They have updated the bar and the dining room. The wood is lighter. The bar doesn't smell like old beer any more. We get there at 11:30. By noon, there's already a long wait. Service is friendly. The chicken wings are a top three rendition. We always order ours crispy. They stopped serving celery on the side a while ago. As a purist, I bring a ziplock bag of celery sticks. I say raise the price of an order of wings by 50 cents and serve celery again! The waffle fries are great. They have a surprisingly diverse menu with a big selection of beers. There are desserts, but I have never been disciplined enough to save room. It's cash only. This is the platonic ideal of a burger and wing joint. Set the celery sticks free!

Still consistently delicious. Large meaty wings and drummies, connected. Lots of sauce, to the point when you break them apart, there's a lot of splatter (I think I hit a kid with some sauce about two tables away). Service very good, prices comparable to other wing places. I asked my waiter how many pounds they sold on Super Bowl Sunday. He mentioned "between 18 and 19 thousand pounds!!!" Wow, double wow. Vast majority are ordered in advance and this year they cut off orders about a week before the game. This trip was a solo run for me. My wingmen were nowhere to be found. 4 very sloppy stars

Now it seems to have nothing to do with Korean fried chicken at this location. I swear it's not even double fried (an essential requirement to be considered Korean fried chicken... ) as my boneless soy garlic came out so soggy -after waiting 20 minutes. The french fries? They were at least 4 minutes away -from being finished frying, when they were served to me. By the time I got out of the car and I opened them up. I'm like "these french fries are raw?!" I couldn't even enjoy the french fries on the ride home. It's now an hour later. I'm back home in NYC and having to complete the cooking of my meal in the air fryer... So angry.

Bb.q does a fantastic job. But don't be tardy with ordering food here: more than once, .I have tried ordering wings here toward the end of the day, and was told "we've run out of of chicken," I get that, because it's good and popular, but how goes a CHICKEN place run out of CHICKEN a few hours before closing? That said, we did preorder (and paid for) wings on Super Bowl Sunday, and had no issues whatsoever. Although we opted to pick them up around 3 pm, to avoid any potential lack of chicken and had no problems.

I was succumbed with darkness by 4:30pm this Monday night - But this lazy boy had himself a date with a bum from beyond the territory of the said gold rush. The rivers of gold flow into warm and idyllic ocean waves - of which these beach bums carve with wooden board. I, a northern east coast civilian, don't know much about this lifestyle. But, isn't it craved by us all, just as the interstellar shrieks for our correspondence? Anyways the wintry night of winter in which the greek gods of sport bless our idle days and lonely nights with a game called football, played with your mitts, of course. Monday nights, in particular, can lead to a feeling of seclusion for the majority of Americans this time of year. And that is why in 1970, the NFL decided to take advantage of our starved souls... looking for munchins, bunchins, and a couple collar crunchins. Lazy Boy's got the munchin, it's got a small bit of bunchin on a Monday night, and football brings the crunchin. I stumble into said saloon with a perfect gait and with unquestionable balance. I could sniff and snoop the color green beyond the ash. The air was filled also with moistness on this arid dry wintry night. DWP. Downtown White Plains, where a soul doesn't vanish but nor does a soul enlighten here. In a purgatory state - you stand. No flotation and no sinkage. Content and convenient. Mild and mannered. All is alright in the Plains and sometimes, alright is enough. You know what else was enough? These wings. Got a few orders of diverging and converging flavors. But, as the voters agreed upon, and as did I... the Lemon pepper jawns are the money makers here. True tang that wooda had me acting up all zesty and such if I had less self control. With the homie present I reeled it in. Peeled back 20-30 wings, watched a lil' foozball and called that ish a night. Couple Abe Lincolns with modified dumpsters def wanted to extend our night but ain't know foxcatcher so I hit em' with a ka-chow, crop dusted em' and said smell ya later. But really, that gassy dispersion hit em' quick and they were actually smelling me. I took a whiff myself. The lemon pepper did me justice. My rear view imagination had me envisioning them impressed by my odor as I wheeled on out. Big buck running a muck. As a buck I'll keep it one, if you and your broseph are looking to Joseph in a bar/restaurant vibe without the crowd on a Monday night with some real solid wing-on-bone than grab your holster, leave the pistol at home outta laziness/safety and enjoy your time. In this life, time is not infinite. That's it for LB at the LB Saloon, partners. Ka-Chow. You know what comes after that... *sniff*

CravWings on Central Park Ave is a perfect example of "don't let the size or simplicity fool…read moreyou"--because this spot is putting out BIG flavor from a small, no-frills setup. I ordered 6 sweet chili double-fried wings, 6 Cajun double-fried wings, and Cajun fries--and let me tell you... the chicken came out hot, crispy, and worth the wait! Now speaking of the wait--you're looking at about 20-30 minutes, and yes, they will tell you that upfront. But honestly, that's because they're double frying everything fresh to order. The sweet chili wings had that perfect sticky, flavorful glaze and not soaked or swimming in sauce like other places. The Cajun (dry rub) wings came through with a nice seasoned kick without punching you in the face. And the fries? The fries were well-seasoned, and they were very tasty, good even - however, they could have been a bit more cooked for my taste. I like when French fries have a bit of crisp to them. I will admit, I was stuck for a few minutes trying to figure out what style of fries I wanted. They've got several different flavor options for fries and they all were calling my name ... they're not playing around Let's be clear--this is grab-and-go only. No seating, no fancy decor, no Instagram wall... just you, your food, and a serious decision not to eat it all in the car before you get home If you care more about flavor than frills and don't mind waiting a little for food done right, CravWings is absolutely worth it. I'll be back... probably sooner than I should because honestly, I want to try more of their flavors in chicken as well as the different flavors in fries.
