Christy is amazing, she helped me find my perfect gown. The selection was wonderful which I didn't expect in a small boutique. She patiently worked with me to find my ideal dress during two visits. Fist by myself to scope out dresses and one with my mom, aunt and uncle. All the dresses looked beautiful on, but Christy made me focus on finding the perfect dress where my creative mind would not want to make any adjustments. Three things: 1. Thanks to a friend, I was lucky enough to be directed to Winnie Couture when I started shopping for a wedding dress. And thanks to Winnie Couture, I was lucky enough to be given Christy as my AMAZING AMAZING stylist. Never have I had the pleasure of working with a vendor with more care, patience, and style than Christy. From browsing day to the day I picked up the dress, Christy took me and my bridal party flawlessly through the entire experience, taking care of my absolute every need. Christy, those five stars are for you...thank you so much! 2. Now, onto the wedding dress. In a word: perfect. The experience of picking it out (in which I was allowed to try on as many as I wanted to, with no one blinking an eye!) was perfect. The means of ordering it was perfect (I was measured to a T, the dress arrived when it was scheduled to). The receipt of the dress was perfect (the quality was immaculate), and the process of touching it up was perfect (the alterations were very reasonably priced and done promptly and beautifully). She was amazing, made the shopping experience wonderful! Everything about my experience here was so wonderful! I spoke with a consultant the day before who gave me style names to check out on the website based on what I said I liked. The dresses I selected online were already pulled when I arrived in the store, and my consultant Monika listened to what I liked in dresses and pulled more based on our conversation. Im not going to lie, I went to 3 different places before going to Winnie and didn't feel like I like anything at all, and I didn't think there would be anything I would ever like. I said yes to the dress this past Sunday with Monika! Although we had only talked once before my appointment, I felt very comfortable and felt like she knew exactly what my vision was. She had done her research on my venue, and knew the feel of the wedding so I did not have to spend time trying to explain it to her. This place is great. I did not end up getting my gown here, but my 2nd choice dress was at Winnie. -Great selection -Monika was wonderful to work with and made everything VERY clear with regards to what we could change on the dress, pricing, timing, etc. -They have a really good selection of different types of gowns in varying budgets. -They're not afraid to discuss the pricetag and are very transparent. They understand that you're there to find a gown you love, but also have limitations. -The boutique is lovely! It was a great place to take my mom, sister, etc. They all had a nice place to sit with bottled water where they could wait to see me in the various gowns I tried on. -Another perk, Winnie's appointments are 1.5 hours....while every other shop I went to only gave 1 hour. You can also take photos of the Winnie gowns because it's a private label collection, which helps a lot in the decision making process and wedding planning. I highly recommend Winnie, and also to ask for Monika, who was really great to work with and you could tell she knew what she was doing. Just picked up my dress this week!!!! I had been waiting to review WInnie until I saw my dress and boy was I in love as soon as I saw it .. I should say her ... her name is Evelyn! The boutique is so cute, decorated in girly furniture and shag carpet with dresses galore. They take you to a small area where you and your family or wedding party can sit and enjoy your visit with you. Unlike David's Bridal and other salons that make you come out in front of the whole store, Winnie Couture makes it the intimate day it should be. I had my mom, auntie, grandmother, and maid of honor with me and it was perfect to have a private area to enjoy laughing and crying about the dresses. Gajaneh was my stylist, although I do not think she is there anymore, and she was great. She asked me what I liked, what I didn't and what I imagined the day being like. She was great at explaining different styles and options as well as helping me find what was right for ME! I already had Evelyn in my head but she showed me a ton of dresses that were similar and that I may also like. In the end I did pick Evelyn and ordered it mid March. I was told that the dress would be ready in September, but I got a call two weeks ago that it was done and I picked it up Wednesday. Monica helped me this time and was so great. She was friendly and she explained to me what to do if I needed alterations later on. The dress fit perfect and I took it home! I got a followup call Thursday asking me how the consultation and experience was and I gave them great scores .. I am so happy with my experience with Winnie Couture and would recommend them to anyone! Scheduled an appointment for a wedding dress fitting after work and I have to say - this place was great! The staff was friendly and they took care of your needs. I didn't feel rushed and felt that my opinion was taken into consideration. I was on my way to Saks Beverly Hills for my first round of appointments for trying on dresses and noticed this cute little place on Wilshire on the way. Saks seemed okay and I found an Oscar de La Renta that I really liked, but overall my time there was mediocre. Afterward, my mom, sister and I walked down to Winnie to check it out and maybe see if I could