Love the fact that I can drop off the car in the early morning and chat with staff while the car is repaired. The waiting room is clean and quiet. Plus no upselling or grief when I need to do a repair in stages. Instead, Brian offers common sense solutions and great alternatives to solve an issue. Brian is pleasure to work with and patient with my less than knowlegeable questions :-) He walks you through the whole repair if you have questions. After another local repair shop failed twice to complete repairs without breaking other systems and costing me more money, I went looking for a better place. This is it! So nice to be able to trust a mechanic to do a great job! I read over some of the other reviews and the "one stars" are totally out of character for Brian and I suspect they are bogus. Another great experience I had with Hansen Auto Body & Automotive was when I recently needed the exhaust system repaired. Brian doesn't offer the specific work I needed, so he sent me to "Yankee Discount Muffler" nearby. Another great place that did excellent work and more than reasonable. Thank you Brian!

Not only did he provide the complete full dealer maintenance thats required at my interval (30k miles), but also made my boring stock vehicle fun again. The best part is that the tuning was not part of my original appointment but he still completed the job in a timely manner, surpassing expectations. The stock WRX tune as anyone knows is very torque driven then peaks around 4k RPMS. Jimmy pro tuned my car and the shifting is smoother than butter and the power is linear. We didn't even add any extra parts except a boost controller, which will help my motor in the long run. Close to $10,000 worth of damage. Was going to take it somewhere else, but a person at work recommended carstar xpress. They handled everything with the other insurance and when my car came back, it looked like I had just driven it off the showroom floor. It even looked like they had detailed it.Unfortunately got hit again, another hit-and-run on April 20. Immediately took it to carstar, who gave me an estimate, I brought the car in on Monday the 27th and I got it back after 4 PM on the 28th. Even though this was a much smaller job, they cleaned and detailed the car, again, even putting the spray on the tires to make them look brand new.
