I dropped my van off on a Wednesday at 2pm for new tires, brake inspection and alignment, they said it would be completed same day, it was not. I left it with them because the tires were not done yet and they said it needed brakes. The manager told me they would have it completed by Thursday afternoon then he said Friday or at latest by Saturday. No phone call Friday or Saturday. Stopped by Sunday early afternoon and there it sat on the lift with no one working on it, tires off and no new brakes. I told the manager to put it back together and I'd be back to pick it up after he told me it would be a few hours before it would be ready to pick up. I then picked it up at 4:30 Sunday afternoon, 4 1/2 days to replace four tires and perform an alignment is unacceptable. I told the manager it was a poor business model to keep taking in new customers while leaving their earlier customers vehicles not being worked on for days. The manager was friendly and apologized every time I spoke to him but nothing changed. I will not be returning and would recommend to anyone else to find a new garage or prepare to wait and be extremely irritated. read more

Brought the truck in at 9:00 and still waiting for it at 2:40 PM Two days before brought my sons 2015 Camry in for an oil change and they claimed it needed $1500 worth of brake work which it just had 5000 miles before.. I mounted my New tires here, and they are all out of balance, and they cosmetically damaged one of my rims. I went back to get my tires rebalanced, and they would only allow the guy who mounted and balanced them the first time to do it?! So I had to come back when he was working?! The worst service I have ever received. Made an appt for 8am emissions showed up 10 minutes before appt time, no ne there. Sign on door says open 730am - 700pm. Call and knock no on door no answer. Another 2 cars with me waiting. Left at 845 as had somewhere to be. Called to find out about appt and figuring out a reschedule, got hung up on 3 times finally get someone who transfers me to the manager of the location. Manager says well we don't do emissions I said we called and made an appt he said yeah the call center is in another country and they don't know. I've brought two vehicles in the last year for brake service. 1st time I called at 3:00 on a Saturday. They said bring it in and come back before we close. Three hours later, they were finished. 2nd time I scheduled and appointment. I received the same good service. I have the Enterprise Fleet Maintenance program which can be a real pain to get approval on repairs. Kevin knows how to use the program very well. I had no issues whatsoever with these guys. They called me when it's ready. They were polite and acted professionally in my opinion. I would use them again. read more

I bought a set of 4 tires and to make a long story short , they damaged my rim. When I went back they said it was bent and that was normal wear and tear never taking responsibility for damaging it. It wasn't that way going in and they never mentioned it when i first went there and they added about 7 oz of weights trying to make me not notice the problem. Today was service on our 2015 Altima - needed an oil change, brakes and a pesky sensor light that wouldn't go away that I did NOT want to go to back to the dealer for. Came in for a regular oil change as a walk in and the guys services the car as quickly as they could. Phone was ringing off hook and the manager did his best to help everyone. They have weekend hours and are open till 7 on week days. The oil change special advertised didn't apply to my car unfortunately but the manager tried to help with a coupon (felt a little mislead as that's why I originally came was due to the advertising when passing by) They are located near a mc Donald's if you want to pass the time there or have a waiting room off of the garage work area. read more

