I needed to add additional cameras to an existing system at a small business in Willow Glen. I was considering a new 16-channel setup found on Amazon, which included 16 4K cameras and new NVR (unknown brand) vs. adding an additional 8 cameras and new NVR (well-known brand) to my existing system. I called Wiztec and Berik was happy to work with me either way, providing the additional 8 cameras but 4K and a new 16-channel NVR, or installing a system that I purchased. He pointed out the advantages of working with my brand, should a problem or camera failure occur. He quoted me a good price, and was willing to work with me during hours that didn't impede our business. His team was very efficient and meticulous, taping paper on the floor beneath areas that required drilling, and cleaning everything up afterward. I previously hired Wiztec to install and service my security camera system, and at the time I was very happy with the quality of their work. Unfortunately, my experience since then has been very disappointing. Over time, the cameras at my shop stopped working, leaving me unable to monitor my business operations. I reached out multiple times, explained that my security cameras were down, and asked to be put on the schedule as soon as possible because this is a critical issue for my business. Despite several attempts to contact them, no one has called me back or made any effort to resolve the problem. A security camera system is only valuable if it can be maintained when issues arise, and unfortunately, the lack of communication and responsiveness has left me with no choice but to find another company. It's disappointing because Wiztec used to provide great service, but based on my recent experience, I can no longer rely on them. Recently I hired Wiztec to install the AT and T fiber optic cable. The AT and T technician recommended Wiztec. I would recommend them. They are professional, they are responsive and they are careful to schedule things efficiently. They are specifically knowledgeable about fiber optic work and also careful with the installation. We have a new home with wood shake and they were able to install without doing any damage. The AT and T technicians were impressed at how they figured out how to run the cable without having to drill any new holes. I plan on hiring Wiztec to do upgrades to our AV systems next. read more
