A fire roasted my main electrical panel on a Thursday. Called Wizard after business hours that night, next morning they were here to assess damage and determine what needed to be replaced. Next day (Saturday) they were here with 4 employees at 7am, they worked until noon and only stopped because after taking things apart they found more that was damaged and they needed additional parts which were not avaliable until Monday. Monday 2 workers were here from 7am until 5pm when they finished. Remarkable work in such a short period of time. Highly recommended.The I first used them 2 years ago to install my Generac. They did a good on time job. Recently after my new barn was completed I contracted with them to install the electrical. Byron and Nathan are true professionals. Our initial visit was fine, I paid the fee, and everything seemed good. They did accidentally drill two large holes through my wall, which were repaired with sparkle and required me to touch up the paint. No biggie. I thought they were a bit expensive, but my initial interactions were good, so I was looking forward to continuing to work with the team. After the work crew left, Brian had mentioned to me that he thought our electrical box was not to code, but he wasn't sure. He said that it would likely be $4,000 to replace. Since we recently purchased our home, I said to please fix it to be up to code. I was happy to schedule that work and leave a downpayment as well. Since he wasn't sure, he told me he was going to have a friend come to look at the box and that he had taken photos. He would call me. Three weeks passed without a call. We had also wanted some additional work done, so I phoned to schedule that and inquire about the box again. Brian answered my call, and immediately said, "I'm on the phone with another customer right now, I'll call you back." Another 3 weeks have passed and he still has not phoned me back. I'm not sure if they are overworked and unorganized, or just unreliable. I'm very disappointed in the lack of communication or follow up with this company. read more

I had to relocate one power outlet due to safety concerns. The original power outlet is connected with a water sprinkler power cord. Wizard Electric unplugged the power cord and relocated the power let to a new location. The water sprinkler power cord was NOT plugged back from the photo I received. I called back to ask why not plug back the power cord. He answered that plugging back the power cord is NOT in the job /contract. He is not sure the power cord is long enough to reach the new power outlet. The problem is that Wizard Electric went to the property for a visual check and provided a price quote. Now Wizard blames the house owner for not mentioning anything about reconnecting the power cord back. Relocating the outlet is the only job, nothing else. Then, what is the point of doing visual checking ahead of time? Why not clarify questions before doing the job? Where is the professionalism? I can hardly imagine they are competent electricians. Guess what is their solution? Relocate the water sprinkler system so that the power cord can reach the new power outlet. Ridiculously smart, but not professional. read more

I can't recommend Wizard Electric. After leaving the job (new electric lights and outlets) the lights in the kitchen didn't work. They came out and put in another switch. Two days later, the kitchen lights were out again. They would not come out and complete the lighting problem or answer phone calls. Also beware of their costs which are high.
