I would give this store a zero if possible, they are trained thieves. I went here to upgrade my phone and they offered me 830$ and tried to make me buy a totally new plan. I went to the new Verizon store on 9th street and 5th avenue and it was totally different. they honored the 1000$ trade in value that was being given online and did not try to fast talk me into stuff I didn't come for. Oh can I add that the employee at the 15th street location kicked me out of the store after I told him I'd trade it in online and pick up my new phone at his location. Beware of making a purchase at this store - they aret thieves. First, they sold me, for $30, a charging cable and when I got home and opened the box (they said they couldn't open it in the store) I discoverd that the phone had one. I went back to return it and they said it was a final sale. I asked why they sold it to me and he said he thought I'd need a longer one. BS! I then received a surprise "Welcome to Verizon Mobile Protect" which was going to cost an extra $17 per month +tax. The sales person just put in on without asking us. I will say Verizon was good enough to cancel it when I called and said that the dealer never should have signed me up without asking. There is something very shady about this place. BUYER BEWARE. The exact individual who scammed me is interestingly front and center in many of these glowing reviews. I was sold a used (and useless) first generation iPad for nearly $700 with the manager representing to me that it was an iPad 5. He also added an extra line without my knowledge or consent. When I realized this and returned to the store he brazenly lied about everything and refused to do anything. Actually, he did offer to add insurance and back date it to the original date of purchase so I could get a replacement through the insurer. That's called FRAUD so naturally I declined. Thankfully Verizon eventually made this right for me. Many in the neighborhood have had similar experiences. These guys have been reported to the city's consumer protection agency, BBB and the Brooklyn DAs office. Steer clear. read more

Worst place! Do not go there even if it is the last place on earth! My boyfriend left his phone for repair there ... took a week to get it back. First time they said two days. After two days, we called, they told us to come after 7pm. At 7pm they tell us tomorrow. Next day the same thing and it has been a week now. So even though the phone was ready and fixed, it took a whole week to actually get it from them. Absolutely ridiculous! Not to mention that my boyfriend's diabetic equipment it linked to that phone so he needs it to track his sugar and all that. read more

I called Verizon in the store and he got nervous and told me he'll take it off when before he said it wouldn't go off. He didn't help with taking my mother's info off her old phone to the new phone. Go to an actual Verizon, not a Verizon authorized retailer. Firstly, I will state that the manager Ali effectively fixed the issue that should not have occured in the first place - I went into the store one evening to get the iphone XR, and was met by Endy. I stated that I wanted the XR in yellow, and asked if that was the one that, when financed, would be around $25 a month, Endy confirmed that and we continued with the sale. It was nearing closing time, so when we went through with the transaction, Endy scrolled through the payment information on the screen, I assumed this was fine, and that the phone was the price we had agreed upon when I walked in. Unfortunately, when I got home I realized it was financed for much more than verizon's price, as this was an authorized retailer, they are supposed to follow verizon's prices. I realized Endy's rushing of the sale was a means of not allowing me to see the price, or he simply didn't care to check. (I'm certain this action was taken on video, if you'd like to try and rebuke this claim). I was also sold a case (broke within a week?) and screen protector, which was a privacy screen style that I had not asked for, and this very specific style of screen was not confirmed with me prior to placing it on my phone. I politely called Endy the next day, stating that this price was immensely more than he had confirmed with me at the beginning and he agreed to take the price from $810 to $710 'not realizing how that happened'. Verizon's price was $650, I made him aware of this. $650 is also the price that business should be offering, if they are 'matching Verizon's prices'. He acted very roundabout, and said that it ended up being more since he didn't realize my phone was broken, although I showed him this immediately when I entered the store, when he confirmed it would be around $25 a month. This whole situation was now frankly suspicious, so I said I'd like to take the phone back, to which Endy angrily replied, the restocking fee would be $75 - though legally allowed based on a percentage of the price of the product, this is a price that is astronomical to any other place's restocking fee, and a certain sign that this was out of spite. I simply wanted to return my phone that I had been wrongfully charged an extra $160 dollars for. I went in several times and eventually caught the manager, Ali, who fixed all of this, and I just opted to pay for the phone outright, at Verizon's correct price, to never deal with Endy's sus salesmanship ever again. Ali and the rest of the guys seem great, I do believe Ali wants to run a good business here. Endy did a very shoddy job that day and did not even try to make it right, and instead became very emotionally irritable. I hope this was a one-off instance, but I will close by saying, if you do have to go here out of desperation, double check everything and try to work with Ali if you can. read more

