    Prime rib sliders, slightly overcooked.

We went for happy hour. Every week night is a different special. All was good. The prime rib sliders are allegedly their most popular item. They were just ok. The Brussels sprouts were my favorite.

This place is big. The decor is world themed with maps and wine stuff and even some Lambert Airport themed items. I wound up there because the rum bar next door was closed. Our server was named Dawn and she was a lot of fun. First I ordered a tropical frozen drink. Then I ordered a flight (planes trains automobiles). My friend ordered a different flight (gaining altitude). I ordered a baked mac and cheese, and it was pretty good considering normally don't like baked mac and cheese. I hope to return to Winnie's soon; I had a wonderful time.

This place is amazing!!! We needed a place for a girls catch up. This place ended up being perfect. The attention to detail in terms of layout and design is outstanding. There are a variety of seating options: bar, high tops, and cozy couches. We tucked into one of the couches and got comfortable. A place with wine in the name should have a good selection of wine to choose from. There is an equally well curated cocktail menu as well. I went with a bubbles flight that was very good. I always need a little something if I'm drinking. We ordered prime rib sliders, cauliflower fritters, and the bacon dusted popcorn. The food was great but the stand out for me was the popcorn. Popcorn is my favorite go to snack and I probably should be in a support group because it's a problem..... We ordered the bourbon bread pudding for our sweet treat. This is probably in my top 5 in STL between Retreat and The Oyster Bar. We sat for a good while and our servers changed hands during our time. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

Girls' night at Winnie's Wine Bar felt like stepping into the coziest little hideaway made for slow sips and long chats. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and effortlessly charming -- the kind of place you instantly want to stay awhile. We ordered a couple glasses to try, shared small bites, and let the conversation carry the night. Everything felt thoughtful, from the wine selection to the perfectly paired snacks. It's ideal for catching up, celebrating something small, or just romanticizing an ordinary weeknight. The vibe is relaxed but still feels special, like you planned something intentional. If you're looking for a low-key but elevated spot for a girls' evening or date night, this is it. Safe to say, this one's going into our "let's go back soon" list.

This is the spot I've been to Winnie's a few times and I always leave saying great things about it. I love the wine flights. They are so fun and a way to try more than one wine on the menu. I would say the flights are pretty affordable for what you get too. The service is always great and the waiter/ waitress is very knowledgeable about the wines on the menu. The food is so good! The bread is divine and a must order. The prime sliders are very tender and flavorful, highly recommend. The bar is super quaint and located on the corner of a busier street but tucked away from the noise. They have their own parking lot or some street parking on the side street as well.

Really cute space with plenty of areas to gather with your friends. They have a nice variety of wines to select from, and a few cocktails!

Great hidden gem for cocktails/beer/wine. Expansive menu, great patio just off the street. Plenty of parking. Small bites menu, too, and desserts. Service was attentive and quick. Recommendations were spot on. Even though they were out of one of the drinks, they quickly helped us find something else. For sure will be back!

We've been to Winnie's before and love it. It's right down the street and super easy for us to get to. We love happy hour, they have killer deals on their appetizers. We will often get a few to share for dinner. The tuna is great, cheese board, brussel sprouts. I haven't had anything here that I don't like! The wine flights are super cool and unique how they present them, and honestly pretty budget friendly for good wine. Can't wait for the weather to warm up and get the golf cart over here! Perfect for a date night or drinks with friends.

Came here on a sat evening and brought our 9mo old and loved the place! Cozy and great food. It all came out quick too, kudos to the kitchen staff. We got the house bread and the garlic salt and softness was excellent. The Brussels sprouts were amazing, melt in your mouth. The scallops also a 5/5, sweet and buttery. The ahi tuna was mild and lots of textures. I'd say 5/5 as well. Eat this one first though as the flavors are not as bold as other dishes. The carrot cake was amazing! Right up there with the best in stl. A fluffy whipped cream cheese frosting and a layer of filling that popped with coconut flavor. Perfect balance of carrots throughout.

This place has all the right ingredients of a great wine bar. Perfect lighting, big chairs, table and bar seats, young professionals staff, great wine selection, and decent food options. Grabbed drinks and food before a show at the Fabulous Fox. Overall, we had a great time. What we drank / ate: - International Wine Flights: (4.25/5) We really like the wine flight options. Decent amount of wine overall with lots of tasting options. - Cauliflower Fritters: (3.5/5) Decent. Flavor was a bit "one note". - Prime rib sliders: (3.75/5) Beef was tender. Decent slider, but would have liked a bit more flavor punch in the sauce. - Sesame Encrusted Ahi Tuna: (4/5) Best bite of the night! Tuna was cooked a bit more than we were expecting... more of a medium/medium rare vs rare.

