I would rate these guys as about average, or a little below, for a dealer of upscale used cars. They're not all that honest as far as the details, and (I suppose like a lot of used car dealers) they just kind of exude a bit of sleaziness and lack of professionalism. The office is okay but kinda gross. The office manager is a young lady who wears a lot of makeup and seems to think she's much more attractive than she is; she's not the _least_ bit pleasant and acts like she's doing you a huge favor signing forms. Car is okay, with a lot of minor niggles that could easily have been disclosed. They offered no paperwork as far as inspections they may or may not have performed, etc., which is too bad. Also, be careful with the financing packages they offer ... very very very high interest rates, although they are prepayable so it's not the end of the world. My sense is that Wiz mostly deals with a pretty skeevy customer base that likes to drive much fancier-looking cars than they can really afford. And I think that's why they behave a little furtively. At any rate, Wiz is just okay. Certainly not the worst used-car dealer out there but far from the best. read more

Purchased a 2019 Volvo XC90 from this dealership and the experience has been extremely disorganized from start to finish. I was told during the sale that the vehicle included a second key located at another dealership, only to be told after purchase that no second key exists and none will be provided. On top of that, I was asked to revise my insurance paperwork around six times due to repeated requests from the sales team, and the financing is still not fully active due to missing or incomplete dealership documentation. Overall, multiple post-sale issues and contradictory information have made this a frustrating experience, and I would strongly advise getting every promise in writing before buying here. read more

STAY AWAY SCAMMERS!!! On July 4th I outreached Wiz Autos regarding 2019 Range Rover HSE with approx 59K miles on the car. I am located in OH and was excited to have a newer car. Prior I had a Infiniti Q80 so I know luxury. My sales person was names Blake who recently parted ways with the company, right after I finally took possession the car. Then the BS begins, all paperwork was completed as of 7/14, I was told due to it being a Range Rover I needed a good warranty, so I agreed on a Continental warranty, gold package (there is no platinum) . I found transport, and I had a feeling they were dragging there feet on releasing me the car, and finally 7/17 Tom Thorndike tells me "the air conditioner was not working, and we put in a entire new one, its working perfectly (BS). I finally get car on 7/20 and drove the car approx 200 miles, before THE AIR GOES OUT AGAIN!! I am not that worried because there is supposed to be a warranty, but I also was not expecting the same air condenser they replaced to go out again. I took the car to RR 8/7 on 8/8 the showed me the video of the cracked condenser that now needs to be replaced due to part installed being OLD. The warranty was supposed to cover something. When I call RR on 8/11 and ask if they called Continental, they tell me, there is no warranty. Long story short: There was a warranty that had not been funded from mid July when the car was purchased. But that was fixed, and then I was told the bill is $3300, and the warranty will only pay $1100. The car is still under the dealer warranty for 60days. The dealership would not take care of this, they would only fix it if I PAID to have it shipped back to Wiz Autos, and back to me, which made no sense as clear they don't do good repairs. I have to pay $2,011 to have the same condenser fixed that was supposed to be fix by the dealer. NO OTHER REPAIR SHOP WILL TOUCH IT!!!So greedy, no one said, if you get this car your on your own, very SAD AND breach of contract. They don't take care of their customers. read more

One of the worst car buying experiences ever. We had some issues with the car within days of purchase. The service team said because the issues weren't happening regularly they were going to fix it. Then they lost the wheel lock key and blamed the detailer. Then we had a major oil leak and they told us they warrantee company required an inspector to look at the damage. When we called the warranty company to verify, they confirmed this was false and sent the dealership a link to simply upload a video. They tried to upcharge the cost, and they dont give loaners. This process took 5 days for an 4 hour job and left us without a vehicle. Lastly, during this process, the dealership failed to provide a K208 (which is required by law). When they finally produced one after several attempts, they provided a false copy with a forged signature. Scumbags! Do not d business with this dealership. I wonder what that DMV will have to say when this gets reported. read more

