9/28/24 Was hesitant to order Wingstop because the reviews did not at all look promising, but I really wanted wings, and after tonight I was pleasantly surprised. I placed a carry out order on the Wingstop app and had no problem. I live kind of far out, so it took me 20 mins to get to the restaurant. I ordered this through DoorDash as I live 15 minutes away. They really messed up my order. I ordered 10pc boneless chicken wings with a large ranch and cheese fries with Garlic Parmesan seasoning. When my order arrived the extra seasoning I paid for on my fries was non existent and I even asked for extra seasoning. No Parmesan in sight! I ordered a large ranch and somehow it didn't show up in my complete order and I didn't notice until the order showed up. My husband went to another wing stop to get me the Parmesan seasoning (and ranch) which ended up being 19 cents for just a small thing of cheese! Their DoorDash system is completely messed up. There were two girls clearly visible in the back not properly wearing their mask while cutting vegetables and were cutting the vegetables without wearing gloves. I saw one of them check her phone and go back to cutting vegetables without washing her hands. The staff only pulled their mask up when they noticed me staring at them. I saw 6 containers in the bag. I ordered 6 meals. We got this. Then I drive 10 miles home. Im a hero. My kids are so excited. I beat the storms home. My wife is in a great mood. Dad has saved the day. Food at last! I felt like a caveman that had killed a Woolly Mammoth for his starving family just as the ice age threatened to wipe them from the face of the Earth. Then we open the bag. I have 6 containers.......of fries. Only 2 of them contain any meat. No Woolly Mammoth. Hero status revoked. On the road again... 10 miles.... back to Wingstop. At first the young lady looked confused. She recognized me. She knew I had just left 20 minutes earlier. Im sure she could see the fire building in my head. As calmly as I can, I explain that I had received less than 50% of the food for which I had paid. The huddle of employees in the back was like a scene from 12 Angry Men. A couple of them protested that I had received my order, but the young lady stood her ground. She calmly walked back with her co-workers listening closely to every word uttered and said " You had 2 bags right? I remember 2 bags? " I stared at her for a moment thinking of the many responses I had rehearsed on the 10 mile ride back to town, but none of the profanity-laced versions seemed appropriate so I simply replied " No. I was given 1 bag and told my order was finished". A light went off. A light of sadness and disappointment, but a light nonetheless. My other bag had been given to someone else. The young lady at the counter politely reminded me that they would have to start my order from scratch which would take another "16-21 minutes". The text to my wife was riddled with defeat. She laughed to hide her starvation. I watched other patrons leave without suspecting their order might have been incomplete. Not even a peak in the bag. The kind of blind trust you simply should not have in humanity at this point in civilization, but a small part of me was happy about their potential misfortune. Why should I be alone in my misery? The manager came out eventually. Im sure by now my epic tale had reached the highest peaks of every mountain. She politely put my wrote my name on a list for a " 30% off coupon for my next purchase " and apologized. Things were looking up. My food was ready. Jokingly( but not joking at all), I looked the guy that brought my food( coincidentally the guy that brought me my first order) and said " I hope you don't mind if I double check this". He laughed and said " No sir, but its all there this time!" He was so confident. It was cute. So I checked anyway. My trust level was 0. My faith in humanity had been tested. My gut said " Its not there, you know its not all there " It was, indeed, not all there. I was missing an order for which they would, once again, have to start from scratch and leave me to sit alone with my brain that was now harboring a lava pit of anger that was ready to explode at any moment. I kept my cool. By now it was comical. I did my WORDLE WINGS FRIES FIGHT PUNCH LEAVE Nope. By now, it looked like a scene from Twister outside and I was still sitting in a Wingstop waiting for food that I had ordered 2.5 hours ago, but my food was done. Finally. ordered at 5pm. Home by 730pm. My family had withered into tiny versions of their former selves, but sustenance was on the way. Let this be a cautionary tale. Dont trust anyone. Especially not the person across the counter. They literally could not care less about whether or not your order is correct unless they work at a nameless chicken shack that isn't open on Sunday. They dont care if you get sucked up into a tornado and spit out somewhere not in Kansas. Test them. Pull every.single.item out and check it individually. Wholly crap, you'd think the bad reviews were false but I was sadly disappointed. Ordered boneless wings with fries and carrots and a large ranch..... wings were sitting in oil. Fries burned to a crisp and inedible. Ranch forgotten (but paid for). Carrots were cut up and mangled. This has to be a joke location. I would encourage those with bad experiences to contact the corporate office and notify them of such deplorable service and food at this particular location. First and foremost, I Wingstop wings. I ordered delivery on Waxahachie Wingstops website which uses Doordash delivery. Placing the order went well, 30-45 min to receive. Unfortunately I received another customers order. I called the store, the manager said contact Doordash for them to resubmit my order. Doordash said after a long wait, this store does not do that. I then drive to the store with the bag in hand. Inside I see many staff standing around in the back, one nice young girl at the feont register and see the mngr. in the back amongst them. I said I just spoke with you and she had already forgotten. I said your stores deliveries through Doordash does not allow resubmitting for corrections and asked if my order was here. She took it from a shelf, handed to me....COLD. WHAT! Please remake this.. Who hired this woman? She said it will be a 15-20 min wait, Note: I asked her why customers last names are not written on the sealed bag for drivers. She said, we don't do that, the drivers remember. Hmmm, what if there's more than one order? A few guests orders were incorrect while I waited. What is your policy on manager response to incorrect orders? Delivery notes? From the reviews, it seems like this store needs management retraining or new management. This store is in a great location and has potential if led better. I called Red Oak and Midlothian stores on my way home, each had different ways of noting customer names on the sealed bags with either the receipt or name. read more

