Pretty good food, but extremely bad service!! About 7:30 PM on week night, I walked in and was given a table, menu, and water. Afterwards, the waitress goes to another table and sits and talks for 26 minutes. I had never been before; so I had question on pizza crusts. Finally, I ask another couple at the table across from me, because no matter how much I waved, etc, the staff was determined to ignore the customer. I placed an order with another waitress; and food was ok. I doubt that I would return for dining at a table; as it is obvious that they prefer you order out and not interrupt their important business of ingoring customers. read more

I really looked forward to this place opening and was excited to try it. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly hostess who explained that they had just started waiting on the tables that week during dinner. I think this could explain some of our issues. We ordered an appetizer and 3 Pizzas. The Appetizer did not come out before the pizzas and then when they all arrived one pizza was personal instead of medium and another pizza was forgotten. After another 15 minutes of the 3rd pizza being a no show she brought it out and said we could have it for free. Nice touch but when we tried the pizza it was cold. So I guess it just got lost. Even with all these mistakes no manager came by to talk to us. I'll give the place another try but as of now I'd say it is closer to 2.5 stars. read more

I've heard many great things about this place and had to go. The fried Mac and cheese- the best ever, the pizza, way above average and can't wait to try more, the beer, great selection but the service to get beer was horrible. When we sat down we asked about happy hour. The waitress said she thinks it's happy hour and maybe $1.00 off and then saw a sign advertising beer Monday for $3.00. This ended up being a larger discount. Every time we ordered a beer, which was 3 times, we had to wait about 30 minutes per beer and figured out our waitress was too young to serve it so she had to wait until someone else was available to bring it to is. I just hope they read this and fix it. Huge disappointment because we love beer with our pizza. Next time we will get the pizza to go. read more

Great pizza and great service! Some of the most friendly staff I've ever encountered.

I'm going to start this review with the positives. The food is incredible!! The portions are generous, the bruschetta appetizer fed our table of eight and the wings were super spicy! They had a really cool beer deal, $3 for drafts and you got a sweet souvenir glass!! That's pretty cool!! The location is hip and fun, however, I'm not sure the staff is equipped to serve a full house. We ordered and our food sporadically started to arrive about 45 minutes upon ordering. I asked the waitress to put in a to go pizza for me about 20 minutes after we ordered and she told me to remind her, so I did. Turns out she had forgotten, but even with the reminder, I never got my pizza...it did appear on my bill though. I requested it be taken off and unfortunately, I had to go somewhere else to get dinner for my boyfriend at home. If you have hours to wait for food, dine here...if you'd like your meal in a timely manner, go somewhere else. read more

Yes, I drive from Hurst for Wise Guys pizza. Quality ingredients, excellent food and good service. Everything we have tried is delicious.

Came in for lunch today! Great atmosphere-,plenty of Tvs, awesome patio. Plenty of craft beer on top, I ordered the dallas blonde, came out in a cold pint glass. Lunch special- $5.95 for 3 topping pizza and a side. I chose the salad... Excellent side salad! Garlic bread was served at no cost, pizza was fantastic. The owner came out and talked to us and brought us a sample of a different blonde beer than what we were drinking. I will definitely be back, next time at dinner so I can try other beers. read more

We were staying at the Gaylord Texan during the Xmas holidays. I spent 20 min on hold just trying to make a reservation for dinner. I gave up and checked Yelp for restaurants that delivered. This is an interesting pizza spot - it's all over the board. Lots of complex food items to choose from and a great local beer selection (beer was nice and cold). Pizza is good, can't say spectacular, but I'm confident in coming back and trying something else. The business could use some improvements. It's confusing because it's counter service but you get a server, too. I would have been more comfortable with someone serving me from the start, ordering a beer and relaxing as I was looking at the extensive menu. Instead, you almost feel rushed to order because it is counter service and you have someone staring at you waiting for your order. Other than that, I think it's a nice, different type of pizza place and prices are reasonable. Wise Guys is a nice addition to the area. read more

I have heard Wise Guys was excellent and decided to check it out. We called in an order to go. I'm a big fan of cheese pizza... Sounds boring, right? But I tried the Good Fella's 5 cheese pizza, and oh my yumminess, did it ever impress! It was a beautiful thin crust with Garlic Oil, Alfredo, Mozzarella, Asiago, Parmesan, Provolone, & Feta, topped with fresh herbs. It elevated the cheese pizza to heavenly standards. We also ordered the Shrimp Scampi Pasta. This too was a hit. There were plenty of shrimp, and the capers added a nice flavor to the dish. My kids shared some of the Fettuccini Alfredo, and enjoyed it. The garlic bread that came with the meals was out of this world! The serving sizes were a nice portion size, as was the pizza. Everyone I encountered was friendly and polite. I placed my order on a Friday night, and at a very busy time. I was told the food would be ready in thirty minutes, but it was closer to an hour. I went ahead and paid for the food, and tried to find a place to wait. I seemed to be in the way of the expeditor and there wasn't a good location to wait... But that is because Wise Guys was packed with happy customers. I left this review on Facebook, and Wise Guys responded to my review immediately, apologizing for the wait, and stating they are working on streamlining the to go process. I'm not deducting any stars because I honestly believe this was just growing pains after opening, and it was an incredibly busy night. I would happily wait again based on the quality of the food. Unfortunately, the to go order didn't have complimentary garlic knots, but the food was stellar, and this will become a favorite for our family. Next time I think we will dine in and enjoy their incredible selection of beer. Give it as try, and I think your tastebuds will be happily surprised! read more

This is probably one the best pizza places in the area outside of that expensive pizza place down the road. The crust is absolutely fantastic and the pepperoni was wonderful. The value for the quality is unmatched. The only knock I have on the place is the service. I commend the owners for hiring young faces but there were times where these kids all just looked absolutely lost. Otherwise the food is fantastic and everyone was fairly friendly. read more

Great atmosphere indoor and patio. Bar is perfectly positioned for both areas. Tvs inside and out, get ready for Sunday football! We absolutely love this place! They have a large selection of local craft beer. They start you with a basket of delicious garlic knots and marinara. We usually choose to start with small salads because they are all fantastic with delicious, fresh ingredients. My favorite is the Mediterranean Salad. Our go to pizza is The Don, an all meat pizza. I love everything about their pizzas...the sauce, the crust, the toppings...all of it is great and not very expensive. Definitely give this place a try the next time you're in Grapevine! read more

I love pizza, and I left satisfied fulfilling my craving, definitely hit the spot. I didn't mind the wait for my order to arrive because I knew that must have meant it was handmade using fresh ingredients...and it was worth it. I had the bianco pizza with chicken and alfredo sauce, the cheese was gormet and plentiful, they definitely didn't skimp on the toppings! I don't usually try craft beer or anything unfamiliar but decided to get the crackberry cider and loved it, kind of tasted like a red wine but not as dry, was a refreshing beverage to sip while sitting on the patio on a perfect spring weather day. The only negative thing I have to say is the server forgot our appatizer twice, finally got it and wasn't charged on the bill. Staff seemed a little annoyed by our party of 6 girls a baby and 3 boys.