get an appointment. Oh my goodness, from that point on, my day only got amazing! They fit me right in, even being low-staffed. We were given a tour of the salon with the dresses in each area, each described by silhouette, price, fabric, etc. The ambiance of the salon was so inviting with separate areas for each bride and her entourage, shag carpeting, comfortable chairs, dimmable lighting and all. The main floor was great for walking in the dresses in high lighting with ample moving (and dancing...because every bride needs to be able to dance in her dress) hardwood floor space. The dresses had a great range of prices for couture--anything from $1000 to $14000 and customizable everything about any dress (beadings, trim, cut, "coverage," you name it). Monika was absolutely delightful. She took great care of me, my mom, and my sister. She desired to know my personality, my story with my fiance', and anything else that would help her find the perfect dress for me. Yay! I found my gown at Winnie Couture! I had a friend who was a Winnie Bride and she suggested that i check it out since i told her that I would be down the street at Panache the next day. I had a TERRIBLE experience at Panache. I felt very very rushed, they didn't pin me into the dresses, so they all looked like beaded bags, it was a mess. So when I was finished with that and feeling a little discouraged, I decided to take my friends advice and call Winnie Couture and see if they could fit me in. They did so IMMEDIATELY. I drove the 4 blocks down the street, parked, and they immediately got the champagne flowing, and allowed us to go all over the store to pick out dresses. The atmosphere is great. The salon is seriously beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly. Amanda was my consultant, and she was awesome. Super friendly, very knowledgable, and made the whole thing painless and fun! After about 8 or so dresses we found "the one". We got to take pictures and try on headpieces. They do not do in house alterations, so I can't comment on that. So so so grateful my friend recommended I go to Winnie Couture to find my wedding gown! Chelsey greeted my mother and I and immediately asked if we wanted champagne or water. She had the dresses from "My Closet" ready for me to try on and she recommended a few other gowns as well. I felt very comfortable with her and she was very attentive to the vision I was looking for. She must have read my mind because a dress I never would have picked myself ended up being the dress I said yes to!! I was concerned about a certain part of the dress not being my style but because each dress can be made custom she said the designer is able to make the changes to make this my dream gown. It was such a special moment for my mother and I to have in such an intimate space with Chelsey by our side. The temporary showroom is a little small only being two rooms but we had the entire bridal salon for the 2 hours and you couldn't really ask for anything better. After another salon canceled my appointment last minute I was forced to find another salon on very short notice. I was visiting LA from out of town, but my family, bridesmaids and wedding will be in LA so I wanted to start shopping for a dress in LA. I found Winnie Couture right here on yelp. I called to make sure they had dresses in my price range and they made room for me at the last minute! This was my first time ever trying on a wedding dress and Winnie Couture was the perfect place to go! The store itself is beautiful, chic and roomy. I bought my dress here a few weeks ago and had an amazing experience! I made an appointment in advance and looked at their dresses online to get an idea of what I wanted. We had the store all to ourselves on sunday which was great. The sales team was very friendly and we were never rushed. I am a bit larger than the typical sample size, but the consultant did everything she could to make me see how the dress would look when it fit me right. It really made the difference for me. I ended up purchasing one of the dresses I had found online, Delaliah. The dress was very reasonably priced and it turns out there was a sale and I got 10% off and a free veil! My mom ended up purchasing her mother of the bride dress there as well. The only compliant I had was they did not have a large selection of bridesmaid dresses. I said "yes" to a Winnie Courure gown about two weeks ago. When I originally came in the week before, the visit was my very first visit to any salon. I didn't expect to find anything I really loved, and just wanted to try on several gowns to see which silhouettes would look best on me. The ambiance of the shop is very warm and welcoming. My bridal consultant Allison was very cordial and gracious, and helped me pick out gowns after I showed her a few examples of what I thought I would like. The shop is not pretentious in any way; I will echo what a couple of reviewers said which is that even though the flagship shop is in Beverly Hills, everyone is very down to earth. I felt like I was a priority when I went both times. During my first visit, I tried on about 7 gowns, but I found one beautiful one that I was almost certain was my dress. Because it was my first time in a salon to shop for gowns, I was reticient to purchase on the spot, even though the black Friday sale was very enticing. I left the shop with my firned/future BM, but kept thinking about that dress. Allison displayed great customer service and follow-up skills even though she could not possibly know I was still thinking about the original dress. In the following week, I went to other bridal salons and tried on other dresses. The dresses looked great, but didn't have the same "wow" factor, plus the customer service I received at a few of these other ones left something to be desired ( I will be reviewing those on Yelp later). So I went back to Winnie Couture after a week to try on the dress again. The manager Amanda helped me as Allison was out. I received the same level of customer service in purchasing the dress; all of my questions were answered and Amanda provided candid responses to me inquiries on alterations and next step processes. I am excited to see and try on the custom dress in June 2014 when it is estimated to be ready. I hope that process goes as smoothly as the upfront sales process did. My only regret was that I was not able to take advantage of the subsequent holiday sales that would have provided a 20% discount of the dress! read more

