The French toast was crazy good, the standard breakfast items - toast, eggs, bacon, all delish! The patio facing the water fountain is relaxing and spacious nice for brunch, the service wasn't bad, maybe because we were in the patio...but they weren't really paying attention to our drinks, taking our orders, or following up for condiments after tood was delivered. Overall still a good experience.

My daughter and I were needing a place to eat on Christmas Day and were excited that Brio was open. We made a reservation through OpenTable. The restaurant is quite large; there's seating outside, at the bar or booths and tables. Many of the tables are covered with paper and crayons are available to draw your masterpiece. We were greeted and seated shortly after arriving. Our servers was friendly and efficient. We were pleased that he communicated to split our pasta dishes. The bruschetta sampler we had with some of the best I've had. The pasta was good too; I would've liked a little more sauce, but we did split it so... The bread brought out before the meal is good, but it's quite crunchy. I would like to see some oil in balsamic vinegar served with that instead of the cold hard butter.

Went here with a reservation for Saturday night and we were sat immediately at a nice table. I found the temperature in the restaurant to be a bit warm but other than that the ambiance was a nice, great Tuscan decor! Our waiter was pleasant and kept the refills coming. I had the beef medallions. They were cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were phenomenal. However the asparagus was a bit cold. We also got the vodka pasta which was solid. We went with the chocolate cake dessert which I'd highly recommend. It was almost dense/moist enough to be a pudding which we really enjoyed. Overall a nice experience.

Great Happy Hour Spot with Tasty Food & Drinks I love the happy hour here--it's daily from 3 to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, and available in the bar area and on the patio. They offer a great selection of food and beverages for just $8. The service is consistently excellent, which makes the experience even better. I've tried the chicken strawberry salad, the flatbread, and the eggplant with shrimp--all were delicious. The sauce on the eggplant and shrimp dish is absolutely to die for! Drinks are strong, flavorful, and well-crafted. While the regular menu is on the pricier side, the portions are generous and the quality is worth it. Highly recommend this spot, especially during happy hour!

Pretty nice place! We came after our matinee so it was right before the lunch rush, but there were a few patrons already dining in (always a good sign) Food was incredible! We got the pasta à la vodka, the sauce was perfect and it was served over cheese tortellini and topped with crispy bacon! The salads were also both really good and the tiramisu is an absolute must. Our first server was really great, young lady; we discussed our love over books and upcoming film adaptations, she was leaving for the day but did not make us feel at all rushed. The second server was ready for us to get out of there. We placed 1 drink order with him and he immediately brought us the bill afterwards so we weren't too pleased with that & honestly have heard about that type of service from other friends. We'll prob go back again but keep a look out on him for next time-- it was like 2P, you're not closing shop, sir!

I had forgotten what a great restaurant this is! We visited on a Sunday around 3pm and the place was (sadly) almost empty. Service was top notch and every dish we ordered came out amazing! I wish it had a little more "buzz" and I hope it does have buzz on a Friday or Saturday night.

Nice upscale spot - white table cloths - some outdoor seating - in a very (VERY) nice part of DFW. In fact, the nicest neighborhood I've seen. Brio boasts a solid tuscan cuisine lineup with crisp service and a classy setup. It feels quite formal - while we were not out of place for lunch, I would have felt more comfortable in a sport coat after the sun goes down. Food was very nice - As with all Italian, it deserves a local and a "real" scale - Compared to other local "chains" - Olive Garden (1.5), Macaroni Grill (3), Maggianos (3.5)... Brio is a solid 4 with some of the better Italian in Las Vegas at a 5. Globally, it really doesn't compare to little hole-in-the wall places in Rome - maybe a 3/5 on that kind of scale. Date worthy - great place to relax - quiet but not uncomfortable. Big open kitchen. They do always seem to take longer than expected - almost frustratingly so.

Fantastic Nepalese/Indian cuisine on Main Street!…read more We stopped by Karma and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is large with a nice bar area and the service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Chili Momos (Veg) and Gobi Manchurian - the momos were super crispy and the sauce was very spicy in a good way! The Manchurian was so saucy and packed with flavor. Recommend both! Mains: Himalayan Thukpa, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta - the Thukpa was the highlight! The broth was perfectly salty with a great umami taste. The Malai Kofta was rich and I enjoyed the cheesy koftas. The Palak Paneer was tasty, but I enjoyed the malai and thukpa more! Dessert: Pistachio Cheesecake - delicious! More like a pistachio ice cream cake, but it was so good and not too sweet! Overall, we really enjoyed our meal! Will absolutely be back!

We ordered a variety of dishes including dahi poori, vegetable pakora, paneer chili, gobi Manchurian, veg chili momo, paneer tikka masala, malai kofta, chow mein, and a naan bread basket. The appetizers were better than the North Indian dishes. The paneer tikka masala and malai kofta were on the sweeter side despite us ordering them medium spicy. The kofta balls were also on the smaller side, and the paneer tikka masala had very few pieces of paneer. The chow mein was the star of the meal. It was flavorful and definitely my favorite dish. For the pakora, they only gave a small amount of green chutney, so we had to ask for more along with some tamarind chutney. There's parking behind the restaurant, which was convenient. If you're in the mood for chaat or North Indian food, I would probably choose a different restaurant.

Once again, this was a wonderful Yelp event. Kendall and Postino's, thank you very much…read more We chose to visit around the time of opening. After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

Initially I came to take advantage of a deal, however, do know that the $25 board and wine combo is only available Mondays and Tuesdays after 8 PM, and we were there around 4:30. However, despite that overlook on my part, the food definitely did not disappoint! We had an amazing server. She was easily available , quick, and accommodating. My friend had some dietary restrictions and she was quick to ask about them, and make needed modifications without any issue. Extremely kind, and fun to be around, she had some great suggestions for items on the menu. The environment was definitely more relaxed, however, the pace was definitely picking up when we left. As I mentioned we were there right before people seem to be getting out of work, and it seemed like a lot of people are making their way and to enjoy an evening meal or happy hour. We easily got a spot in front, however, if there happens not to be any available, there's lots of parking behind Lush on the opposite side of the road. I'm hoping to go back and try one of the boards, I've had one prior at different locations, but I'm sure it would be just as great here!

Moving to Texas a while back, a friend said "never underestimate a restaurant in a strip mall"…read more Craftway Kitchen in Southlake isn't exactly in a strip mall, but in the outlot of a few big box retailers. We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.
