The night before my scheduled appointment, I get a text from a guy at 10 pm stating that Robert recommended "us" to install my lights. I responded "Who is us? Do you work for Wired Up?" He said "No, I work for E S Electric." Huh?? I hire a company and they send another company I know nothing about to do the work? I've never heard of such a ridiculous business practice. I was already in bed so I messaged Robert in the morning and asked what was up. He explained, and we worked it out. At 8:11 am the morning of my appointment, after we cleared up the confusion, I messaged back stating that I was looking forward to the appt today and getting the work done. I took half day off work and was home by 1:20 pm for my 1:30 pm appointment. The shutters are open on the front window, the front door is open with a glass security door. I sat in the living room waiting for the technician to show. At 1:37 pm I messaged Robert to make sure he had touched base with this other guy after the miscommunication was cleared up this morning and they are still showing up. Robert said "I did touch base with him. I am calling him now to see where he is at." At 1:52 pm I am still waiting and no update from Robert. So I text again stating my uneasiness about the quality of the work I will get when they are more than 20 minutes late now. I get a text back stating "He went out there and you did not let him do the work." I responded back that no one has shown up here. They just quit responding to my texts and no answer to my call. NO one ever showed at my house. So either Wired Up is being dishonest to try and cover for this other guy or this other guy is being dishonest trying to cover his own ass. In any case, I took time off for nothing and have to go on the search for someone else now to install these lights hopefully before the return period so I am not stuck with something I don't know works or not. Unlike other reviewers, NOT respectful of my time at all. I'm glad so many others had a good experience. We had a terrible experience. Robert came promptly to give a quote and understood what we needed. He also understood we were on a schedule as we currently have no kitchen. We agreed on $600 and Thursday (four days later). We called to confirm the day before and Robert stated he had lost our number and had a scheduling issue. We told him we had already hired carpenters to hang dry wall and they were waiting. He said he'd try to send someone. He sent an older man who was friendly enough, but started haggling over the price of each outlet and reiterating "This is a lot of work." When he wanted to up the price, we called Robert back to confirm the quote. I told him we would pay more beyond his quote, but I asked how much and he directed us to ask his employee. The employee complained that this was a lot of work. The employee said he had a $30,000 job and couldn't waste time with this project and left. He wouldn't even give me a quote for the higher price. They seem like great guys, but we're disappointed they weren't up front telling us we were too small a job and for wasting a solid week. To clarify, we didn't change any plans, they just started asking for more money and then walked off the job even though we were willing to pay more. Another week without a kitchen :( read more

I had requested a price quote Sunday evening for an issue I was having with a ceiling fan and Robert responded that evening with a reasonable quote.
