Overpriced and food leaves you feeling like dookie. Wing stop simply isn't the same as it used to be. Too greasy and too expensive

Came here yesterday because it's my son's favorite place to eat. I love seeing him smile so I got his favorite. Naz short for Nazamia (hope I spelled that right wouldn't want to get anyone's name wrong) was sweet and had an inviting countenance. The wings were good and my son was surprised. Hadn't been in a while and wanted to do something nice for him. We ate as a unit, just the two of us and he told me all about his day. Parenting can be challenging listening to the advice of others on what you should do for your child but the reward from listening to your heart will never steer you astray. It may hurt but as a parent you do whatever it takes to make sure they know you care. Sorry not sorry I started rambling (I'm so tired right now but I had to let y'all know about my experience) somebody needed to hear that. I couldn't finish all my wings but they were good. Do not come here. Awful service. I called 3 times to ask a question and was told no one could take my call. The wait inside wasn't long, it was the service and the amount of time the food took. It took 40 minutes to get wings. Really? That's unacceptable, tables all around received food. We kept asking for bar drinks and it would take forever to get them. read more

A hit or miss every time you order. Wing stop used to be my number one spot for wings especially since they used to always be so crispy and with lots of lemon pepper. Now they are never crispy and I never taste any flavor on my wings. The service also lacks and the wait time is always ridiculous. I now go to wing it down the street. read more

I've expressed my opinion on wing restaurants in other reviews, but in short - because of the components of a good wing (the fry, the sauce, the sides) - there's nothing wrong with a chain if it can get things right. I'm a sucker for heat, so half of my order came in their atomic sauce. The skeptical cashier asked me again if I was man enough to handle the heat, and I assured her I was. The other half of my order was in their second-spiciest offering, cajun. The atomic is indeed very hot, with a fruity habanero flavor amongst the overwhelming heat that is definitely not for everyone. It was a struggle to get through the four boneless wings I ordered, but I loved every minute of it. After my eyes and nose stopped running, I moved on to the cajun. The sauce, though glowing red as its atomic brethren, had a different base, and along with the heavy spices, provided for a much more manageable and flavorful sauce. If I were to go back again, I would opt for the cajun. The thing that surprised me the most about Wing Stop was their fresh-cut fries. They know how to do 'em right, and for that, I would definitely put them above what BWW or Hooters has to offer. They're a Texas-based chain to boot, so at least you feel a little closer to home. The decor might not be the best and the kitchen is small, but the wings are amongst the best I've had at a chain. Get them to go and bring on the pain. read more

food was soggy before I even walked out the door . didn't even bother to say anything because they didn't see anything wrong with it when they put it in the bag . I've worked fast food and other restaurants and most likely they're making large batches of fries and wings so they can just have the sitting there and not have to worry about cooking to order and waste . thought this food was such poor quality I didn't even care about the portion size and not actually getting what we paid for . When you can't head to Wild Wings on a football Sunday, Wing Stop serves as a close second. I showed up there at 11am this morning to place my order for this afternoon's games with family. They were open and ready to serve. The service was extra friendly and quick. We ordered the family meal, 3 choices of meats with fries and a side. We ordered Teryaki, Parmesan, and BBQ. Cole Slaw was the side. We waited to eat until everyone showed up after 45 minutes. The chicken was soft and moist with great flavor. We chose mild sauces but the spiciness is still there. The cole slaw was excellent. It reminds me a bit of the cole slaw you get with a Maine lobster up north. Lots of food to serve to 6 people for under $20. Not bad! We will be back. read more