I went there as I want to upgrade to a newer iPhone and through the glass door I see the guy who works there sitting in a chair completely maskless. He saw me and didn't even make any kind of move towards covering his face. Not that I would have gone in anyway knowing he's been sitting there with an uncovered face breathing all over. I didn't come here to spend a $1000 and maybe get sick because of you. Odd behavior as inspectors are crawling all over the city looking for exactly this kind of thing. Right by the glass door. I found this store online and was very hesitant going in, never having been there before and feeling a bit overwhelmed by technology.. But I was despearate. Anyway, my fears were allayed as soon as I met Bushra and Saad. They were incredibly helpful sourcing a new phone and also a new plan which figures to save me hundreds of dollars per month. Went here to pick up a new phone as I had long been eligible for an upgrade. Before I left the house I called ahead and verified that they had the phone I was looking for in stock at the store and they assured me that they did indeed have it. Sure enough when I arrive less than an hour later they claim not to have it and offer to sell me another model for $100 extra. I said flatly "Hey, what gives? I called and spoke with you specifically less than an hour ago and you told me that you had the model phone I'm looking for. Now you're trying to tell me that you didn't say that?" While in-store I mostly spoke with his associate who was friendly and helpful but this other bozo wouldn't even look me in the eye and really wasted my time by lying to me. read more

On Friday, my boyfriend and I decided it would be a good time to shop for a new phone for him, and for my child. Rather than go to the Atlantic Mall, which is always way too crowded and overwhelming, we decided to support a local small business, and walked into this lovely little shop. It was there that we were greeted by a sweet bear of a guy named Gabriel Bethune. Gabriel was so very helpful in providing details and specifications on many options that might work for us. He also had the most awesome playlist, if that kind of atmospheric stuff is important to you. Not only did we get the "Friday after Turkey Day" specials, but he also made some helpful suggestions about my services and about my current phone's coverage. I would highly recommend you visit Gabriel and Kahji, his associate. These guys are a class act. They know their stuff. They are friendly, informative, intelligent, and just plain nice! Beware of the salespeople in this store. When you go in to buy a phone, they will try to give you extra products that you don't want for "free". This business is a great example of people who "get it". I lost my phone on a weekend and they walked me through the process of detaching myself from my corporate plan. They were able to source a buy one, add a second line for free with two Samsung S7 Edge phones and a promotional upgrade for a gift card. Talk about a grand slam which solved my issue quickly. They got me two new devices and with great speed. Danielle, Carolina and Al saved the day for me and we're lucky to have them in Windsor Terrace. My family purchased a phone at this location one week ago and it was made clear that the phone was going to be used abroad very soon. No mention of a '60-day lock period' was made which means a SIM card cannot be used on this phone until the 60 days is up. Don't expect an expert when you visit this location. My mom totally got taken advantage of at this location. She went in to get some help with her cell phone. The representative then gave her a free tablet which he said was a promo for anyone over 65. Mind you it was a KIDS' tablet! Of course, her statement was more than double what it should be and there was a new phone line added to her account. When I went to the store to return the tablet and to complain, the rep justified his actions saying that he had spent a long time with my mom and explained everything about her telephone to her--(note, he did not say he explained everything about the tablet.) Obviously, during the time he spent helping her with her phone, he could sense that she was a vulnerable 78 year old woman. When I objected to the additional charges, he tried to give me the runaround by saying that the charges were for a two month period and that the next month, her bill should go back to normal. Please, I see the added line and the charges associated with it. When I said that my mom should be able to get help with her phone without being taken advantage of, he told me they were a retail shop and not a customer service provider. He finally took back the tablet but only after charging me a $32 restocking fee. The people here are extremely shady. Everyone should take their business elsewhere. read more
