Hubby and I went to this restaurant today for lunch and we enjoyed it. The tables were decorated nicely with poinsettias and the bathroom was cleaned immaculately. First the good: Food was ok. Not bad but nothing special. Live music on a Friday night was good. Everything seemed clean & comfortable. But only 2 stars because service was very slow, and we were sitting outside for what we thought would be a quick family dinner. My husband, daughter & I all ordered one drink and one sandwich, and while we were waiting an unexpectedly long time for our food, our waitress came out and told us we had to give a credit card FIRST to be sure we wouldn't eat and then leave without paying. She actually said that to us. I was flabbergasted and very hungry, so we gave our card, but I found this very offensive and rude. They hadn't said it when they seated us, or when our drinks were served (one beer and two soft drinks), and this was not a counter service restaurant. We both ordered the cilantro wings, a fave of mine! I also ordered the chicken tacos and my fiancé got the spinach artichoke dip, which was absolutely amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed my tacos, the ingredients were fresh, the tacos were so tasty and delicious and I literally think they were some of the best tacos I've had. I am a fan of the service as well! Chipotle bowl was very good, lots of flavor, love the fried bananas on top. I wish the pieces of steak were thicker, it seemed more like roast beef than steak and it It was covered in a heavy sauce and at the bottom of the bowl. We came here with a large group after an event setup. Reservations were made so there were no issues with as many people as we had. The server was great and kept up with all the drinks and orders. The staff put on the Phillies/Braves NLDS playoff game at our request, which was great. Go Phils! In terms of food, the wings and Kobe burger were awesome. We ordered buffalo and cilantro lime wings and they were dynamite! Then the staff brought out some of their other wings for us to try. No charge at all, just something extra for the table. I used a 3rd party delivery service and ordered their "Jumbo wings" nothing jumbo about these and nothing good either. I honestly feel sick if anything. They were small, overcooked, dry, and frankly tasted old. Felt like they were old and thrown in fryer to warm up and tossed with sauce. Very expensive for what they give you too. Wow what a find! Happen to be in white plains on a Football Sunday afternoon running some errands and found this place in yelp. At first, I thought I was lost. It definitely has more of a bar feel than Mexican restaurant. However, we sat down among the dozen TVs, each with a different game, and found out HALF PRICE APPS and beers during games. Win! I haven't been there in a while but my friends and I came by for drinks. I ordered a vanilla milk shake. YUM! They gave me a lot which is cool. My friends ordered beers and so on. They have a variety of beers, wines and more drinks to choose from. The food still taste great! We just ordered French fries and it was freshly made. The fries tasted nice and crisp! But from previous visits the burgers were great. If you want American food or come in for happy hour this is the place to go. It's well known in town. There is a parking lot attached so parking is not an issue. It's a nice place to go on a warm sunny day to sit outside and eat with friends.