The wings are usually great but the service is extremely slow. I ordered ahead online and still had to wait 32 more minutes for my order. The store had no one in line but people were seated. Which is pretty annoying. Magdalena cashed me and and she was sweet. She's a great cashier and will go far in life. Keep hiring great people like her. She's made up for the long wait. The wings were hot but over cooked. So many pieces was hard I couldn't enjoy. I guess that's the price you have to pay when it's busy. Been here multiple times but last visit I ordered 50 wing pieces and sides to go and they did not give me the complete order; I did not notice this until I was home. I called them and the manger said they would refund me for the missing wings but they did not. Even if I had checked the order before I left it would have been hard to determine anything was missing due to the large order and multiple boxes. This place doesn't even deserve one star .. The food is a 3 out of 10 Service - I waited 50 min for 6 bone in wings @10pm when it was empty on a Sunday & I received them cold .. I stood next to Uber eats drivers who confirmed this location has been consistently having issues and his wait times are long every time .. considering he doesn't get paid hourly and instead per pick up I sympathized and decided to write this review in hopes that changes are made in this location I even saw the manager present and he was unconcerned about the issues happening in front of him my order was not correct when received . they can mess up even the simple things when ordering I wanted the meal and instead they charged me for fry's and a six piece separately upon asking for ranch he told me it's extra and the fact I specifically mentioned this when ordering due to past issues I've had here .. Called into the store, had it confirmed by a follow on phone call and then received an email from door dash saying it had been delivered (false). Called the store to have it resolved and was told I needed to contact door dash instead of the store to receive a refund. I didn't place the order through door dash, I called the store and now I'm expected to go through their delivery service to dispute the Not only did this store not make the error right, it pushed it off on its 3rd party delivery company. My children and I visited this place once. I ordered a 30 piece family meal. I thought we would have leftovers for my husband but I was wrong. The wings were a little small. The fries were good. The wings were tasty. My daughter loved the Polynesian, my son loved garlic parmigiano just like me. We also ordered mild wings. All were great choices. Service was extremely slow. Our order was supposed to take 15 minutes until pick up. It's now 25 minutes past when our order was due. We went up to the counter to check on our order and it turns out they gave our order to someone else. We paid upon arrival and waited. They didn't call our name at all, but some how our order was given away. My husband went to the counter to check on it, and he at first couldn't even figure out what happened. Don't come here unless you like attitude and poor service. First Lady who took our order was actually nice, ordered, sat down and waited for the food. When I went to get it, I asked for ranch and the other girl said "$1.61". That's all she said. I told her that we told the First Lady we ordered ranch, which we did because we were getting a special that didn't come with it and she specifically asked if we wanted it, which I said yes. She just kept saying "1.61" about 3 more times then I finally said whatever, but asked if that was per cup and the pleasant cook yelled "yeah that's per cup!". Like, I was willing to pay it but I just said nvm let me get a to go box and took our stuff to go. Not here to complain about prices, but also cmon man. 1.61 for a SINGLE cup of ranch good for like 3 wings. That's highway robbery. I have seen the reviews, but I have eaten here enough times to see the inconsistency. I don't know if is the cooks or a turnover in staff, sometimes it is great and sometimes it is horrible. When it is bad we take about a two month break and go somewhere else. We ate there last week around 3pm and it was great. We ate in and the lady that took our order was very nice and also brought our order to the table. Everything was great and she even checked on us. This place is faster at churning out reject high school employees than they are wings. All wingstops are created equal so this rating is not based on quality of food. Just be prepared for a wait longer than you can bear. They put me on hold for 15 minutes before I hung up to remind them I was on hold. I've lost count of times they tell me food will be ready in "18 minutes" (supposedly all wingstop estimates this for each order) and it's never that. Every time I go there it's double that and once i waited almost an hour. I feel pretty horrible about this scathing review but after ripping the manager last week and so many other countless bad experiences I don't feel too bad about warning the public about the incompetence in this joint. read more

I got here within 5 minutes of Call. Paid for order on arrival. Sat down for 25 minutes until it was ready. I ordered my wings crispy. When I got my wings they were cold to the touch. They were cooked, but cold. When I took the wings to the cashier. She took them to the back, then came out and said if we cook you new wings, it's going to be about 25 minutes. In an annoyed tone. The location can be a little tricky if you're not used to the area (it's on the north end of of the shopping center with Mr Gatti's facing Pat Booker Rd).
