Huge conincidence? I think not. Fakes. With the birth of my son coming up I decided to splurge a little and get my lashes done and my eyebrows tinted at this establishment after reading the ONLY 5 reviews they had. So upon first impression, the salon was clean although the room where they do lashes is very tight with very little air circulation. I'm leaving a 1 star review because the inner corner of my left eye was glued shut so Nosheen roughly yanked my lids apart , it was so very painful! That area would not stop itching afterwards. Secondly, some of the lashes were stuck together at the base which gave a very stiff unnatural look in the end. To be honest, I've had mink lashes before, they feel soft like fur, these felt like hard plastic. The inner corner where she tore my lids apart started to itch and didnt stop itching until all the lashes came off which was, GET THIS... FOUR DAYS LATER!!!!! WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!!! Because of the constant itching where my lids were stuck together and heaviness in the spots where the lashes were glued together, those areas started to fall out when I would itch. iI ended up with part of my lashes being long and full in some areas and short and bare in others.. I looked like a maniac 2 days in, and four days later, I just removed the little that was left. I paid $113 for the mink lashes and eyebrow tinting and exactly 4 days later, it looked like I never did a thing to my face... waste waste waste.... Better spend your money elsewhere, somewhere where the beautician backs up her work... You don't want to end up having a big event and spending this kind of money on something optional and be upset in the end... thankfully, I wasn't doing anything grand... I went back to the salon so she could see the difference after 4 days, and after spending over $100 she offered to do my eyebrows as recourse.... a $10 service.... I politely declined. I explained that I spent a lot and expected to get at least 2 weeks worth.. or certainly more than 4 days!!! She blankly looked at me and said, "nothing I can do" Yeah... wow... work not backed up at all... I asked Nosheen if she could at least give me HALF of the value of the in the form of a $35 credit next time I do my lashes, I'll give her a chance to fix it and still pay, and she still said no! I was very flexible and willing to give a second chance... and still nothing.. its a bit frustrating when someone doesn't stand by their work, esp. if they feel like they do good work... So even though I live close by, this will be the only money she makes from me... I have 5 sisters and many friends. I will not be recommending this place to any of them or returning. She has lost plenty of business because of her inability to be reasonable with a dissatisfied customer who was willing to give this business a second chance. For $35, she lost a whole lot of future business... not very smart. $113 later I have nothing but regrets and disappointments. Lashes were stuck together, lids were stuck together... all because the work was... to be frank... sloppy... otherwise my lids wouldn't have been stuck together. Never again. I usually get a pedicure , and do my own nails bc my job makes my nails a mess anyway . So today was a treat. Well it turned to an (hour +) nightmare instead. The girl got the red dip all over my hands, cuticles and my nails looked like chiclet gum. Thick is an understatement.. I had to ask the nail tec to thin them out numerous times and clean my cuticles and fingers .. while the owner/ manager gave me an attitude and told me it was my nails .. and I must have never gotten dip before ! I work in a salon , and have numerous times not to mention the color was everywhere on my fingers and palms . She didn't like my comment and spoke about be in her native language with an attitude the whole time .. finally after having filed my skin (yes you heard me correctly) and nipping at my skin with the cuticle nipper ... here's the "beautiful" job they were satisfied with ....needless to say I'm not And they charged me full price . Writing this as I'm sitting in the chair for the second time in 1 week. I was a new customer coming…read morein right before my honeymoon for a full gel set. I was told this costs $70. Reasonable. I arrived and was told the tips are an additional $10. This didn't make sense to me but I agreed and got the tips. (Crystal tip gel set is also $70 so you tell me where the issue is). Btw I had to ask him 4 times to file my nails straight because every single one was crooked on an angle. My nails ended up costing me $105 for a full set with 4 nail designs. Whatever. It was my honeymoon I didn't want to argue, I just figured I'd never come back. 3 days later my middle nail separated and popped off. The next day, my thumb nail came off. The following day, 3 nails on my opposite hand separated and cracked off. Photos attached. I called and told them what happened In less than a week- I was advised no manager was in the shop (on a Saturday..?) and to come in when I got home. I sat down in the Salon and was asked to pick my color. I showed the girl doing my nails and the owner what happened, along w timestamped photos of what happened and when. The owner goes on telling me it's time for a fill in. Now anyone who's ever had nail sets on knows that you don't get a fill every week. I barely had any growth as it is. I wanted my nails fixed and that's it. He told me- well we can fix the broken nails but to change the polish on the other 5 nails would cost $30. I said absolutely not - I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake. I have no problem leaving a generous tip for helping but I'm not paying $30 for polish. That's absurd. I said just fix the nails and I'll have them polished elsewhere. So he got on the phone for a few minutes and tells me $20 is the best they can do. I said no thank you and he scoffed back at me with nothing else to say. I don't know how this place has good reviews- the owners are ripping everyone off and nickel/diming every person who walks in the door. Will NOT be returning and will be advising others to stay away. It's a shame because the other techs do a decent job from photos I've seen. I hope the owners read this and realize what went wrong here. I'm a business owner myself and I would never treat a single client of mine this way. EDITED TO UPDATE: and of course- after just getting fixed on Monday; one of those same nails broke off. Again. I've never experienced this. EVER. And they charge top dollar? Crazy.
