The food court location was perfect after a morning of outdoor shopping at the Premium outlet mall in Palm Springs, CA. Walking by they greeted us with free samples to lure us in & it worked because the teriyaki chicken is a favorite of mine & a few other non breaded chicken choices made my choice easy! Fast & easy service with flavorful food choices is the way to go here.

Teriyaki chicken and Mongolian chicken. Not bad!
    Michael S.

Wok 360 is located in the East Village Food Pavillion, between 5 Guys and Sbarro's. It was previously called China Max, which had a 1-star rating on Yelp. Ouch. As is typical for a food court, I was suckered into eating here after a tasty sample of chicken on a toothpick. The dining experience should remind you of Panda Express or other Chinese fast food restaurant. Price-wise, I thought it was a more expensive than Panda Express, but the proteins I had (Mongolian chicken and teriyaki chicken) were bigger and better than Panda. I like their thick noodles way more than Panda, but the fried rice was flavorless. No fortune cookie... sigh. I didn't have high expectations, but I wasn't let down either. A little effort to make a better fried rice and this place could see another star. If you like American Chinese food, it's not a bad choice.

Total was like 32 or 31. This was lowkey disappointing. The rice tasted really bland and the noodles were so mid. The protein was okay 6/10. Overall it's a 2/10.

I wouldn't say it's the most traditional (granted, it doesn't claim to be), but overall, it was decent. The Combo Fried Rice and Sticky Ribs took center stage, followed by the Poke Nachos. The Shrimp Wonton Soup fell a bit short, with some of the noodles bundled together, causing parts of it to be undercooked. As for the Salt & Pepper Fish, I personally thought it could have used a bit more salt... Service: Amazing! We sat at the bar and were waited on by an attentive person, with a great demeanor. Sticky BBQ pork rib - it's really a Thai dish but excellently executed, grilled over charcoal and brushed with tangy honey bbq sauce, it's fall-off-the-bone tender and a must-get appetizer/bar bite. Shrimp fried rice - one of the best versions I've had, and that includes Din Tai Fung. It's packed with jumbo prawns and the fried rice was wokked to perfection, so full of umami and flavor. Service was also exceptionally courteous, made me feel like a VIP, even though I was sitting at the bar.

On our journey to Palm Springs my team left the food choices to me since I'm picky. Lol. We showed up on a Wednesday night (note that they do not open Monday and Tuesday), around 4:40 PM. There was already a long line of individuals waiting to get in. There were about 15 people ahead of us. At opening, we were immediately sat down into the second dining room to the right of the restaurant. It gives a different vibe than the main room with its red bench seating and lantern ceiling. Although the benches were high, and the tables were a little low, we managed. Of course, we tried the complementary congee. Which I love, but my colleagues were not a big fan of. We ordered the calamari and the crispy beef noodle. We also ordered the shrimp and mango spring roll, the softshell crab and green papaya salad, and the pork belly lettuce wraps. The shining stars, for my colleagues were the calamari and crispy beef noodle. Followed by the shrimp and mango spring rolls and the softshell crab. The three of us did not enjoy the pork belly at all even though it came recommended. We actually only ate 2 pieces. The food overall was good although we wish we didn't get the pork or at least stuck to our goal of four main dishes. The waitress recommended we get one more and that's when we added the pork. Next time we will go with our gut instinct. One thing that was disappointing on this visit was that when we ordered drinks, one of them came out in a can. We were under the assumption it was a draft pour. For $14 it should have been noted that it is canned. The way that it is written into the menu no one would assume otherwise.

It was a little hard to find the restaurant, especially since the sign is not right over the entrance, but just next to it where the small market is. Look for the Winchester Center sign next to the market. Since we arrived before it opened on a Sunday, we browsed in the market until it was tine to eat. We had a reservation for 6 of us, so they seated us at the one round table near the front. There is another longer table next to it on the left side where there's a colorful mural. The rest of the tables are booths. The restaurant is spacious and roomy and very clean. You can order items from the menu or build your own hot pot which is AYCE. Everyone in our party chose the hot pot. We were each brought a small blue pot that contained the sterno to heat up the soup and the broth of our choice inside. We also placed our meat order with our server. We went to the back-left corner to grab our veggies, and some other things to add to our hot pot. Our server came by often to take more meat orders, clear empty plates, and check if we needed more broth or if our sterno needed more fuel. Our server was delightfully cheerful and friendly. She was helpful and answered all of our questions, especially when we had to choose our broths. (Forgive me for forgetting your name!) I highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation if you have a larger party. Accessibility notes: most of the tables are padded booths. If you can transfer and slide, you should be okay. Otherwise, see if you can sit at a table that has chairs on the left side. The restaurant is spacious enough to park your mobility aid (or stroller for babies) near you. The restrooms are located in the back-left corner, 2 single stall restrooms, one for men and one for women. There is enough room for someone to enter with their mobility aid and a helper companion. You can enter the restaurant without climbing a step, but I don't recall where the handicap accessible parking was since we used a regular parking space and I climbed up the curb. No one from the family is local, but my brother-in-law chose this restaurant because it's somewhere where we can meet in the middle. We all loved it, and are adding it to our rotation when we need to come together for a celebration.

The service was good ,our waitress Serrena was attentative and refilled your drink without having to ask her. The food wasn't bad. The wonton soup kinda lacked the flavorful broth, but adding chili and soy sauce made it better. The garlic chicken wings were juicy inside and crispy outside. They definately didn't skimp on the fried garlic bits, which were delicious. The spicy dumplings had a good chili flavor to it, but you have to watch out for those peppercorns if you're not a fan. The ube butter cake was our favorite. The Ube ice cream with the butter cake together was a fantastic bite. I was disappointed that the edge of the cake was hard like a cookie; however, the middle part of the cake, underneath the ice cream, was still soft. The restaurant wasn't crowded and we didn't have to wait for a table. The restaurant had a nice Asian decor with good lighting and very clean.

Tonight we tried to go eat and the girl behind the counter said she couldn't seat us because the wait was 20 minutes, I said okay we can wait but can we sit at this table and she says no. I asked her if it was reserved and she says no it's not but since there are only two cooks, the wait for food will be awhile and she hasn't taken the orders of two other tables. So what are you doing to where you have customers waiting is what I am thinking because when we walked in, her and the other person there were standing behind the counter. I didn't understand why we couldn't sit and wait and wasn't going to waste my time arguing so we went somewhere else. No food is good enough to wait forever for especially being told we couldn't have a sit and wait because of whatever bs explanation she gave me. Not sure we will be back but who knows....maybe it was one of those days. Update and response to owner: The tables were "reset" and ready for seating. The waitress stated we couldn't sit because there were only two cooks and pretty much all orders were behind 20 minutes. She still didn't take the orders of two other tables and even though I told her we were okay with the wait, she said she still couldn't seat us. In addition to that, besides it being a holiday weekend, I've stated that other times we've had to wait even during the middle of the week. Like I said, food is good, it's the customer service that needs to be worked on. Others may disagree with me but I said what I said from my own experience with your restaurant.
