This is a darling location. The wine selection is extensive and small bite plates are delicious!

Love the travel theme of space! Both times I've been here, I've gotten the wine flight. I love that they put them in a tiered serving rack that puts them in the order you should drink them in. I had the bubbly flight, and it was outstanding. We've also had some of the small plates (not pictured was the charcuterie board and the house made bread). The food is prepared by Hamilton's and is outstanding. Service has tended to be a little on the slow side, but not too bad. Staff have always been friendly. There's not a ton of seating inside, but they do have a patio for nicer weather. It wasn't crowded either time we were there, but we weren't there at high crowd times. Highly recommend this place.

We went for happy hour. Every week night is a different special. All was good. The prime rib sliders are allegedly their most popular item. They were just ok. The Brussels sprouts were my favorite.

This place is big. The decor is world themed with maps and wine stuff and even some Lambert Airport themed items. I wound up there because the rum bar next door was closed. Our server was named Dawn and she was a lot of fun. First I ordered a tropical frozen drink. Then I ordered a flight (planes trains automobiles). My friend ordered a different flight (gaining altitude). I ordered a baked mac and cheese, and it was pretty good considering normally don't like baked mac and cheese. I hope to return to Winnie's soon; I had a wonderful time.

This place is amazing!!! We needed a place for a girls catch up. This place ended up being perfect. The attention to detail in terms of layout and design is outstanding. There are a variety of seating options: bar, high tops, and cozy couches. We tucked into one of the couches and got comfortable. A place with wine in the name should have a good selection of wine to choose from. There is an equally well curated cocktail menu as well. I went with a bubbles flight that was very good. I always need a little something if I'm drinking. We ordered prime rib sliders, cauliflower fritters, and the bacon dusted popcorn. The food was great but the stand out for me was the popcorn. Popcorn is my favorite go to snack and I probably should be in a support group because it's a problem..... We ordered the bourbon bread pudding for our sweet treat. This is probably in my top 5 in STL between Retreat and The Oyster Bar. We sat for a good while and our servers changed hands during our time. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

This is the spot I've been to Winnie's a few times and I always leave saying great things about it. I love the wine flights. They are so fun and a way to try more than one wine on the menu. I would say the flights are pretty affordable for what you get too. The service is always great and the waiter/ waitress is very knowledgeable about the wines on the menu. The food is so good! The bread is divine and a must order. The prime sliders are very tender and flavorful, highly recommend. The bar is super quaint and located on the corner of a busier street but tucked away from the noise. They have their own parking lot or some street parking on the side street as well.

Really cute space with plenty of areas to gather with your friends. They have a nice variety of wines to select from, and a few cocktails!

Great hidden gem for cocktails/beer/wine. Expansive menu, great patio just off the street. Plenty of parking. Small bites menu, too, and desserts. Service was attentive and quick. Recommendations were spot on. Even though they were out of one of the drinks, they quickly helped us find something else. For sure will be back!

We've been to Winnie's before and love it. It's right down the street and super easy for us to get to. We love happy hour, they have killer deals on their appetizers. We will often get a few to share for dinner. The tuna is great, cheese board, brussel sprouts. I haven't had anything here that I don't like! The wine flights are super cool and unique how they present them, and honestly pretty budget friendly for good wine. Can't wait for the weather to warm up and get the golf cart over here! Perfect for a date night or drinks with friends.

Came here on a sat evening and brought our 9mo old and loved the place! Cozy and great food. It all came out quick too, kudos to the kitchen staff. We got the house bread and the garlic salt and softness was excellent. The Brussels sprouts were amazing, melt in your mouth. The scallops also a 5/5, sweet and buttery. The ahi tuna was mild and lots of textures. I'd say 5/5 as well. Eat this one first though as the flavors are not as bold as other dishes. The carrot cake was amazing! Right up there with the best in stl. A fluffy whipped cream cheese frosting and a layer of filling that popped with coconut flavor. Perfect balance of carrots throughout.

This place has all the right ingredients of a great wine bar. Perfect lighting, big chairs, table and bar seats, young professionals staff, great wine selection, and decent food options. Grabbed drinks and food before a show at the Fabulous Fox. Overall, we had a great time. What we drank / ate: - International Wine Flights: (4.25/5) We really like the wine flight options. Decent amount of wine overall with lots of tasting options. - Cauliflower Fritters: (3.5/5) Decent. Flavor was a bit "one note". - Prime rib sliders: (3.75/5) Beef was tender. Decent slider, but would have liked a bit more flavor punch in the sauce. - Sesame Encrusted Ahi Tuna: (4/5) Best bite of the night! Tuna was cooked a bit more than we were expecting... more of a medium/medium rare vs rare.