Horrible service!!!! Avoid!!! We made an appointment to have our brakes replaced on our 2016 Nissan Pathfinder with 40K miles on it on Friday 2/22/2019. We brought the car in and was called 45 minutes later and told that the rotors and pads, both front and back needed to be replaced. We agreed to replaced the rear rotors and break pads all around. Our research showed that we should only have to replace the pads based on our milage. Cost quoted was around $600. We agreed, was called an hour later to pick up car. We picked up the car and went home, less then 3 miles from the Monro Center. The next morning, we drove on the highway and a few more miles from home and experienced a shake in the rear. We immediately drove it to the center and explained. They road tested the vehicle and said they didnt experience the same and asked us what they wanted us to do. We explained that we experienced shaking and would like them to look at it. They said they looked at it and wasnt able to find anything. We drove the car off the property, entered the highway, drove for about 7 miles and the car started to violently shake again. We drove back to the center AGAIN and explained it was still doing it. They test drove with us and experienced the same shaking. Went back to the center, they replaced a rotor and said it was fine. This experience went on, 2/23/2019 from 12:30 until 5PM. We wasted an entire day of going back and forth with them telling us it was fine, then fixed to it to continue to be an issue. We left the center at 5PM and headed back on the highway and AGAIN, we experienced shaking. I immediately called them from the highway and spoke with the manager. He was very short with my just saying to bring it back to the center and they would take a look at it again. I agreed to bring back to the center the following morning when they opened at 9 AM. I explained I was unhappy that I had already lost an entire day to which he replied that he would have to look at the car again. I arrived at the center 2/24/2019 at 8:50 AM as they opened at 9:00 AM. They took the keys and said they would look at it and let us know. At 1:00 PM I called as I had heard nothing from the center. The person was short with me saying they they briefly looked at it and would get to it and let us know when resolved. I again explained that this was the second day I was without a car and needed this to be resolved that day. He said a person that was supposed to look at it had just arrived and would get back to me. Again, no contact was made with me, I called again at 4:00 PM EST (they close at 5:00) and was told they were just about to call me, the car is ready. We asked what was done and they said a new rotor was installed. We went to the center and was told both rotors they installed on Friday were bad. Saturday, the second time, they only replaced the passenger side. Then experienced the same issue, so on Sunday, they kept the car the ENTIRE day and replaced the other rear rotor. I was never offered an apology from either the manager, or assistant manager. In fact, the assistant manager told me they would call me and let us know if they were going to charge us more! How could you charge us more??? We paid $600+ for the brake job on Friday and immediately reported the issues. We lost 2 entire days and had to follow up constantly with the center and we were not offered a credit nor an apology for the inconvenience. After it was fixed and we called to ask about credit we were spoke to rudely!!! The manager actually said that we weren't inconvenienced as we had another car and could share!! Went for an oil change told my husband the oil cap was left off, and never mentioned my engine cover missing. Take someone else for a sucker. I know my truck and I keep up on my truck. If oil changes are done every 3,000 why from the time of service and what the service sticker said was 4,000 until my next oil change. I only put 1,800 miles on my car since. They offered to pay for the tow to get my car back to the shop. Once I refused to purchase a motor from them. They wanted me to pay for the tow to get my car back!!! Dishonest mechanics that will take you for every penny. Quoted me a job for 600.00. Told me he couldn't do it cheaper because the part alone cost 500.00. Asked if I can use the coupon that was on the web site to help take the price down. He said he already added it in before to bring the price down. Yeah right! I went to Auto Zone my self and got the part. The part he quoted me cost 188.00 but I don't have a race car. So I got the Duralast for 99.00 and had a friend/mechanic put it in for me. I can't believe he said 500.00 just for the part. Took my friend 45mins and saved me 500.00. Stay away from these crooks, I suggest to get a second opinion if you go there. I have a company car under Element fleet account. I stopped in on Saturday morning because they accept Element accounts. I walked in and 2 folks behind counter talking. I told the counter man that I needed to make an appointment for all tires and brakes, and could they just replace my wipers now because a hurricane is heading our way. He informed me that one computer was tied up with a fleet account and he didn't want to tie up the other. He also mentioned that I needed an appointment. I said I understand but could they at least just replace the wipers and I would make an appointment for tires and brakes. He said no. Okay I left, went next door and bought wiper blades and installed them in 3 minutes, and most of the time was opening the package. They had 1 car in the bay and mechanic was sitting and talking to counter man when I arrived. Great customer service and needless to say I won't be making an appointment. read more

The price to replace my entire brake system was better than anyone in the Valley and they even installed the rear 2" lift. Too many complaints to list from a cracked brake pads a few hours after installed while I was driving to 2 alternates out in (first one was damaged) to 2 power steering pumps out in. Cracked belt not replaced when I asked them too. All with a condesending and ride attitude. I used to love this place. The head mechanic was very knowledgeable and the prices were fair (maybe not up to corporate rates which may be why there was an employee overhaul) but regardless, I used this place for all my car work. I've been there twice since all the new guys started, and the prices are rediculous, and the employees just don't care. They smoke like chimneys in the garage all around your car, they don't do proper wheel rotations (only front to back, not accounting for roll wear, maybe to sell more tires), and they are not thorough by any means. I actually drove off after the rotation and got a mile away before I realized they didn't put my locking lug nut key back in the car. I would have started a cross country road trip with no way to change my tire. And i asked them to check on a loose bracket and they said it was fine. Did i make it up? Really? They may have had problems with employees giving deals before, but now they have lower level service and Monroe's typical high prices. Look elsewhere for car service read more

I wouldn't even give them a one star!! They are horrible! First time they said it was a mistake and didn't put the oil plug in all the way. The plug fell out from vibration a week later!! Second, was my sons car for brakes. They told him $1500 for 4 rotors and pads around. My son called me and I said NO way!! He then put the kid on the phone and said we can do it for $750 with flushing the lines. I said ok as long as you are doing a full brake job. I just had surgery and couldn't do it. So a few months later, my sons rear brakes are grinding. They have one their computer it was only front brakes! They said they didnt touch the rear brakes and that's what their system says. Whelp!! Then why did they turn the rotors down on the rear? I mic'ed them before the car went in and didn't think anything of it. They said my paperwork is not what the computer says!!!! This place is terrible. The workers there were all extremely rude and did not offer me any help when I first arrived, I actually heard one of the men say "does she think we are going to walk over there and help her? let her *** come over here". I came in for an oil change, less than a month later my check engine light came on signaling I needed another oil change. They gave me a quote for 536$ for my front breaks which is outrageous. They assumed since I am a woman I would not know anything about cars. They added mileage to my car ,when I came in my car had 136,000 miles when I drove off my mileage read 230k. They put my next service date for the very next day on the sticker on my front windshield. The workers were playing music that contained very vulgar language. All around it was a terrible experience. These guys are crooks. Not to mention my overflow box is leaking anti freeze and my car is constantly overheating, a problem I did not have until I went to this place. Come to find out my hose on my overflow box had been tampered with. Ive been having nothing but problems since I came here I'm considering taking legal action. read more
