Soup and pasta. So fresh, so good.

Lunch menu update, still so good. We loved the fettuccini Alfredo and soup. The pizza is excellent. Service is great. It's fresh made pizza, so don't come here if you are in a hurry.

    Meat lovers, thin crust

Popped in for lunch, what a pleasant surprise! First and foremost, it's a pizza place - you place your order at the counter, pay, then they bring it to your table. We placed our order, walked around the corner to find a table and then realized there's a full on BAR in the adjacent room! Overall it's a classic Italian pizzeria, sports bar atmosphere - but what you need to know is the pizza is GOOD. I had the personal meat lovers on thin crust and it was excellent. We'll be back the next time we're in town.

The redeeming thing about tonight is the company of friends I was with and that the manager refunded a portion of our money because they forgot to give us our order of chicken wings. Apparently, there was a misunderstanding because they saw two orders of wings on the table (that belonged to our two friends) and only served us our garlic knots without our order of wings. They did not check or collect the numbers assigned to the separate orders and just assumed we received all the wings we had ordered. Our friends waited patiently for our food to arrive before starting to eat, but it took so long that their two orders of wings were cold after they finally brought out ours. The wings were just okay in my opinion - hot and charred when they did finally arrived. The manager politely apologized for the hour we were waiting and refunded us for the wings. She asked us if we needed ranch and we said yes, but the dressing never came, so we ended up using our friends' ranch. The garlic knots were definitely better than the wings, but be aware they were the size of pretzel bites. The restaurant was noticably busy tonight with a lot of dine-in and take-out orders and inexperienced staff members contributed to our less than great experience. If you prefer a quieter meal, I don't suggest trying the restaurant on a busy weekend or during a television sports event.

Another great pizza meal from Wise Guys. Delicious pepperoni pie, yummy garlic knots, fresh salad.

We had 4 adults and all loved the food and the blood orange beer. Atmosphere is spot on, food is fabulous and staff is always friendly. Shout out to Max who helped us out and made our evening that much better!!! Thank you Max!!

We love Wise Guys. When friends come to town it's always a required visit to share our favorite local pizza spot with others. My Hot Honey with extra pepperoni, might be perfection! For years this was our Sunday night date spot. We had Wise Guys cater our wedding reception. We are truly your biggest fans and supporters. We love your friendly staff, great pizza, and solid beer selection. Some evenings I get a craving and go by myself to have a couple pints while I wait for a to-go pizza. Or after a bike ride we like to get a pitcher or two and a pizza. Of course most restaurant prices have crept up since covid times. I get that. For the most part I'm happy to pay a premium to help keep our favorite pizza place in business so they can afford to take care of their amazing staff. But $12 beer is where I draw the line. When pint prices jumped to $9 we started to realize our bill was getting awful expensive. We would still try to visit once a week or so but no longer could we justify 2+ visits a week. And when we do go we usually just have 1 beer instead of 2-3 beers. Now with our usual beers peaking at $12 a pint or $30 for a pitcher (~7% west coast not a 13% stout or anything) I'm considering dropping to zero beers per visit. I just can't possibly justify vegas prices at a local pizza place. I'll have a root beer next time. I love you guys and can't even bring myself to leave a less than 5 star review. But I promise you this is a bad marketing decision that will result in far fewer beers sold, but more importantly this will erode loyal guest frequency, and overall create negative sentiment and a depleted value proposition.

Documentation of the second call and a very nice review for the associate by the name of Zak.

I am documenting this. I called back again at 5:30 as instructed by the girl that hung up on me. I spoke to an associate by the name of Zak. He was professional. He was courteous and he took my order. The point of this follow up review is to be fair. Hirer good people and they give good service. Hire people who wanna hang up on people and you get bad reviews. The net net is that Zak is a keeper.

First, the staff members who were working that day were incredibly helpful, can't say enough about how good the service was. We had 3 pizzas, wings and lasagna, all were 5 STARS. First time there and we will be back.

But after being told about 90 minute waits, or showing up only to hear they stopped taking orders, I just got tired of the hassle. Great pizza should not feel like a lifestyle commitment. Enter Valentino's Pizza. This pizza is incredibly tasty. The dough is slightly sweet with an outstanding texture. It just works. Nothing is trying too hard. Nothing is being explained to you. You take a bite and immediately get why people love it. It is deeply satisfying in a way that a lot of so called gourmet pizza is not. And the price. The price is crazy low for how good this is. Did I mention the price? This is not a fancy place by any means. The staff is efficient, friendly, and clearly focused on getting good food out consistently. No attitude, no performance, no lecture about ingredients. Just really solid pizza done right. This experience genuinely made me rethink how much patience I have left for the more precious pizza scene. Valentino's reminded me that great pizza does not need rules, certifications, or influencers telling you why it is special. You should just be able to taste it. I ate at another Round Table in Fullerton several years ago, but I honestly can't recall much about it. I searched my email for pizza and found a code for $6 off a large pizza. Since I've given up on delivery (it's too expensive and unreliable), I've placed an order online for pickup. I left almost immediately after I received the confirmation. In planning my route, I knew I had to enter on Katella heading west, which meant I had to swing around the east side of the 55 onto Katella. After pulling in, I realized I could have entered on Tustin just past Miguel's Jr., as the parking lots are all connected. Now I know. Walking in, this reminds me of an old-fashioned pizza place. Although it was older, it was clean and somewhat dark. They had a good-sized game room in the back. They had a salad bar, something scarce these days. I did notice they had Pepsi. Ick. Well, no one can be perfect. The pizza was ready when I got there. They asked if I wanted peppers or cheese (I got cheese), and I was on my way. Upon arriving home, the pizza looked a little burnt, but it certainly didn't taste burnt. In fact, it was pretty dang good. I also passed the microwave test the next day. It was also nicely cut, which I like. I don't mind stringy cheese, mind you, but I don't like it when you pull cheese from the slice next to it.