Wing-Stop is a Dallas Cowboy and Los Angeles Laker-affiliated joint, that boasts bold flavors and a cool, vintage atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable, and the meals are quite satisfying/filling. I usually proceed with the Individual 8 Pc. Combo (Original Hot) and Potato Salad. Much to my (not) surprise, the IQ of the staff is nothing to exclaim from the mountain-tops about, but the flavors are still there and make me miss LA, where I first visited Wing-Stop. read more

I don't like to give negative reviews, but I gave this location a drubbing a couple years ago... and they earned every bit of it. Thank goodness, the new managers have taken over, expanded the restaurant and have done a great job training and upgrading the staff. Everybody is super friendly now. They take pride in delivering great service. Keep the restaurant clean and serve a much better quality product. Hard to believe it's the same place, but that's what great managers do. Don't order delivery what ever you do!!! We ordered a group pack for delivery. We did not receive our full order. We called them only for them to tell us we need to call Door dash in order to get the rest of our order. Then they told us we couldn't get a refund unless we brought the food back. They charged my husband's card 3 times and argued with him about how he is lying and that he should go to his bank in the morning. We paid for our food to be delivered and thats all we wanted. This was my 1st stop at a Wingstop and it will be my last. As I am typing this, it has been over 35 minutes since we ordered. At this point the quality and taste of the food is immaterial. I won't ever come back. Additionally, the receipt they provide asks for a survey but the code for the store was a bogus number 000 do the survey would not even go through. Management must have realized they were getting bad reviews being reported back to corporate so they apparently sabotage anyone submitting a survey. We are now at 40 minutes. I would like to say I have guilt writing this but I don't. I'd just like to say that wingstop in Waxahachie is just sad. We decided to do Doordash tonight and after droping off food we waited over half an hour to receive we got a text saying food was missing and since the bag was sealed we could not check and well we felt bad so we went back to get the food. We told them what was missing and they offered brownies as well as a consultation. They handed us a bag and said we were good to go. As We were pulling up to drop off the food we joked about if they had just given the customer brownies.... we looked in the bag and that's all there was, just a handful of brownies. None of the 18 wings they were missing. As a dasher I can say that wingstop has been a constant disappointment but this time I'm just amazed. And they ordered through wingstop which uses Doordash so it is not like they could complain to Doordash and get credit for future purchases. Update: we returned and they said the brownies were instead of their food. Like they paid for wings, wth. Then they said it was because they were out of boneless and they needed to thaw.... so they just left out the boneless and handed off the food without telling anyone. They said we can come get the rest of the wings in 25 minutes, making for our third trip. Over two hours after they ordered their food, oh plus wingstops phone doesn't work. I'm sorry for this rant, this is just ridiculous. I know we didn't have to go out of our way and jump through hoops but people deserve their food. We have done many deliveries with this location and more often than not the wait is ridiculous. read more

I was hosting the Cowboy game and ordered online almost $300 with of wings the night before so that we could get wings delivered the next day. I even called after I ordered to confirm. I patiently waited as the manager located the order, about an hour. She assured me it would be ready. Wings were delivered on time, but they forgot EVERY SINGLE DIP and veggie sticks and we paid for 12 extras! I had to leave the party I was hosting to go 45 mins out of my way to pick up these dips and to end up now with soggy wings and fries. I complained to the manager who was there, who tried to appease me by throwing in some brownies (which were soft and delicious btw). Also, as I was waiting, a man came in saying he got a message that his wings were ready. Turns out they never even made them. No apologies to the guy, they just asked him if he still wanted them and if not, to cancel his order. The man just walked out. I left a message for the GM, who later emailed me and offered me a free 6 piece for my troubles...wow, what a slap in the face. I contacted the person above him and I was texted a an offer for 25% off my next purchase. I just replied with "thanks". I should have said no thanks. Shame on you Wingstop! Your wings are delicious, but it'll be awhile before I can ever step foot into your establishment. Thank god Pluckers is just as delicious and you can call ahead! read more

When I paid I noticed a bag ready and after 30 minutes of waiting and noticing people who ordered after me leaving I asked if that bag was mine. The staff member confirmed it was mine. The offered me a "come back and you will get your next order free" that's bull. I was 30 minutes away and don't have time to come back. They should've just refunded my whole order.