Kate and I sat down as she asked questions about my fiance and our wedding. Kate made me feel as if I was the most important person in that store. She had my best friend(whom she allowed to walk around with one of their amazing tiaras on during the process) and I walk around and pull a few dresses we liked that I did not pick on-line. She made sure to look at my body type and recommend a few options for me. After about 8 dresses or so into the pick we decided it was time to start trying on........... Dress one amazing, dress two amazing, dress three even more amazing but then dress four, ohhhh dress four how I love you!! The dresses here are just beautiful and structured very well. Kate, Polet(LOVE POLET) and Ellie all gave me different options that I could do to customize the dresses to my vision, not anything that will " break the bank" if you have a descent budget. I went back and fourth between 2 dresses multiple times and the girls never seemed to be bother by that at all. They were helpful but never pushy, always making sure that I was vocal about what I was thinking, only offering opinions if asked and always had great suggestions. After almost 3 hours of laughing, playing around with options and getting to know one another I said YES TO THE DRESS! Kate(No longer there) Polet and Ellie, you girls made my dress shopping something I will never forget. Every girl should experience what I did while looking for "the dress". I have seen a few bad yelp reviews on the alteration side of Winnie Couture, its to my understanding they no longer offer alterations so those comments may need to be overlooked. I would not want that to turn any bride away from such amazing dresses and a great experience. This was the third shop I visited for my dress and this the best experience I had in any of the shops!! I honestly didn't think that such an upscale place would be able to work with my small $2,500 budget, but there was quite a selection! My consultant was Beverly and she was absolutely amazing! My bridal party and I got the royal treatment, taking our time picking dresses while enjoying some delicious champagne :-) I tried on a dress that fell in love with, but was torn between that one and one I had previously tried on; I told Beverly and showed her a pic of me in the other dress. She pulled a dress from her shop that was similar in style and shape so I could better compare and it worked! She helped get out of doubt and choose the dress I wanted with all the confidence! I'm so happy I came here I would absolutely recommend this shop to all my friends! Although I did not end up purchasing my dress here, I had the most wonderful experience trying on dresses with the help of Nina, who was one of the best consultants we had throughout the whole wedding gown shopping experience (7 salons and over 50 dresses tried on)! She was so warm and welcoming from the start, patient, and incredibly accommodating. Best costumer service hands down of any of the bridal salons that I visited, which included other high-end salons in San Francisco, as well as Beverly Hills. This salon was beautiful and organized, and all the samples were in great shape, which was definitely NOT the case at all the bridal salons. Right away they offer you water and champagne and sit you down on their very comfy couches to discuss details about your wedding and your search for the perfect gown. The whole process was seamless and they even let my appointment run a whole hour longer than it was supposed to, not once did I feel rushed at all. Basically, the whole experience with Winnie Couture in Beverly Hills, was incredible and I would recommend it for any future bride in search of the perfect dress, and a great shopping experience. Out of all the bridal stores I've been to, Winnie Couture is easily the best! A lot of it goes to Brittany who greeted my bridesmaids and I with champagne and made us feel comfortable right away. I didn't have a clear idea of the dress that I wanted so she showed me around the showroom and gave me different options. What I love about her is that she didn't put any pressure on me to get anything and made me feel at ease. I genuinely felt her excitement when I was trying on the dresses. It took several dresses before I finally found the one! Brittany was warm and bubbly and she created a wonderful experience for us. I had the most amazing wedding dress shopping experience, it was perfect! And while I didn't end up purchasing my dress from her, Nina was fantastic! She's super knowledgeable and has a great eye for what looks good on different body types! When you walk in it's like entering a wedding wonderland! Everyone is so friendly and the service is impeccable! Offering champagne doesn't hurt either The didn't over book so we had plenty of space, and plenty of attention not just from Nina but from the other women in the salon!
