots CFA stores from the air over every airport. He knew exactly where we needed to go from SEATAC. Santa Maria has disappointed every single time. read more

Stopped in this Chick-fil-A a few weeks ago and you could tell that things are still fairly new and there's some room for improvement. I'm sure once the initial rush dies down a bit things will be very efficient like all the other stores. Overall, it was an ok experience. This indecisive large family more or less caused a huge bottle neck and took up both registers. Being the head of a house hold is tough and trying to accommodate the entire family, young and old, is not easy. They were just so unaware with their surroundings. After a while, the staff realized that the line wasn't moving and opened up a 3rd register and called me over. At this point the line was probably 15 people deep, so I'm glad they were able to alleviate the wait. Soon after I got my food and drink. I got the #1 deluxe combo and also got some nuggets. There's a bunch of different choices depending on what mood you're feeling. I'm a big fan of their big variety of sauces and even their ketchup and hot sauces are generously out for your dining pleasure. I'm sure I'll be back, I have no doubt I'll give them a higher rating next time but this trip was meh. Parking: they have a portion of the parking lot dedicated just to them. There's signs and blockades directing you in a certain way to park or to enter the drive thru which was almost like an amusement park. My first visit ever to a Chick-fil-A and it was a great experience. The first thing I did was download the app, then I was able to see everything on the menu. The app is pretty easy to use and you could actually let the app know when you get there so the meal will be hot. I ordered an English muffin with cheese, egg, and sausage, then ordered a bagel with chicken, egg, and cheese. The English muffin is bigger than the MCD egg McMuffin and I have to admit the CFA muffin was a bit tastier. As for the Bagel, it was good, but I think I would of removed the chicken and ate the bagel just with the cheese and egg. I could tell you the chicken was excellent. I can't wait to order the Chick n Strip meal. Customer service was great, I went in the morning and it wasn't too busy, and it was nice to be able to go straight to pickup and just pickup up my bag while everyone else is waiting, I forgot to ask if I could of just go to the drive thru and pick-up. Well, for now this may be my competition for me between KFC and CFA because KFC was my go to Fried Chicken eatery. read more

Came in 11-9-2022, Wednesday evening. The restaurant was super busy. LITZY, assisted me at the counter. She was friendly, professional, and accurate. Litzy also made some wonderful suggestions for my order. And yes, she was spot on with her recommendations. While the food was delicious and the wait time was minimal, it really was Litzy that made my evening a true dining experience rather than just a fast food meal. When i opened the nugget box, there were only 9 pcs, and half of those were tiny pcs. Honestly, it looked like someones leftovers. I immediately walked back to the drive thru window to let them know. I was given a replacement but not without some undeserved attitude. Just a nasty stare and no apologies for the mix up. They made me feel as if I was in the wrong.
