The pizza was hot and fresh. Loved the hand tossed crust. The "dough balls" that they bring you before the meal were also really good. The Mac and cheese was pretty bland..but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix. Super friendly staff (Diana-server) and great music too by the way

If you're cruising through Grapevine and your stomach starts dropping hints, Wise Guys Pizzeria is your next stop. This spot doesn't just serve pizza--it dishes out personality on a plate. Our server, Aiden, was the MVP of our visit, blending helpfulness with charm like a perfectly tossed pie. His tip to try the Gangsta BBQ? Pure gold. A smoky, tangy masterpiece that deserves its own rap anthem. But the My Honey Hot stole the show--sweet heat with just enough kick to warm us up on a Texas day so cold it might've been imported from New York. Bonus points for the complimentary garlic knots: pillowy, garlicky bites of joy that felt like a hug for the soul. Wise Guys? More like Wise Moves if you swing by. Your taste buds will thank you.

The food here is great! They give plentiful servings. Plenty of garlic knots as an appetizer. Our pizza was heavily topped with meats. The service staff seem about high school age. Friendly and accommodating but attention to detail could be better. It was pretty busy on a Friday around 7pm. Some tables still had to be tended to.

    Gangsta BBQ. Sweet and savory.

Started with the garlic bread and garlic and herb dipping oil. Holy Garlicy! You'll keep the vampires away for sure. For the entree, I was so torn but went with my all time favorite Chicken Parm. Thinly sliced cutlets cooked to perfection. At the appearance, I felt I'd be taking half of it home. I did not take any home. It was filling but felt so light at the same time, if that makes any sense. I'll contribute that to the fresh, quality ingredients used. I can't wait to come back and try out more menu items!

I decided on a whim since I was in the area to give it a try again and it's still high quality and probably one of the best Italian in Southlake. I just came back from Italy several months ago so it's not quite Italy standards but let's just say my mom and I both finished our food. None was left for any take home. This is the Italian food where every bite is tasty, but I don't feel like I'm in a food coma afterwards. Not super oily like some of the other Italian U.S. restaurants I've been to. For being in business for so long, I'm surprised they don't have more reviews. A must have for me when I'm back in the area again...

If you are looking for a charming, "no-frills" spot for classic Italian-American comfort food, this is a very dependable option. The absolute highlight of our visit was the staff. The people here couldn't have been nicer! They were welcoming and extremely accommodating, especially when it came to customizing my order. Food: * House Salads: We started with the house salads featuring their homemade tomato vinaigrette. It was unique--it tasted like they might incorporate some of their tomato sauce into the dressing base. It was okay, though perhaps an acquired taste if you prefer a sharper vinaigrette. * Eggplant Parm & Custom Pasta: I ordered the Eggplant Parm and asked to swap the side pasta for angel hair with vodka sauce. They were happy to do it for a small upcharge. The eggplant itself was quite good! My only critique is that the sauce was very chunky (I like a smoother sauce) and the portion of it was a bit overwhelming, but that might just be a personal preference. * Fettuccine Alfredo: My husband went with the classic Alfredo. He described it as a "solid 7/10"--nothing was wrong with it at all, just a standard, reliable version of the dish that satisfied the craving. Final Thoughts Cafe Italia is a sweet little place that is a decent option if you're hungry for the classics and want to be treated like family. We're glad we finally checked it off our list!

I understand that restaurants can get busy, but our waiter walked past our table multiple times while we were waiting, and it took a very long time just to place our order and receive drinks. The food was a bit of a mixed experience. The old fashioned I ordered didn't live up to its price of $14--it honestly tasted like something thrown together at a party versus a crafted cocktail. I also ordered the steak medallions topped with a blue cheese crust and mushroom marsala sauce. It honestly pretty tasty, but it came out with barely any sauce. (Like literally you could barely see it on the plate.) I had to ask for more. My mother had the chicken and spinach fettuccine, which was fine. Not bad, not good, and we all felt it was just OK. At this point, I was going to rate this experience a 3 star originally, but shortly two nights later my father called me, and said he believes he got food poisoning from his dish as he got sick once when he got home from our meal, and again when he attempted to eat his leftovers. Overall, I was severly disappointed. This was supposed to be a celebratory moment for my dad, but instead I feel disappointed and feel a bit cheated out of treating him the way I feel he should have been celebrated. I will not recommend or be returning.
