Wired Coffee Bar is a cute coffee shop serving great coffee and delicious treats. There are very sweet & helpful baristas that take the time to explain their seasonal drink menu and make recommendations. On this visit, we enjoyed the London Fog ($4) and Peach Iced Tea (3), both were great. We have our eyes on the Frozen Caramel Latte and the Nutty Irishman next time we visit. Also appreciated that they carry Italian Sodas and plenty of loose leaf tea choices for the not so heavy coffee drinkers. The interior has plenty of table and chair seating. There were lots of people working, chatting, and enjoying the coffee in the comfy chairs available. Although it was quite busy inside, there is a dog friendly outside patio with select seating as well. We were informed that they occasionally have live music and also offer a membership for their dedicated co-working space. Be aware that parking can be difficult as the front lot is small, and pulling in and backing out places you straight onto the main street. They do have a small side parking lot, though. In all, Wired Coffee is a great place for sitting down as well as grab and go. We look forward to returning! read more

Wired Coffee is a cute coffee shop that I've always known about in my college days. I have a handful of fond memories spent here, like late nights studying with friends. I ordered an Iced Lavender Latte with oat milk and it was very good. Coffee was strong but not overpowering, it complemented the oat milk and lavender flavor. I look forward to trying other drinks on their menu. Service was timely. I felt like service was a little cold, but I think the person who took my order was new so that's understandable. My favorite thing I ordered was the Raspberry Lemon mousse. Everything was sold out from the bakery, except this. It was absolutely amazing. It was very light, the filling and frosting were so smooth, and the flavors were great. I love the citrus notes of lemon with the raspberry. 10/10 impeccable pastry/cake, dare i say decadent. Whenever I look back at this picture of the mousse, I get nostalgic a little and miss it so much haha. Also they have a membership club with their own office space, private wifi, and other amenities. Parking is limited by the front, and there's a lot by the side as well. Sometimes these spots get filled up quick during the school year so parking gets tough. I will likely be back here to give it another try, but I was not too impressed. The location and setup inside are great. If I were a student or working in the area, I might hang out here some or meet friends. I ordered a black coffee when it was not crowded. I got it fairly quickly, but it was warm. As I said, I didn't put in any creamer or milk. I brought it back up front and told them I wanted another. They were very nice. They said they were just getting another pot going, which told me they knew the coffee had likely been sitting there too long. Again, they were nice, so kudos to them for that. They have good coffee, but more importantly (to me), they have the BEST homemade pop tart I've ever had! It was filled with fig, and the pastry was flaky and not overly sweet. Interior space is really cute and seems like a great meeting place for coffee dates, small groups, or remote work. I had the ham and cheese croissant and a couple of cookies as well. The fig pop tart was definitely the star of the show followed by the ham and cheese croissant. I'm looking forward to being in town again next month for work and stopping by again! read more

This was a nice find when I did a quick search for coffee houses nearby. Food options weren't too bad but the coffee options were great.

I've been a fan for nearly ten years now and it is still the best place in town. Passing through town we picked up a quick bite for breakfast and some coffee. The lates were great. Unfortunately just one guy manning the espresso machine slowed things down to a crawl so our two person coffee order took about 20 minutes. Otherwise service was friendly. Good atmosphere and interior. McDonald's maybe Starbucks quality coffee execution and taste. Coffee is subpar which I attribute to inexperienced Baristas, as their Coffee beans appear to be good quality. Espresso based drinks have a lot of variables, that require a trained person in order to offer a quality product. Hot Latte drinks underwhelm and are comparable to Starbucks in foam quality. Baristas are unable to make quality micro-foam. Ordered an Iced Latte before and they used house made cold brew coffee concentrate and added milk, by definition NOT an iced Latte (which is an espresso based drink). I'm sure they are doing this to make drinks faster, it just isn't what I ordered. This place has potential but it would require trained Baristas to make it worthwhile. read more

If you think Circle K is the only place you can get a coffee under $3, think again. This joint has legit amazing coffee! I got a large for under $3! It's definitely the put-hair-on-your-chest variety that I love, so weaklings beware. I had a white chocolate almond biscotti to go with my joe, and it was a perfect balance of crispy without breaking teeth hard. Easy to find, but parking is a bit limited and tight. There are spaces in front of the building but backing up to leave you will enter the street. Just watch carefully as the sight lines are good. There are two handicapped spaces right in front of the door. There is a vacant lot across the side street but from the signs you definitely should not park there. Walking in shows a unique blend of open and airy with warm and inviting. Lots of natural light and darker wood furniture. The ordering counter is straight in front as you enter with a large open area. Even long lines don't need to stand outside. Seating is a mix of booths, tables, and window seats. There is also an outdoor seating area on the side. Staff is very friendly and there are a lot of regulars. I had the very dark roast coffee which was exceptional. They managed a massive roast flavor without the typical burnt flavor. While they have many other offerings, the very dark roast is worth the trip alone. read more

