Brought the Audi in for an oil change and another piece of work that that I was quoted between $600 and $700. I mentioned a faint smell of antifreeze and I told them which they should already kjnow this car has a close looped Antifreeze system. They said they would put a $25 liquid in to look for an plus leaks which I was fine with. I go to pick up my car and Derek presents me a bill for $992.97. I tell him thats not what I was quoted. He says he doesn't know , mumbles something about mechanic time and the guy I spoke to is at lunch. You want me to wait? My wife has dropped me off and Im stuck so I pay the bill. Multiple times since that they have texted me to see how the car is running and Ive asked them to address this issue. RADIO SILENCE. Its a shame that you would burn a 10 year relationship over $300. Reading the other negative reviews it seems this is the way they run their business. Obviously I will no longer be a customer. I found them through a friends referral and that's how businesses like this grow. They've forgotten this and now Ive gone back to my network and have two more referrals. The manager in charge was both friendly and attentive...he asked all the basic questions and began to look the car over. They checked the following; headlights, turn signals, brake lights and license plate lights, coolant, air filter, washer fluid as well tires. He recorded the mileage and checked the proper info for oil filter and oil amount needed to complete the service. None of them would even give me an estimate!?! They all said or implied that the job was too complicated and wouldn't be worth their time. Then, a friend told me about AK and Gustavo, the manager. I brought my car to him along with the emissions test results. Within 15 minutes, he gave me an accurate estimate and we scheduled my car for repairs. Three days later, my car was running like new. It had tons more power, ran very smoothly and I'm even getting better gas mileage. AK is somewhat far from my house, but it is well worth the trip for such great service. Thank you Gustavo and crew. I had my car towed there after speaking with them last week about potentially doing the brake job (my fault completely for letting it go so long) and I called on my way from the tow trunk; they were so kind, I arrived by 11:30 and they had my brakes and rotators fixed/replaced by 3pm! They also offered me a military discount when they saw the plates on the car of the family member who dropped me off (retired marine). They turned a really awful day into a win and for under 1k with quality parts and service. I will never get brakes and rotor service anywhere else. Really well priced too. They've definitely earned a new customer for my future needs and were a silver lining in a scary day. Todays lesson- don't let car stuff go! I got lucky but almost didn't!
