Cheese bread & pizza!! The sauce is amazing too!

Amazing Pizza! I will be going back. 10 out of 10. The owners are awesome too, very kind and greeting and I wanted to try their cheese bread and they gave it to me on the house! The Prices are very reasonable swell. I'd have paid more even if they just asked. It's hard to find a place like this these days. Dont pass it up!!

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner! Ah how I love me some KF... See.... What I did there?? Rewind. Restart. Let's try this again. Winner. Winners (Pizza) is for dinner!! "You've seen one, you've seen em' all." Well apparently to my wife, this just isn't the case. We have our 2 go-to pizzas places that we go back and forth on depending on how much we want to spend and which one sounds best that particular evening. Well one night while I'm out and about running errands, the ol' wife calls and says, "I want pizza! Let's try Winners." I proceeded to pull the phone away from my ear, look down at down at my phone and yep, it was indeed my wife on the the other line telling me she wanted to try a different pizza place... So, I said my normal go-to line, "You buy, I'll fly" (as if it really matters; what's mine is hers and what's mine will be auctioned off if I don't do exactly what she says) haha, j/k..maybe...not really. So, she places the order online and I patiently waited in the car until it was time for pickup. (Approximately 20 mins or so). We ordered our normal pepperoni and pineapple (yes, I know pineapple on a pizza, the Italian grandma's are all shaking their fists with disgust) And a Dinner salad. (Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, mushrooms, pepperoncini's & mozzarella cheese). And just like the name of this place, our dinner that night deserved its spot in the 'Winners' circle. The Pizza was cooked beautifully, the salads toppings were a perfect mix and the guy behind the counter was friendly and professional. I think it's safe to say we now have a new pizza spot to throw in the mix when we are craving America's favorite food. So no matter what the other reviewers say about this place (I'm talking to you Steve A.) ... I think these guys are straight up Winners!!

This is the closest thing to a real NYC small pizzeria around. The Crust is legit. Buy the slice, or buy the pie. Can't miss!

We arrived around 6:00 p.m., and I'm not sure if they take reservations. If you want to avoid the long wait, I'd suggest arriving before 5:30 or after 7:00. The good news is that there are plenty of stores around, so it's easy enough to walk around and kill some time while we waited. We were seated at a patio table right around the end of the estimated wait time. Our server was attentive and helpful, and we got our water and orders in quickly. The food followed soon after. Everything was fresh and tasty! We've been to quite a few Italian restaurants, and while we've enjoyed them all, this one struck us as having the most homemade feel. There's something comforting about food that tastes like it came straight out of someone's kitchen rather than a restaurant kitchen. Definitely worth the wait, and we'll be back for more!

My bf and I both couldn't get used to the combo even after having all of them. We'd describe it as not good but not bad. We'd try the peach and burrata bread next time~ Calabrese Pizza 4.5/5 -SO BOMB. Seems like a regular pepperoni pizza but it's so juicy and flavorful specially bc the slices are SO THIN! It did not make me feel bloated even after eating all of it! A must try. Nothing like a regular pepperoni pizza from pizza chains. Tagliatelle aka cacio e pepe 5/5 -I wish I got my own plate because this was that good, I believe this is the first time I've tasted authentic cacio e pepe and I understand the hype now. We went in on a Monday @3PM and it was still busy but no wait line! We got seated right away and the waiter was so helpful with introducing the menu. I wish I got a picture of the inside too because it's a small intimate interior that rly makes you feel like you're in Italy.

The menu has some interesting options, the food came out quickly, and the service was very good. Quick take: Get the Chilean Sea Bass special if it is available, the homemade pastas, and the Prosciutto Rucola e Grana Pizza. Skip the meatballs. Know that nearly all the pasta is made in-house, while the spaghetti and penne are imported from Italy (if I'm remembering correctly) The Chilean Sea Bass special was the standout and absolutely worth ordering when offered. Since specials change, I would ask about it before getting too attached, but this would be my first choice. Everyone I was with agreed it was standout and wished they ordered it. The pastas are another strength. I do not like cream, and the server told me they could remove those ingredients, which gave me considerably more flexibility with the menu. It is also worth knowing that the spaghetti and penne are the one exception to the house-made pasta because they are shipped in from Italy. The cocktails were creative and interesting, although almost too sweet for me. Service was friendly and efficient. The only real drawback is that the dining room feels cramped, so this is not the place to go if you need a lot of personal space. Overall, Nonna delivers interesting Italian food, excellent homemade pasta and good service.

We were initially seated outside next to a family with two young kids who were pretty loud. Totally understandable (we have kids too), but we were hoping for a more relaxed, cozy night. Our waitress was great from the start. After ordering the fritto misto calamari (which was good), we asked if we could move inside since it was pretty hot out. I do wish we had been seated inside from the beginning, especially for a birthday dinner. Once inside, the experience completely changed for the better, much more intimate and exactly what we were looking for. We also got a red wine from the Pursued by Bear line (don't remember the exact one, but it had a bold bear on the label) -- smooth, full-bodied, and went really well with the pasta. I got the cacio e pepe and my wife ordered the strozzapreti. Hers was definitely the standout -- the pasta was soft and the red sauce had a lot more flavor than I expected, especially since I don't usually go for red sauce. My cacio e pepe was still good, just a bit simpler. For dessert, we had the vanilla panna cotta and Nonna's cake -- both solid and a nice way to end the night. Overall, a really good experience. The service and indoor ambiance definitely made the night.

We were attending a celebration of life not far from this amazing restaurant and since we were dressed up I felt like enjoying dinner out and remembering what my co worker mentioned I thought let's do it. Though it was a Saturday evening and we didn't have a reservation I called asked if they were accepting walk ins, a brief hold and the hostess said when did you want to come in and I stated I could be there in 10 minutes-she said she could seat us. I was so excited that we were going to be able to dine and let me tell you it was a truly wonderful delight. My co worker and fellow paisan was so right and why the hell did I wait years to try this place. We were seated at a 2 top set up very elegantly and our server David was quick to greet us and fill us in on the nightly specials and his favorite dishes. We started with a Aperol Spritz and a Lemoncello Spritz (by the way Rustico makes the Lemoncello in house). Great start to cleanse our palate, complimenting the bruschetta and I have to say I haven't had anything better than their bruschetta short of our trips to Italy. I went with several nightly specials such as the grilled octopus and calamari salad, very tasty and incredibly prepared. Followed by the Almond crusted Sole, my wife enjoyed the house made tortellini in a light cream and pancetta sauce. David our server was very attentive not only to just our table but the nearby tables as well, friendly smiling and so helpful, an important quality in a server rarely found these days. Our entrees were incredibly delicious and portions were good size, the decor and ambiance very familiar and reminded me of some of the ristorante's we dined at in Italy. Very simple but elegant, very comfortable. I had the pleasure of meeting Roberto who seemed to be the key person to the operation, I wanted to compliment our evening and share our wonderful experience with him. He was so nice and friendly as well. The menu had so many great choices and the nightly specials change often that I just need to come back again and again to continue enjoying Rustico.