Wired was in the little town of Ooltewah, TN, about a mile or so from the Little Debbie Softball Fields where my daughter's travel team was playing the Scenic City Summer Showcase tourney! I have visited Wired various times over the years, starting back when it was in Cambridge square. Up until today I haven't found any coffees that I like, until today. The coffees I've had thus far, tended to be on the bitter, burnt side. Tried everything from mochas, to dirty chai, latte and even hot chocolate. My latest coffee choice was awesome. So awesome I want to return for another. But I hesitate. Because despite my new found love for coffee the one thing that always makes me hesitate about returning is the lack of personality of the staff. I have never visited where they are genuinely nice or happy to take your order. Never a smile. I end up wondering if it's because I'm not a regular that I haven't earned the rare hello or smile. Perhaps if service was more personable I'd frequent a lot more than the rare times I currently do. Definitely not a Starbucks person, but at least they seem more friendly than our local coffee shop. As it is, I'd rather drive out of my way to go to Lola Beans or Mean Mug for someone who actually appreciates my business. It's a cool little hip coffee bar, no doubt like the others you've seen around Chattanooga. Their quiches are especially flaky and larger than most other places. I did like that and it took me longer than three bites to finish it. The Frozen latte was a delicious sugary confection with caramel. I am not too good at ordering these and the lady at the cash register is more than happy to help me and suggest what I might like with it. On the service note, each lady that works there said please, thank you, and you're welcome. It was nice got getting a "Mhm" or some other form of passive-aggressive response. Is there wi-fi let me online game, able to play League of Legends in OverWatch without missing a Beat. Cool spot in Ooltewah that despite being large can sometimes feel a little crowded. I like the booth seating that provides more privacy than the typical coffeehouse layout. Haven't stayed yet bc I only discovered this place during this COVID pandemic. Baristas wear masks. Stopped in yesterday to get some coffee beans to take home and noticed they don't have any. :/ I stop here when I'm traveling back and forth from Knoxville to Chattanooga. 1,000% better than Starbucks. If you're making the same drive, I highly recommend you go the extra three minutes to Wired. This is a one store only "mom and pop" type coffee shop. They have only been open since mid to late August of 2014. A 12 oz. cup of coffee is only $1.85. That's all you need to get wired up, and wake up and get up and go to work to start the day bright and early even if you don't want to. It's in a brand new shopping center that they have been building for about a year. I like it. There is also a new ice cream store to the right of it. You can not only sit inside at tables or couches but outside as well. Early this morning was a perfect time to sit outside as the temperature was perfect and the sun had just come over the horizon. However, I was in a hurry to get to work so I can't sit in this pleasant environment. I definitely will come back again as I have become a regular. Oh yes the coffee was so good that I drank all of it which is quiet unusual for me. If it wasn't for Yelp I would have never known it was over here. I have read several mixed reviews on Wired's coffee, but for me, I love it due to it not being too sweet. I find that other coffee shops have way too sweet of coffee drinks, but wired always does the perfect proportion for me. I am a frequent coffee drinker so I do like mine a little more strong then the average once in awhile coffee drinker. The atmosphere is great as well! I do wish they had more seating though; I tend to often not find any seating during the school year. Overall, I give Wired Coffee Bar a go! A great coffee shop. It looks so sleek and modern in here! The owners are so fun and friendly. And you can tell they are passionate about what they do. There are outlets all over the place if you want to do some work and they have a comfortable lounge section if you want to plop on the couch. It really is a great spot for the community to gather. I made a quick stop at Wired during a trip from Atlanta to Knoxville. The ambiance is amazing and it looks like a neat spot to study. I wasn't too impressed with the coffee however. Honestly, I don't know what to say about this place. The work environment was so bad. Worked here for about a year. Didn't get a single raise and the tips aren't split how they are supposed to. Dan the old manager was over dramatic couldn't really handle situations, took shifts happily then complained about said shift, and lastly he treated co workers unfairly. The drinks arent the best unless made by an old coworker named Ashleigh. It felt like I was a slave working in this environment. Also another old coworker got FIRED without being told and the other got SUSPENDED without being told either. The communications of Lisa is probably the worst I have ever seen. If you work more than 6 hours by state law you have to have a break, Lisa and or Dan didn't encourage a 30 minute break. We were ALWAYS out of stuff, orders were never consistent.
