The Team from Lake Zurich did an excellent job on our carpeting, 3 bedrooms and an office. They were very professional.

George and team cleaned and sealed the tiles, using non-acidic products that would not harm the tile or grout.

I was never told my built-ins would be completely removed, I only discovered it after the fact. Had I known, I could have arranged for proper removal, but instead they were torn out in a way that left them unsalvageable, costing me thousands to replace. Afterward, the company pointed to the notes fine print rather than acknowledging the lack of communication. If you use them, insist on a clearly explained scope of work. If you rely on professionals to help you navigate confusing home repairs, like myself, these aren't your guys. Update to response: First, I want to be clear that I don't believe Adam or the company ever acted with any intent to mislead me or cause harm. I think this situation came down to a lack of communication that unfortunately left me in a difficult position. About 90% of what Adam said in his response is true, but none of it directly addresses my actual concern. The real issue is whether the company made sure I fully understood the scope of work. Perhaps Adam thought... what idiot would not see it was obvious that the entire built-ins would need to be removed? Hi... it's me, I'm the idiot and truly I had no idea. I thought only a portion of my ceiling would be affected. Given the huge difference between what I understood and what actually happened, I believe the company should have explained this much more clearly. Like many homeowners, I rely on professionals to explain the scope of work in plain terms. I think that's a reasonable expectation. Adam is correct with my quote below but he left out the part where I explained that my issue was solely that I didn't know the built-ins were being removed. This was never clearly communicated to me, nor was I given the opportunity to remove them properly myself. Because of that, I feel my ability to make informed decisions was taken away. I only reached out to Adam directly later, after another contractor told me the closet could have been saved and that the removal was "unnecessarily destructive." Whether that's true or not, I'll never know. because I wasn't given the chance to find out. To clarify, the note about the built-ins wasn't hidden in "fine print," but it was only mentioned once in the "Other Notes" section. It was never discussed verbally, by email, or over the phone, and it wasn't included in the detailed action items. I don't think a single mention buried in a notes section qualifies as meaningful disclosure, especially when no one pointed it out or explained its implications. Perhaps Adam does. Lastly, the other points raised, like the quality of the closet materials, water damage, or insurance support, are not relevant to my concern. My issue has always only been about the lack of clear communication regarding the scope of work. Thank you.

I do not recommend CWF for many reasons. If I went into every detail, it would probably take me an…read morehour to write and 20 minutes for you to read, so I'll keep it as short as I can. They respond to your concerns very quickly at first, but after that, everything slows down. You constantly find yourself repeating the same information, and many of your questions go unanswered. They're also extremely expensive. My mitigation alone was around $27,000, and they subcontract much of their work to other companies without telling you until the last minute. You hire them expecting them to advocate for you with your homeowners insurance, but you end up doing most of the work yourself. It often feels like they're more focused on making money than providing good customer service. The quality of the work was poor, and instead of taking responsibility for mistakes, they somehow try to put the blame back on you. Recently, I had another contractor come out to give me estimates for a few projects I want to complete after everything is finished. When he found out I had worked with CWF, he shared a story with me. He said CWF once contacted him for a quote on a job, and he estimated it at $900. According to him, CWF later told the homeowner the same work would cost $20,000. The homeowner eventually started calling around, reached that contractor directly, and realized it was the exact same job and estimate. He told me he's seen similar situations before. I could go on with more examples, but the list is long. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend looking for another company.

I will reach out to her to get the service that I deserve. Thank you Vera! Customer service was good, however the service to my couch and mattress were terrible. I have a huge stain on my couch. It looks like dirty water stain. He first cleaned my tan couch, then cleaned my mattress and afterwards there's a huge stain. I have to purchase a new mattress. Worst part they blamed the stain on me and that their work lifts actual stains within the mattress..I CALL BS..

They stated they could have someone out to me 8:00 am and would text me prior (as I said sometimes my baby is still asleep at 7:30 am) - well Tim the technician did text me prior to arriving and he was at my house on time. Not a huge time window for arrival but SET and ON TIME! I love that with a business. The couch did need an overall cleaning as we have not had it professionally cleaned since purchasing years back and I'm glad we went with this company. The fast response, timeliness of arriving, and service of my sectional were all worth the value (which was fair in my opinion). Tim did an awesome job - My couch looks new!
