This review is for Jason, the CEO. I live in Georgia, and I have been ordering from you for a number of years. I have no complaints about your customer service. My issue is with shipping. This last time really made me mad. I placed an order on April 14, the label was created on 4/20, and I received the order on 4/24, which was record by the way. However the freezer packs and the product was completely thawed. I had 6 frozen items. I called immediately and spoke with Gabrielle who offered to resend the items to which I agreed. However I did talk with her about the shipping method and mostly the cost of shipping which was $27.49. That seems outrageous in the first place and especially when everything comes thawed. I don't understand why it is that high. I order other frozen food and pay little to no shipping costs, and it arrives rock solid. Gabrielle proceeded to tell me that if I paid an extra $2, I could get the product in 2 days. So now you want me to pay almost $30? That's so ridiculous. Anyway, I got the confirmation for my replacement on the 24th, the day I called, I got no shipping information, so I e-mailed Gabrielle on May 1st and was told on May 4 (Monday) it would ship out that day and got delivery notice for a Friday delivery. On Friday I got a notice the package was delayed. The product was finally delivered 4 days later, on May 12. That was a total of 8 days, and once again everything was warm. I didn't bother to report back to Gabrielle, it wouldn't make any difference anyway. You really need to do something about the shipping method, and I know I am not the only one this happens to. And it's not just this order, it happens with every order. You also need to reevaluate your shipping costs, maybe have a flat rate or a discount for people who order all the time read more

I was pretty delated after seeing the ad with the creamy choc in the center of the muffins. And the calories - mind-blowing because choc muffins where I am are 500 cal. I tried one order (4muff) to start. I opened right off. Unfortunately, they were all dry, stale and no moisture in the middle. The service was great. They offered to make things right, but I declined. It's never about the money, it's the quality control and the promises made with a transaction. read more

Okay, I'm so stupid for falling for this lol. It popped up on an add and I am trying to eat fewer calories so I thought why not try. It actually tasted good and was satisfying. Then I did some research and guess what. 40 calories muffin is actually 450 calories. There is a way small ACTUAL nutrition fact label on the back. (For a 450 calorie muffin they taste like shit) the advertising is a lie and misleading. They will say "Oh it's approved by the FDA!" But the FDA does not actually require companies to prove that "blocked" calories actually aren't absorbed. Which by the way that is not a thing, and if it was there would be products everywhere like it. Fiber can reduce absorption a bit, but it does not erase calories the way WiO implies. Never got to taste the pizza. I placed an order 3 weeks ago. After a week I contacted WiO to see if it had shipped. Reply 2 days later that it was delayed as they had no cool packs. Was told it would ship this past Monday but didn't receive verification that it had shipped. I contacted WiO again to check and as of today, 23 days after placing the order, and it hadn't shipped. I was told that they are a small company and don't have the ability to let customers know date of shipment or able to alert when there is a delay, really? Large or small, I would call that lousy customer service, poor delivery of service and just plane inconsiderate. I would have love to try the pizza, but thankfully there are other foods to eat from company's that keep you posted on your order. read more

WiO SmartFoods have an F rating and a meager 1.14 score at the Better Business Bureau. There are numerous complaints regarding frozen items arriving thawed here and elsewhere. So I contacted them directly about this. They assured me that they've addressed these issues, and gave me a deeper discount offer. So I bravely placed an order with them. They shipped items from Utah to Georgia via UPS Ground! It took over seven and a half days to arrive. Everything arrived warm. My infrared thermometer indicated that the frozen chicken pot pie was at 79.9 degrees Fahrenheit. It probably would have been much worse if this were Summer. Unless you live very close to Utah, I strongly do not recommend that you purchase anything from them. On a positive note, a request for a refund for all perishable items was promptly fulfilled. Absolute scam. None of their labeling is factual at all. These "natural fat blockers" are not real and have not been shown to actually lower the calorie content of foods in which they are contained. I just want to add another review in response to the owner Jason W. I got on my last review, since I can't respond directly to him. Firstly, I mentioned in my last review that I reached out to their customer service team multiple times about my concerns and they never got back to me, despite claiming that they respond within 48 hours. However, in response to my review, Jason said "we can confirm that we did respond to you." ...to which i say, how exactly can you "confirm" that?? Because I have checked all over my email, in all folders including spam, and I cannot find any response from them. So I stand by what I said in my first review, that their customer service is terrible. Second, Jason said in his reply to my review that they have been approved by the FDA. But you can clearly see in my picture (I will include it again in this review) at the bottom of the container it says the exact opposite! "These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA." So again Jason, what are you talking about? And lastly, I have tried several weight management brands before, and am not new to counting calories and watching my weight. I have NEVER had as bad as an experience as I had with Wio foods. I have never gained close to 10 lbs before by eating UNDER my calorie maintenance, except with Wio. That goes directly against proven science. You do not gain weight when eating under your maintenance calories. So I don't think you can chalk it up to "everyone's body responds differently." They need to be more transparent about the real calorie count. They may really be less than traditional foods, but they definitely are not as low as the huge number on the back says. It's deceitful and sneaky to put in much smaller print on the side the real calorie count. So far I have tried the croissants, chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon muffins. The croissants are really good. Not as good as real ones, but they are flaky and tasty. The cinnamon muffins are too sweet even though there's only 1g sugar. The cookies are ok. A little soft for my taste and I wish they had a little more chocolate flavor. I really like this product. had a great first experience but now I have called and emailed and have heard nothing back for days. When I check the UPS, it says it has not even been paid. False advertising. The calorie content they list is a lie. They advertise and highlight "digestive facts", but those are not the actual calories in the products. The actual calories are listed in the "nutrition facts", which the significantly minimize on the packing. They say their ingredients (some fat- and carb-blockers) eliminate most of the calories, ensuring you do not digest them. That is not how that works, at all. I found these chips at Drug Emporium Vitamins Plus. I picked them up because they said zero net carbs. We tried them, and they were absolutely delicious! They taste just like regular chips. However, I noticed it had two nutrition labels on it. One like the normal FDA requirement, and one that they put themselves. One said zero carbs and the other, I don't remember how many carbs, but it was a lot. I looked them up online and read lots of reviews that they are really not zero net carbs. I've never tasted anything with low or no net carbs that tasted so good. Now I don't think I believe it. Do you research and beware. They may or may not be full of carbs! read more
