Impressed with Wizard Electronics. They seem like experts at what they do. Got my 1980 Marantz back in operation! They are wizards!

I had a Marantz 2230 and Sansui au-4400 from the 70s and they repaired both in less than 2 weeks.

Stay away!!! This tech shop is very unprofessional. It all started when I called to ask about…read more repairing my personal dvd player, which stopped reading dvds after the warranty expired, go figure. Anyway Daniel whom I spoke with was positive they could repair it. He sad he checked on line and was able to find hits for parts for it, so I went in dropped it off and left my deposit. After two weeks I had not heard from them, so I called for an update. Daniel appeared as if he did not no who I was and after describing my product he said oh yeah sorry I'm real busy here. So after a month goes by no call or updates I made the decision to pick my devise up, because they were obviously pushing me to the back or they just couldn't fix it, either way don't keep me waiting like your doing something when your doing nothing but wasting my time. When I went in to get it Daniel had taken off the four screws that held the back on and said it would take thirty mins to put it back on, I'm like why it took me five mins to take it off when I originally went to check out if it was a loose wire in the beginning so I know he was not telling the truth. I wanted my deposit back and he did not want to give it back. He said that the owner would contact me Via email to discuss the matter, not that he would call but that he would email. Real nice, very professional. Thank god I used American Express, I'll let them deal with it. Mean time please avoid these guys. There shop was very unorganized like one big messy closet of junk.. From beginning to end, the entire experience was a masterclass in disregard and incompetence. I brought in my camera for what should've been a straightforward repair through Geek Squad. Instead what I got: hidden service charges that nobody bothered to communicate to me, ZERO transparency, zero accountability. Management? Non-existent. Staff? Unknowledgeable. And the tone? Intimidating -- pulling a police officer into the mix for god knows what was completely unnecessary. I wasn't being belligerent -- I was asking valid questions and got treated like I was a problem. The "Geek Squad" here couldn't geek their way out of a paper bag. They acted like they know everything, but when push came to shove, they had no answers. Refused to explain extra charges. Didn't tell me what was happening, didn't give me the courtesy of simple respect. To say I'm disappointed is a massive understatement. I want this to be one of the first things discussed at their next staff / management meeting. I want them to feel the weight of this, because they deserve to. If I were running the show for corporate, I'd be looking at shutting this location down -- the level of dysfunction is staggering. They are driving business away, not welcoming it. I will not be returning, and I will make sure others steer clear too. This is how you lose business -- with arrogance, secrecy, intimidation and lack of basic human decency. Corporate: This is your "flagship" or at least major location in Buckhead -- you owe your customers better than this. Fix it, or lose it.