Had a bad experience working with Wiz. They were unprofessional, sketchy, and poor customer service. I fell in a love with a car at Wiz and was trying to buy the car, which seemed like they could care less. I went in to look and test drive the car (on a Saturday) gave them my credit information and put down a $500 deposit on the car with a plan to return Monday to finalize the deal. The salesperson I was working with agreed to Monday night. He then had to cancel, no big deal. He asked if I could come Tuesday, I said I couldn't but I could do Wednesday. I also explained that I was serious about buying so if he could provide me with pricing information ahead of time because he cancelled, I would come Wednesday to make the deal. He told me he'd get me the numbers Monday or Tuesday. On Monday he told me I didn't give him my credit information, which was frustrating because it had my SS number and all my information- he said he would check again because he couldn't find it in the folder. Tuesday rolled around, I asked for the numbers, he found my credit info. He then told me he was out of the office Tuesday and that Monday got busy and that he would get me the numbers Wednesday at 10am. I reached out Wednesday at 1pm as I still hadn't heard anything. He sent me the numbers with a very high interest rate. I asked for service reports and to see if they could come down as my credit score was high. I then asked to speak with the manager as I realized they didn't run my deposit and I wanted to ensure it was a smooth process and to see what deal we could make. The manager was dissmissive, rude, and threatening. They told me that they had held the car for 5 days now and that I needed to make the deal or they were going to put it back on the website. I explained that I planned to come Monday and now it's Wednesday and your giving me an ultimatum as your salesperson cancelled on me and didn't give me any information so I couldn't do anything. He said that he's always there and I should have came to him on Monday. I explained the his employee told me he didn't want me to come without him there. He then tried to tell me he "did me a favor by not taking my deposit because they were being nice." I explained why I wanted him to take the deposit to ensure, professionally, no one else sold the car while I was waiting on them to buy it. He then told me to walk away from the car if i thought they were "Sketchy." When I tried to explain my experience and how serious I was about the car, he said "I thought you had questions for me, so what are they." Not once did they apologize or try to make it right. I felt like I was begging for a car they didn't care to sell, which seems very odd. I ultimately walked away due to all of this. It truly felt that because I was a woman they thought they could take advantage of me and when I called them out, they became rude and defensive. They called me for weeks, multiple times a day trying to sell me the car. I never responded and ending up buying a car from a reputable and respectful car dealership. Now looking at the site two months later, the car I tried to buy is still available... interesting. read more

Vehicle broke down on the way home. I took it back and they kept my car for 23 days and claimed they fixed it. After attempting to drive it home a second time, it broke down again and refuse to cover the cost for BMW TO REPAIR IT. They are unprofessional and disingenuous. Be careful with them. read more

After consulting with a local mechanic I discovered the vehicle needs almost $10,000 worth of work at the minimum. The back axle has a leak that was obviously there before the sale. It's so rusted that my mechanic is scared that if he touches it, it'll turn to dust so I can't even get it repaired. As you can imagine, I'm rather upset and reasonably so. jaja.. where should I even start with this sketchy dealership. May 2024 I bought a 2016 Audi S3. Not a week later that, the car had a cylinder misfire. I took it in and got it "fixed" . Later those weeks the car began to give me MORE problems. I returned it and got a replacement vehicle which was my 2020 Nissan Sentra. I got my 2020 Nissan Sentra June of 2024. September came and gave me internal control module problems. (a 2020 car). Before that my car would struggle to turn on (or wouldn't turn on at all like this morning) but the air conditioning smelled horrendous. The check engine light on of course, and to top it all off had to push my 2020 SENTRA up a hill because it left me stranded. If I could rate this dealership a -0 I WOULD!! Joe and the company have no morals or integrity. They knowingly sold me a car with a catostrophic engine issue. When I told them of this issue, I had taken the car out of state already and they would not cover any of the repairs. My mechanic said there is no way that this would not have been known about. They did the shady used car dealership fixes to make it drive off the lot only to throw an engine light at the first fill up. Do not buy a car here under any circumstance. I have purchased 3 cars from them over the past 6 years. I take them [and cars I purchased elsewhere] to their Stratford Service Center for oil changes, brakes and repairs, as needed. I have no complaints about the dealer, the cars or the service. They have had the opportunity to rip me off, but never did. I plan to continue to buy cars from them and use their service, and I recommend them to friends and family without hesitation. I imagine any dealer that sells used cars will have some unsatisfied customers - but I don't blame the dealer. If you are worried, pay an independent mechanic to check the car out before you buy it. Bought a used Chrysler Pacifica Minivan with fairly high miles for its age. Less than a year later, I start getting alerts on the dash to service the transmission. Called for an appointment with service, but the car died before I got it in. I had it towed in and it was assessed and diagnosed in timely fashion (turns out it was the battery and not the transmission at all), and the car was ready the next day. Overall a good experience. Repair was timely, staff is friendly. Will look for used cars here again. read more

On 12/28, my mom and I decided to head down to Wiz for a couple vehicles we were interested in. I had worked with Fernando previously, so I asked for him when we got there. He sat us at his desk, and I told him the vehicles I was interested in, and my mom told him what she was looking for in a vehicle. He picked a couple out, and took us around the lot to see the inventory. While we were walking, he was paged to the showroom for customer assistance. We said 'you can help them while we walk' and he responded with, 'I just have to put them in the box (ie finance), but I'll grab the keys so you can take a look at the cars.' He went inside, grabbed the keys, and let us look at the two cars while, we presumed, his customers were in finance. Well, 30 minutes go by, and no sign of Fernando. We looked at the two cars, and waited patiently for him to return. We see him, with a dealer plate in hand, taking his customers on a test drive. He yells out 'I'll be right with you,' as he leaves on a test drive. Leaving us high and dry, we walk in, drop the keys off at the receptionist, and walk out. We went next door, and were there for a little over an hour. Guess what? Fernando was STILL with those same customers. Mind you, that's now almost 2 hours he's been with them. He waved at us from his lot, as we were shopping next door. Balisuis South was prompt, courteous, and listened to what we're looking for. Do yourself a favor and walk 400 ft to the lot next door. read more

