I really wanted to like this place but the wheels fell off at the deli. It's a nice little store and I wanted to sample a few things. They have heat and serve items that are homemade. The deli looked amazing with meats that I have never seen before. I started with what looked like meat sticks because I'm a sucker for meat sticks. Next was homemade cheese and potato pierogis. On to the meat counter and I would sample 4-5 of 1/8 of a pound deli meats. While my first meat choice was being sliced an older blond woman would intervene with a nasty attitude and said no 1/8 of a pound because the minimum on deli meats is 3/4 of a pound and there is signs stating that I didn't notice ? Well I don't need 5 pounds of deli meat for sampling. Then I get what are we supposed with the meat we already sliced and I said I will buy it and was only .520 of a pound which was not their minimum quantity that they stated, I would have spent about $10 more in the deli if they didn't have a ridiculously unusual policy. I have been ordering deli meat most of my life and this is the first time I had to order a minimum quantity, am I in the twilight zone ??. The fact that older blond was so rigid about a minimum quantity and not willing to sell me deli meats that I requested is absolutely a giant fail at customer service. O W deli had no problem doing that for me a couple weeks ago and what a contrast between the two polish Deli store. read more

Not worth arguing with "the meat nazis". Would have filled my cart until I was informed of their deli packaging "rules". A simple request (I did purchase more than the required deli item minimum) accommodated at any normal meat/butcher shop was met with a completely ridiculous response and refusal. The customer is not a priority here so today was final visit. Not spending another nickel at this store. Can get same/similar elsewhere. read more

Wonderful Polish market with authentic options to choose from! Their kielbasa was fantastic and had most of the treats we like. My husband wasn't a huge fan of the rosół, but I thought it was pretty good. Their house made pierogi were delicious! We had the Miesem and spinach sauerkraut ones. They also have the frozen ones in SO many flavors that we will go back for! We of course couldn't leave without some Żywiec beer! Staff was nice and helpful. The smell of sausage when you enter is reminiscent of South Side Sausage when I was a kid. The sausage and deli items are all very good and well made. The owners are very friendly and the homemade rolls are the best and sometimes warm if you get there early. The younger staff is not particularly customer service oriented. Hopefully that will change. read more

Fresh polish is a garlic lover's dream! Blueberry Danish was dry and cakey. Grabbed a bag of chocolates which I thought was assorted but ended up colored wrappers meant nothing it was all the same odd candy. read more

Our meal was very Reasonably priced. The entrees included a cup of soup or house salad; I had the soup of the day( Tomato) very creamy and satisfying and above all not overly salted, my wife had the Cream of Mushroom, silky and not to "Heady"/spicy. Main course for me was the sampler plate, cabbage roll, roasted BBQ ribs, fresh Polish sausage riced potatoes, red cabbage with caramelized pork belly, and three Pirogies. My wife had the stuffed cabbage. Entree size was enormous. We also ordered the Pirogi sampler plate: Mushroom and Sauerkraut, pork, cheese and onions. Very nice dining experience. Lots of goodness packed Into a small shop! We stopped in hopes of getting cabbage rolls for my MIL and found lots of other delicious things to bring home. They carry most of the essentials - snacks (Monster Munch FTW), candies, seasonings, picked veggies, fresh bread and baked goods. There's a big deli counter with plenty of polish specialties to enjoy, along with cold cases at the back filled with pierogies, homemade soup, cabbage rolls and more. If you go, they restock soup Tuesday afternoon and cabbage rolls on Friday. When they're out, they're out. The store was spotless and the prices were fair - I'll definitely be back. Edit: went back in and grabbed some of their soups. They taste just like my grandmas so this place is a winner! read more

So nice to not have to travel to Chicago for some of my favorite Polish goods and felt like I was back in a small Polish food market. They only opened towards the beginning of March and adding more and more items - keep an eye on their Facebook page. They have a variety of sausages (the kielbasa is delicious), pickles, dried mushrooms, seasoning packets, pierogis, baked goods, breads, etc... Pros: What I saw was a very clean, bright and modern space. I personally kept staring at the cool light fixtures! Three rows of shelves featuring quite an assortment goods- candies, sauces, tinned food and baking supplies. Two coolers at the back - one just for all flavor of pierogi, the other filled with polish butters and other goods. There's fresh baked breads and pastries as well as Polish themed clothing and toiletries. The deli case is large and filled with an array of meats. I imagine that if you can't find a specific ingredient of polish origin here, you won't find it anywhere in the city. No carts but there's plenty of wheeled shopping baskets for use at the front the store. Cons; Just a few. Parking is street only, the lot is for the restaurant next door. The layout by the deli counter felt cramped. If the store is busy just be aware so you don't skip a turn. I feel like there's room to grow but the current selection feels small in the large space of the store. But, Wioletta's just opened a month ago and I feel like they're here to stay. We stopped in near closing time but I'm interested to see if there are any changes in the coming months! read more

We love Wioletta's! It is so nice to have a Polish deli nearby. We have been multiple times and we always enjoy what we come home with. Their sausages are excellent, from cured meats to raw sausage. They have a beautiful selection of baked goods. My favorite is their amazing variety of pierogi! The customer service is wonderful and the atmosphere is pleasant and clean. Love this place! The first time I walked in, I had tears in my eyes... It smelled just like my polish grandparents house did when I was a kid. It brought back great memories for me of them making homemade sausage in their basement. Of course I had to buy some polish sausages and they were wonderful. Worth getting my exercise while walking for some delicacies and more. While at the beginning it may have been a bit sparse in selection I said wait to the naysayers and I was right. The owners have gradually procured and enhanced the store to include what is missing for those seeking Polish items. Tuesday and Friday are the delivery days for baked goods. The muffins are incredible and stay fresh and moist for days. The Portuguese rolls are a family favorite and must be replenished several times a week along with the garlic ham. I have found the Polish Vegetable salad to remind me of the old Fountain Blue Warsaw salad I always enjoyed. Wednesday is soup day and yummy selections. Now that Soup Otzie didn't return sadly they have found a desire for helping fill some of the void. Owners are delightful to work with as I prepped Polish baked delicacies for my brother-in-law's memorial meal. It was a tribute to his aunts, Bapcia and Busha being able to enjoy a few familiar delicacies. As they add, expand and work to support the community I enjoy my walking a bit more. read more

Where do I begin?? The service was so slow, the longs were way too long and they don't have much. We tried the smoke Polish and it tasted AWFUL! The turkey meat was so dry and tasted off, and the cashier guy didn't pack well at all. I got a Danish thing and it leaked all over everything not to mention it was packed sideways and the top of the Danish was stuck to the box!! We spent a lot of money and sadly a lot of it went into the trash. This was not true Polish food, and the service needs major help! Waste of money and time. We traveled a long way. NEVER AGAIN!
