Our heater was only blowing cold air. For a $79 service call a Wintri employee came out and let us know that our circuit board was burned out. My husband asked what a new circuit board would cost and and was told $899-$1,200! Then they emailed us a quote for $1,075 to replace the board. Because this seemed steep, we searched and found the same circuit board online for just $60. Talk about overcharging! To be dishonest about the price of the circuit board is unacceptable. For this reason we cannot recommend Wintri to anyone. This morning in half an hour, my husband replaced the circuit board and all is running well. Always get a second opinion or research further if something doesn't seem right. read more

A/C was not working and Wintri was quick to respond and schedule a diagnostic. Zach arrived early the next morning. He was quick and thorough taking the time to explain what he was looking for and gave great tips to self maintain our hvac system. Once he discovered the AC contractor needed to be replaced he showed how it wasn't working. He quickly swapped it out and checked everything else to make sure we had no other issues. He answered all my questions and even checked back several hours later to ensure we had no problems. Wintri diagnostic fee and service fee for the contractor was reasonable and fair. Our HVAC unit was only 10 yrs old so when the heater/AC stopped turning on I wasn't too happy. No one knew of a company to recommend so I went to Yelp. We contacted a few different companies and they were all responsive but this company had all 5 stars. They answered right away and even mentioned something we could ck before they came out. Unfortunately it wasn't an easy fix but Zach knew exactly what it was. They had to order the part (not cheap) but it came in on Tuesday (ordered Friday) and Zach vas back to install the part on Wednesday. So thankful it's working again. Yesterday morning, we got an error from our thermostat so I messaged through Yelp. Of the 5-6 companies that responded Wintri was able to come in that same day. After I messaged Zach a lot of questions I felt good enough to have him come out. He came out cleaned the unit, checked it, and determined it needed refrigerant (he refilled our AC Unit with just over 2lbs). The AC was blowing nice and cool. Last night it started to get warm and we noticed the fan was not blowing while taking our dogs out. I messaged Zach, and after apologizing (which was not necessary) he promised to come by today. He did and ended up replacing the capacitor. After having done some research prior to contacting local AC service companies, I find that Wintri's prices are more than reasonable. Zach is awesome! They even offered the courtesy of wearing shoe covers. They worked efficiently, the quality of their work showed. My AC wasn't working yesterday, which was on a Sunday but I got a response back in less than 30 minutes for an appointment between 8-9am next day. Spectacular experience with Wintri this weekend. Our AC died and Wintri was the only company able to come same day(Friday). Everyone else I called told us Monday or Tuesday was earliest available! Turned out I had a big problem. Even though my job was small, and was in a tight, hard to reach location, they never quit. They found the problem and fixed it and Im very happy. Amazing service. My AC went out and I called the company to come repair it. Upon arrival the company I called immediately wanted to charge me for a new AC which would've cost me thousands of dollars.