I can't believe it was my first time at Winnie's living so close to it?! The patio is amazing and dog friendly! I'm still dreaming about the bacon dusted popcorn. The fries were so crispy and delicious

I hesitate to review this place and let people in on the secret because it still seems to be underrated! Winnie's is a new-ish wine bar (but of course, has a full bar and a fantastic cocktail menu) adjacent to Hamilton's. What sets it apart are 1) its cozy decor (think gastropub style couches) and 2) its flights, which are themed, delicious, and huge pours! Also, because they are associated with Hamilton's, they have some excellent bites if you get a little hungry. The cauliflower bites are my favorite. Too it all off with some very engaging and knowledgeable servers, and you get one of my new favorite bars in the area!

When she came back around, we both got the Violet letter (mezcal, crème de violet, citrus, and lemon. Here's where things took a turn.... For two drinks and with no exaggeration, it took well over a half-hour if not longer to get them. Minute after minute passed by where we watched the other tables get their drinks and we had to wait forever and a day for ours. By the time we got ours, I wasn't even in the mood. Of course it didn't help that the kitchen was closed, so we had no food to go with it. The drink itself was smoky, so smoky that it overpowered the rest of the ingredients in the drink, although I tasted hints of violet. Overall, the experience could have been better. I'm willing to give this place another shot, but maybe at a different time when it's not so busy.

Most places ignore this, but everyone that we came in contact with knew and wished us a happy anniversary. Our server (Allie) even had a special treat for us, so we started our night with a champagne toast! She was friendly, attentive and great to talk with. We had a couple of questions that she help answer right away. The restaurant was fairly busy, but we got to sit upstairs away from most of the noise. Now, the food! First, we ordered way too much. We tried the pear and fig flatbread and split a Mayfair salad. The salad was not what we expected but the flatbread was great! Try that if you have the chance! Both of our drinks (the sangria and Sicilian manhattan) were delicious and looked great. Main courses we tried were the smoked pork chop and the cauliflower pasta with grilled chicken. Both had great flavor and were presented well. Not pictured is the flourless chocolate torte that we got to go. This was incredible and super rich! We arrived right on time for our reservation, stood for quite a few minutes in a half-empty house before being seated, then waited a very long time between visits from our apparently over-stretched waitstaff. The first cocktail I chose wasn't available; nor was the first entree. I settled on the "red wine flight", and it arrived in three glasses. The server recited their names, but I didn't catch them. Food was middle of the road. A smoked sirloin sandwich was tasty, though rather well-done. And the order of "salmon cakes", which the menu says is made of "smoked salmon, roast corn, tomato, cucumber, creme fraiche, and capers" was in fact just one cake (not cakes!), smaller than a hockey puck (about 1/2" thick max) and seemed to be made of canned fish, not the bright orange of smoked salmon. It was accompanied by five thin slices of cucumber and three or four halved grape tomatoes. No corn, no capers. It was so boring, and an overpriced disappointment at $23. If this Bridge is actually closing and focusing on the event space, they've gone out with a whimper. And if they're actually continuing service, I hope they get the food a little closer to the menu descriptions. Our drinks and water glasses were empty for long stretches. Scarlet's Wine Bar -- Wuthering Heights, But With Cocktails…read more Had Emily Brontë given Catherine and Heathcliff access to Scarlet's Wine Bar, Wuthering Heights might have been a significantly happier book. Forget wandering the moors crying out for your tortured lover. Get yourself to the patio, order a cocktail, and pull yourself together. Scarlet's is a hidden gem with just the right amount of romance and charm. It's perfect for a light lunch, a romantic dinner, or an afternoon spent dramatically staring into the distance while wondering why Heathcliff hasn't texted back. Start with the cocktails, which arrive mixed to perfection in beautiful, classic glassware. These are not drinks served in some unfortunate tumbler. These are the sort of glasses Catherine Earnshaw would have dramatically clutched while declaring, "I am Heathcliff!" before ordering another round. Then comes the food. The watermelon salad is out of this world--fresh, bright, and absolutely delicious. Frankly, there would have been considerably less misery at Thrushcross Grange had someone simply served everyone a proper salad. Follow it with the pear and prosciutto pizza. Sweet pear, salty prosciutto, crispy crust--layers of flavor almost as complicated as Catherine and Heathcliff's relationship, but with a much more satisfying ending. And then... The blueberry cheesecake. Light. Fluffy. Dreamy. As soft as the clouds drifting lazily above Scarlet's patio--and considerably less ominous than the clouds hanging over the Yorkshire moors. The staff is fantastic: warm, friendly, attentive, and thankfully no one appears to be harboring a decades-long revenge plot against another family. But the real star may be the patio. Sit outside. Order another cocktail. Let lunch stretch shamelessly into the afternoon. Watch the clouds roll by. Discuss lost loves. Curse the cruel hand of fate. Or just order another piece of cheesecake. Scarlet's Wine Bar is romantic, charming, delicious, and wonderfully relaxed. So forget Wuthering Heights. For one glorious afternoon, make it Wuthering Delights. Heathcliff!