I can't believe it was my first time at Winnie's living so close to it?! The patio is amazing and dog friendly! I'm still dreaming about the bacon dusted popcorn. The fries were so crispy and delicious

I hesitate to review this place and let people in on the secret because it still seems to be underrated! Winnie's is a new-ish wine bar (but of course, has a full bar and a fantastic cocktail menu) adjacent to Hamilton's. What sets it apart are 1) its cozy decor (think gastropub style couches) and 2) its flights, which are themed, delicious, and huge pours! Also, because they are associated with Hamilton's, they have some excellent bites if you get a little hungry. The cauliflower bites are my favorite. Too it all off with some very engaging and knowledgeable servers, and you get one of my new favorite bars in the area!

I was here for a MeetUp group recently. There is parking near the patio but I can't remember how to get to it lol. Once inside, you are met with old world charm in a modernized world. Captivating vintage bulbs casually dangles about the venue providing an intimate environment. There's high table seating, bar seating as well as even casual couch seating. Our waiter was very attentive to our larger group and the food and drinks came out pretty fast. I ordered a Tuscan Spritz and the Prime Rib Sliders. The prime rib was not as tender as I thought it would be but the flavor was there and paired well with the horseradish crema. My friends ordered the carrot cake and cheesecake. I could not give over the porous texture of the cheesecake so I didn't try it. I did try the carrot cake and the nutmeg was a bit too overpowering for me. I'm not a huge fan of nutmeg to give you some perspective. The cakes were made for sharing so they were huge in size. I would love to come back on a warmer night in the spring or summer to check out their patio next!

Of course it didn't help that the kitchen was closed, so we had no food to go with it. The drink itself was smoky, so smoky that it overpowered the rest of the ingredients in the drink, although I tasted hints of violet. Overall, the experience could have been better. I'm willing to give this place another shot, but maybe at a different time when it's not so busy.

We arrived right on time for our reservation, stood for quite a few minutes in a half-empty house before being seated, then waited a very long time between visits from our apparently over-stretched waitstaff. The first cocktail I chose wasn't available; nor was the first entree. I settled on the "red wine flight", and it arrived in three glasses. The server recited their names, but I didn't catch them. Food was middle of the road. A smoked sirloin sandwich was tasty, though rather well-done. And the order of "salmon cakes", which the menu says is made of "smoked salmon, roast corn, tomato, cucumber, creme fraiche, and capers" was in fact just one cake (not cakes!), smaller than a hockey puck (about 1/2" thick max) and seemed to be made of canned fish, not the bright orange of smoked salmon. It was accompanied by five thin slices of cucumber and three or four halved grape tomatoes. No corn, no capers. It was so boring, and an overpriced disappointment at $23. If this Bridge is actually closing and focusing on the event space, they've gone out with a whimper. And if they're actually continuing service, I hope they get the food a little closer to the menu descriptions. Our drinks and water glasses were empty for long stretches. There was ice filled to the top to give an illusion of a full drink, but it was obviously not full. After being seated outside, I ordered a red Sangria. It was sweet, tart, and the perfect drink to go with the Dylan Pizza. The pizza was incredible and Neapolitan-style. It was smooth and the combination of flavors worked well. I loved the honey and caramelized onions, but the olive oil base made the pizza a little soggy over time. The service here was a bit underwhelming. After being sat outside, the servers switched, and we didn't get taken care of until it was near closing time. However, the patio and pizza were stars of the show, and definitely have me wanting to come back.

'ssippi is a new(ish) wine bar set towards the western end of the collection of bars, restaurants, and shops that are the heart of the strip. The inside has a large wrap about bar and some limited seating. There is a very good selection of wine and mixed drinks and an okay selection of beer. The prices are reasonable. There is a very limited food menu which largely consists of snacks rather than proper entrees. So this is a great pre/post drink spot rather than somewhere you would spend an evening. The bartenders were fine. Nothing stood out either in a good or bad way. The mixed drink my wife had was very good. The orange wine I had was good, a bit on the dry side but overall no complaints from either of us. Without a highlight of the spot is the large patio. It is mostly taken up by large bench style seating. So you have to be okay sitting next to strangers. I actually enjoy these types of settings and I ended up chatting up the group to our right. There are a couple tables but they are few and far between. There are some overhead canopies and lights, and there was a nice vibe and energy. I was there and it was crowded. I really enjoyed it. Just two additional things to note. The bathroom line was very long. It must only be one stall. The entire time I was there it was a dozen people deep. The only other downside is that my wife and I felt old. The vibe on a late(ish) Saturday night was mainly 20 year olds. If I was in grad school or a recent graduate I would absolutely adore this place. Even if your 30s this probably is a good vibe. Once you hit 40 though you may feel a bit out of place on busy nights (or it will make you feel young again!)
