Lanes are nice. Bathroom stays clean. They have a party room if you want to bring a group. The shoes don't smell. There's a small arcade and a pro shop. The bartenders are friendly and fast. Food wise I've only experienced a party platter that was deep fried everything. Constantly popping with league bowling. Sometimes there's music. Our parent company had their Kickoff Party here. Not gonna lie, the pics on Google didn't do this place full justice. While walking in it does give you a bit of nostalgia of the old-timey bowling alley, however the technology has been updated. We had it in the event space where the karaoke area, bar and pool tables were. The bar staff were fantastic and kind to us. I played a couple rounds of pool which took a number of tokens to release the balls. They have a small arcade with one pinball machine, some shooting games and a basketball game. I didn't bowl because the last time I did I was so sore the next day and I didn't want to feel like that on my flight back to the east coast. But I did watch others bowl and they were having a great time. The "cosmic" bowling experience happened with the main lights off and the strobe lights waving around. Very nice and spacious bowling alley! My friend and I went yesterday which was a Sunday afternoon, there is plenty of parking in a large parking lot, and I saw they also have a diner attached! My friend and I rented the lane for one hour, and we had allot of fun. The balls were not greasy and they were easy to handle, and there were no glitches or issues with our game or playing in our lane. The facility is clean and it was fairly packed with a tournament going on, but there were still a handful of lanes free. Staff stood along the walls behind us watching with nonsmiling faces which at first made me wonder if they were monitoring all the lanes for behavior, but I think they stand there to watch in case of any glitches so they can help quickly? Either way it was a little intimidating at first wondering about it but then I ignored it and just continued to have fun. Would definitely come back and play here again! read more

We had a holiday party for my office at Winnetka bowl in December 2024. It was extremely economical and we had a great time! The pizza and tacos were great. Customer service was very good and the place was clean and decorated for the holidays. The bowling scorekeeping machines are easy to use. This is the best traditional bowling place! And it's clean with a huge parking lot. Forget all those frills from the fancy places that don't even oil their lanes well. I've gone here several times to do some bowling plans. If anyone has tried bowling with a group of people the same day plans are made, they know how hard it is to find a good bowling spot that actually has available lanes. I definitely recommend calling ahead to ask about open lanes as there were a few times that lanes would be fully booked or closed due to individuals from a pro league. It's especially hard once 5pm rolls in as the evening hours are packed with people trying to go bowling. If it's the weekend, it's guaranteed that most lanes are booked for the rest of the night already. Luckily, my girlfriend and I choose to play some billiards and entertain ourselves if we don't hit the jackpot but it can get disappointing. Price wise, I think it's alright but still on the pricier side. It is definitely easier to manage if you take advantage of the sales and specific deals they have going on, usually advertised. What's not to like about an occasional trip to a bowling alley? My dad was turning 86 and he said, "No Party!" I said I'd take him bowling, have a beer and slice of pizza and he agreed. I love this place so much that I drive all the way from Santa Monica three times a week just to bowl here. The prices are great, and you can also find plenty of specials to choose from. the leagues are very competitive but overall everyone is friendly so anyone can join a league The lanes are extremely well taken care of, the approaches aren't sticky, the oil patterns are consistent, and overall, everything is maintained the best. It's an ideal place for bowlers who take the game seriously, but they also do a great job accommodating families, kids, and casual outings. They have good house balls/shoes and plenty of options for kids, like bumpers and ball ramps, so everyone can have fun. I also really appreciate the staff here, theyre the best. Bevin, Kayla, Bryan, Justin, Sabrina, Mia, Caleb, Mo, Fransisco, Christian ,Colby, and Trac (just to name a few) are always friendly, professional, and genuinely make the experience better every time. they're Solid people who i just like being around...Theyre also really good bowlers, which sometimes feels like free lessons for someone trying to get better =) The crowd is great too, it's a good mix of serious bowlers, league players, and people just having fun. I came here tonight with my daughter, a friend and her son. We got a lane for 1.5 hours for $65 and that included shoes and up to 6 people. We got an end lane which was actually awesome. There was a lot of room for the kids to dance around. We got hungry during bowling and went to the snack shack. We ordered a hot dog and pizza and they heat it up and bring it to you so you can keep bowling. This was awesome. We were able to bowl almost 2 games and the kids had a blast. After bowling we ate at the diner which was convenient and the food was ok. They have a small arcade and pool tables which is nice. Came here for years and spent a lot of money in this place. My group and I would take up about 4 lanes and were never any trouble (didn't smoke/ vape in the lanes, wore our bowling shoes, and kept to ourselves for the most part. Our night ended abruptly the last time we came here due to one of my group members trying to take a picture along the side of the last lane. Without warning our lanes were shut off for the rest of the night. Considering I hear other groups get multiple warnings for breaking other rules I thought we would get the same, but nope. Instead, they chose to be pity and not turn our lanes back on, and we went home. Really disappointed in the front desk staff considering over the years we had to deal with their mood swings of having bad days at work/having bad jobs. Sheer pettiness and weird behavior for people who have been loyal and given business every Monday. After 4 years of coming here with a group of 12+ every Monday and giving this place business, the staff, specifically Mia and Justin, they wrongfully kicked us out for walking down the side path next to the bowling lanes. Gave us no warning and immediately kicked us out when we have seen people throw multiple balls down lanes a few times a night. There have been people who walk down ACTUAL lanes and just get a warning. Never seen anyone kicked out at our time there, until us. The people who have given this place business and no courtesy or loyalty was shown to us WHATSOVER. I've taken my boys here (3 & 5) a few times over this past year and we've had nothing but great experiences. Once or twice we've come here and the wait time was a lot longer than expected (usually due to league games going on) but we always end up getting a lane much faster than originally projected. The other customers here are always great. They are always cheering on my sons as they bowl and commenting how great they are. Everyone has been incredibly respectful and encouraging. My sons have, a few times, said how they like the other bowlers here. Something they haven't told me about other bowling lanes we've taken them too. In all, Winnetka Bowl is a great place to bring the family. The atmosphere is welcoming, the place is kept clean, and the parking is ample. There's really no down side. not to mention, during the summers, they participate in the unlimited bowling plan where you pay one fee and your kids can bowl as much as you want (on weekdays). Prices are reasonable compared to other bowling places in the valley (like matador bowl) and the lines weren't too long for a Saturday night. You can pay per game or per hour and now you can even reserve lanes online! Sweet! Aside from the bowling lanes, they also have a mini arcade as well as a bar with kareoke, a snack bar, and a whole restaurant attached! It's an all stop shop which we appreciate. The snack bar was surprisingly delicious. Their hot dog was identical to Costco dogs and fairly cheap. $3.75 for it and the same for the nachos. My husband got a pizza and it tasted so fresh! It's been years (maybe 10) since my last time bowling here and it has been completely redone. With it's new modern look and bright colors it is definitely a welcoming place. You can even change the screen to a fun theme. I always enjoyed going here with a group of friends and this time was no exception. The staff was friendly and got us to our games quickly. Hands down my favorite bowling alley. I've played in the Phil Am league for a few seasons in the past and it was always really fun. Lanes usually taken care of (as far as oil goes, not too much/little). Definitely the only lanes I go to in the valley. That being said, they often have a lot of leagues and events so it's pretty crowded most days and can be hard to get a lane. read more
