This place has come a long way. They have good, consistent servers (low turnover) and therefore the service has been very good. The food has been excellent for what it is. I'm here to tell you that their double cheeseburger is one of the best I've had, certainly the best in Waxahachie. Consistency is king with this place. Best place to sit down and hang out with friends and family. You get your comfort food, good music, and a television with a game on. The wings are always fresh with that nice little crunch. They have a pretty good selection of sauce or dry rub. We usually get the original hot and chipotle BBQ with a random flavor here and there. Haven't had one we didn't like but we have some favorites. The chips and dip trio is actually good. We usually get fried pickles but our friend ordered the dip trio and that guac was actually really good! WILD BURGERS, is Buffalo Wild Wings virtual burger joint .. it's located on DoorDash as far as I know , and you won't know that you are picking up your burger from Buffalo Wild Wings because although DoorDash provides the address . It doesn't show that it's inside of Buffalo Wild wings . Nothing too fancy or spectacular. The Burger was a regular burger, I've had better . But I've also had worse. The potato wedges were my favorite. This food is great especially for a football filled Sunday. The restaurant was serving many families lunch while patrons watched football games from across the country. The carpet was dirty and needed a good sweeping or vacuuming. The tables were being bussed as people left and the dining area emptied. We were initially Made to wait an extended time only to have our server realize he took us to the wrong table. Another young man then came over and took our order and changed a tv to play a game my husband wanted to see while other patrons watched other games. This was a pleasant experience and the food was pretty flavorful. I just want to say that this is the closest location to us and we come here, here and there. Usually we don't ever have issues. The host is always friendly and the waitress/waiter are always great with making sure we are good. Especially this one server who's ALWAYS there it seems. Slightly older guy with the ponytail. He's great. Today, May 5, 2024 at 2 pm. We walked in and we didn't get greeted. The guy who was the host for today (this Hispanic looking guy who obviously didn't want to be there) was absolutely rude to us for no reason. He didn't want to sit us in a booth even after we asked because he said "well I just sat those other people for the waitress". Okkaaayy I'm not understanding why you couldn't sit us. So regardless we asked to please be seated in the booth since we have a big family with small kids. I asked an employee what the guys name was and she said "I'm not sure ". umm okaaayy... again. It was the service we got from the host and on top of that when we went to "wipe" our table, he got a towel that was soaked and legit just covered the table with water, even the menus were all soaked. Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant in my life. Service was abysmal at best. We only saw our server twice before literally begging other servers to go get her and still we barely saw her. I would've understood if it was busy but there were only 6 tables on the floor. We ordered APPETIZERS and got stale queso with the rest of our order which came 30 minute after ordering. Before we got our food the table behind us got up to leave and heard us complaining and said they had the same complaint, they told us good luck as they left. When we finally did get our food some of the order was wrong and we couldn't tell our server because she was nowhere to be seen. As I ate my food I found multiple hairs in my wings. Naturally with all of these negative things happening we asked to speak to a manager. This was obviously a mistake because he acted worse than our server. We told him all of our complaints, he never said apologized for the service, the only thing he said was "What do you want me to do about it". 2 of the people I was eating with up and left because of how angry they were. We begged for our tickets for 30 minutes and when we finally got them my friend paid with cash and the server WOULD NOT give the correct change back even after telling her we wanted it back. The food was awesome, the atmosphere was lit. The customer service was horrible. I'm a Marine, and as always I jokingly ask for a military discount, regardless. The manager Christian came up and did a little thing on the register. After he left, the cashier told us the price...it was only -.30 cents. We all looked at one another and laughed. We didn't argue about it...we just got our food and left. The presentation of the food was impeccable...but when I called to speak to the manager to address this issue, Christian was super rude to me, almost like I was the one that I was wrong. I felt disrespected and patronized. All I have to say with all that good...that made my whole experience bad. My first time there was going to be my last time. But something made me call this morning and talk to the General Manager Jason Williams. He was a very pleasant man and apologized to me. He was very compassionate and I felt appreciated. Every time I come here there is no hostess at the door. So be prepared to stand there for at least 5 minutes before being greeted. Just ate at Buffalo Wild Wings in Waxahachie and a huge water bug fell from the ceiling while we were eating and landed on our table. Waitress finally killed it after a few minutes. Manager came over and did not seem concerned. Said the exterminator came in the day before and sprayed the wall and was not supposed too. I guess they only wanted to kill them in certain areas!! My wife has a phobia of water bugs and had a panic attack. Manager finally comped the food but not the drinks which were twice as much.