The dealership is awesome but the service center is the horrible. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any mechanic. I went to the shop to get a warning light taken care of and ended up having to fix my passenger window, which "just happened to stop working." I worked directly with Jamie, who advised me to come get a diagnostic to see how to resolve the warning light issue. The warning read "headlamp vertical aim control malfunction" after the original diagnostic ($150) they could not determine the exact cause, so Jamie advised I come back for a tear down for 2 hours ($150 per hour) so they could pinpoint the issue. She also stated she was pretty sure the warranty covered this type of issue, and that they would code the tear down as a diagnostic, and the warranty company would cover everything, including the previous $150 I spent on the original diagnostic. On my way home, I noticed the passenger window would not roll up, I immediately called the shop and told the receptionist the window was not working after being in the shop. She advised that she would note it and put in my file for them to work on when I brought the car back. I called back on the following business day to find out if the warranty covered the issue and to ensure that my window would also be fixed. Jamie had no idea about the window issue and advised that she would put a note in the file. At this point, I made sure to make it clear the window was working fine before it came to the shop and stopped working immediately after. Jamie said the mechanic did not work on my window, but she would check the cameras. Later, I received a call that the warranty would only cover the window being fixed and the diagnostic they did to figure out what was wrong with the window, and if I wanted to get the warning light taken care of everything would be out of pocket because they were not sure if the issue was covered by the warranty. I expressed again that the window was fine before I brought it to the shop, and the issue happened there. Jamie said it "just happened to stop working when you brought it to the shop." So at the end of the day, I will end up paying $350 to fix my window ($150 original diagnostic +$200 deductible for window) which was working before I went to the shop, my warning light is still on and I still have no clarity as of how to clear the warning light. read more

Gave them a 1 star because I couldn't give them zero... my experience with the service department was HORRID I bought my car from there less than a year ago & already was having trouble with it. I brought it in & they let me know the problem was with my transmission & I needed a new one. They had my car for THREE WEEKS & didn't do anything to it. They didn't even call the warranty. Implant ( I knew because I did call & they said they did not have any pending claims for my car) every time I would call they would tell me that my rep was out & they would call me back, I NEVER got a call back... not once during the 3 weeks my car was there & I would call every day. They charged a ridiculously high doc-fee and a made-up anti-theft fee for basic anti-theft features that came standard on the car from the factory. This was tacked on to the advertised price making the vehicle way overpriced. Salesperson was misleading on two items. They said the car's cracked side mirror would be repaired when I came to pick up vehicle. Instead, they put body-color tape over the crack and then parked the car close to the building making it difficult to walk around and inspect it closely so it appeared like it was repaired from distance. They also told me I would receive the second key when I went in to sign paperwork. After signing they said it was a mistake and vehicle only had one key. The cost for fixing side mirror and getting second key for vehicle was in thousands. This is on top of the bloated price. Based on this experience I will never do business with this company again and likely NOT deal with an auto wholesale company and instead go to traditional dealership as its cheaper in the long run. read more

The process went smooth but they do hit you with extra fees like a warranty that cost 2400.00 and so forth. Although in the end we cancelled our purchase from Wiz we felt they and the salesman "Gabe" was fantastic. We came to Wiz after looking at over 15 BMW's at various dealerships (including BMW directly). In this market All dealerships Large & Small are purchasing vehicles at auction and it's normal for them to clean them up and perform the required service and re-sell them, WIZ is no different. The X5 we initially contracted to purchase was one of the cleanest and nicest X5's we saw. The car fax history speaks for itself. That night we left a deposit in which WIZ stated it is fully refundable and we felt they would honor their word. The next day with more thought we decided to cancel our purchase and begin the search all over again and switch to the smaller version X3. Called up Gabe told him our change of plans and no questions asked they refunded our deposit. Not once did we ever feel they were "what others have made them out to be". Unfortunetly in this crazy car market there isn't much inventory and purchasing a 7 or 8 year old car with no warranty has its risks from any dealership. Even the flagship dealers do not have warranty's on vehicles older than 2016. Wiz can not predict the outcome of a vehicle after it leaves the lot, but I felt they did a great job in prepping the vehicle more them many of the other dealerships we a deserve this review. read more
