I used Yelp's "Projects" search, and All City Electric was one of the few chosen by Yelp to include in the process. I utilized the NV State Contractors Board License Search feature and read many reviews on both Yelp and Google about the companies I was considering. After the initial text response via Yelp Projects, I spoke with Bryce on the phone, and he scheduled Cory to come out to my house to talk to me, see the property first-hand, and provide an estimate... for no charge! Cory listened to my concerns, a description of the items I wanted to be inspected, and he answered some questions I had at the time. Cory emailed me the proposal. He emailed me three proposals with cost totals for each so that I could consider what level of services I wanted to potentially choose. The next day, Cory sent me a follow-up email, expressing eagerness to get me scheduled soon. Communication went well between Cory and me via text, email, and phone calls. After speaking with some other electrical services businesses on the phone, receiving estimates/proposals, and researching, I chose All City Electric. Cory and I scheduled a time frame to have the work done. It was scheduled with a 2-hour arrival window. On the day of the appointment, and closer to the earliest time of the scheduled arrival time window, I received a courtesy phone call from Hector. He called me and then arrived at my house about 15 minutes later. We first discussed what was to be done based on the proposal, Hector then began the work. He was courteous, efficient, and professional. Everything I had discussed with Cory was completed. I now feel much better knowing that all smoke detectors are installed properly and in working order (and I did not have to climb up a ladder to do it myself; high ceilings!), GFCI outlet count in the kitchen is 'up to code standards' and where they need to be located (the wiring was already in the wall but there needed to be a GFCI outlet installed where there was just a standard outlet), and the electrical panel was inspected (I'm going to describe it as being given a "tune-up"). I asked many questions (hopefully not silly ones; if they were silly they still politely answered my questions). In the process, I learned some new things about my house. I chose to pay by credit card. Hector was able to provide me with the invoice and receipt of payment before he left. He verified my email address and then sent the invoice and receipt to me electronically. I'm very satisfied with the services. I have added the company to my 'Home & Auto' Yelp Collection (a.k.a. a preferred list) for any possible future electrical needs for my house. read more

We have a strict no shoes policy and the men had no problem wearing booties over their boots. They removed the booties every time they walked out of the house and replaced them upon reentry. They went above and beyond to ensure they exceeded our expectations. After installing each chandelier etc they wiped them down to clean any dust or fingerprints. Oh my! Everything about this experience was over the top amazing! I called the business' phone number from a yard sign that I saw near the Smiths in Skye Canyon. That was on a Saturday. On Sunday, yes Sunday, Corey called me back to learn about my project needs. This dude is super friendly and on it from the get go ensuring that he fully understood the details of my needs. By Thursday, the 240 Level 2 charger for my electric Audi etron was installed. The tech Jose who came out to my daughter's home to do the installation work was equally amazing - on time and completed the work without a flaw. When our 50A/240V plug stopped working in the garage (for our EV L2 charger) with some startling sparks, I shut off the circuit breaker and called Cory, who arrived a couple of hours later. He first made sure everything was safe, then investigated what the problem was -- we discovered that the socket used by the builder (a residential Eaton plug) had almost completely disintegrated. A couple days later (I was fine with this schedule) Hector came out and replaced the burned-out unit with a commercial grade socket, tested everything, and cleaned up the scorched wires. Yes, the socket cost about $75, rather than the $15 one used by the builder, but it's worth it to not burn down my home. Thanks, guys! read more

I replaced 2 ceiling fixtures in a hallway with new integrated LED fixtures. Easy - except the LED fixtures were just way too bright. These 2 fixtures are controlled by 3 switches. A 3 way switch on either end and a 4 way switch in the middle. If I've already lost you - just call ACE now. I googled and learned I could buy one of the 3 way switches with a dimmer. This turned into a comedy of errors. The Lowes guy recommended the wrong product. Then I had the right product with no instructions. I got it to work, but the primary/seconary relationships between the switches was not working properly. If I've lost you at this point, just call ACE now. I had a handyman fixing something else who took and look. He did something, then the lights didn't go on at all. Finally, I called ACE. They solved the problem quickly and inexpensively. read more

On that day I waited from 1:30 until 4:30 until there's definitely a no show. I called and Cory said he's couldn't find my number. And if I had called earlier, he might have somebody come to my place. I'm just wondering how could he lost track of me. They should have my address which I gave him over the phone, or my phone number from the incoming display or my contact information via Yelp scheduling. Be Careful! I had All City out to look at two electrical jobs in my house and give me a price quote. I hired All City to do the work. When the crew finished, they presented me with a bill that was 25% more than my estimate. No reason given for the overage and I never had a chance to authorize it. When I contacted management, I was told their estimate doesn't mean anything and 'the job took longer than expected.' Their work crew did, however, leave with me a parting gift-- their empty Monster Energy can sitting on my nightstand. read more
