Today my build a bowl really hit the spot. (Full disclosure I was nursing a hangover and this was the comfort food I needed lol). I love that they offer vegan broth and tons of veggies on their menu. The kiosk computers make it easy to order exactly what you want and customize everything. Food came out quick, piping hot, and bursting with flavor.

I would come back to try their noodles/soups, but we tried their kami kaarage bowls off of grubhub because they were having a bogo deal, and I was not impressed. It's worth it if you do bogo, but idek if my picture does it justice because the actual quantity of food isn't that much. Like you just get a little layer of rice under the chicken. The chicken itself is pretty good in terms of juiciness and crispiness. But it's sooo salty. I was chugging water after because it made me so thirsty.

I came to Jacksonville for work and Soupa Noodle Bar was one of the places that kept coming up on TikTok, so I decided to try it, and honestly it was so worth it. The whole experience was incredible. The place itself is amazing and I love that everything is done through machines, so you don't even have to talk to anyone if you don't want to. The decoration was one of my favorite parts because it has this fun anime vibe, everything is super colorful and visually really pleasing. They even have little arcade machines where kids can play, and honestly adults can too. It gives the place such a cheerful and lively atmosphere without feeling overwhelming. It was completely packed and still, my food came out before I even sat down at my table, which blew my mind. They have so many options and I love the fact that you can build your own bowl exactly how you want it. They offer two sizes, a kid size and a large size. I eat a lot and even the kid size was perfect for me because it left space for appetizers. I ordered takoyaki and they were insanely good, super fresh, hot and flavorful. I also got a jasmine and honey boba tea that was refreshing and really delicious. Another thing I loved is that they have Happy Hour every weekday from Monday to Friday from three to six, and on Saturdays and Sundays from three to five. It's honestly worth it because you can order several appetizers and even ramen bowls at a lower price, which makes the whole experience even better. There are tons of dessert options, ramen variations and appetizers to choose from, so you're definitely not going to run out of things to try. Between the three things I ordered, I spent about twenty five dollars, and I would one hundred percent come back. If you want ramen that comes out fast and tastes amazing, this is the place to go. The broth was full of flavor, the ramen was piping hot and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I honestly wish I could go back ten more times. If you're in Jacksonville or live nearby, this is definitely a spot you need to check out.

I have been to this place a few times before. I really love their ramen selections, as well as their Dragon Ball Z decorations inside. These pictures that I am posting are from 2021, when there was a Dragon Ball Z comic con event being held there. There were a lot of folks dressed up like random Dragon Ball Z characters and random awesome vendors that day. I have been attending every year since 2021. I do hope that they decide to return this year, as I would definitely attend that event.

First time trying out Soupa noodle bar. We ordered shrimp tempura and 3 different flavors of ramen. The service was fast and efficient; the ambiance was family friendly, and if you like anime, you would enjoy the interior of the place. Would recommend it if you are in town and want some quick dinner.

Soupa Noodle Bar is a great place to grab a bowl of ramen, especially if you want a full-on anime vibe. The decor is playful and unique--anime art on the walls, Japanese-style toy vending machines, cozy booths and tables, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Make sure to check out the variety of drinks (both alcoholic and non) available. Some great picks direct from Asia. Soupa offers a solid variety of broths ranging from pho and curry to miso and vegetarian. My go-to most everywhere is Tom Yum and I'll usually choose the Build Your Own Bowl option to get the ingredients that I prefer. The toppings are fresh, and there are plenty of add-ons like bok choy, steamed shrimp, bean sprouts, herbs, and more if you want to customize your bowl. Their appetizers are also worth trying. You can never go wrong with edamame or dumplings. Seriously tho, how is it that it took me until today to find out they have a RAMEN HAPPY HOUR? Check my picture that shows the Happy Hour menu and times (3-6 pm on Mon-Fri and 3-5pm on Sat-Sun). I had just finished a matinee movie at Tinseltown and wanted a little something to eat, and that was an extra surprise. All-in-all - service is quick, the staff is chill, and the whole place just has a fun, relaxed energy. Whether you're a ramen enthusiast or just in it for the anime vibes, Soupa definitely stands out from more traditional ramen places in Jax.

Absolutely love love love this place! The service is always amazing and the food is even better! I always do a make your own bowl and it's delicious and always enough to take home.

If you like anime or even have a hint of liking to it, or just love noodles. It just hits different, the bowls were all super reasonably priced as well as being quite a lot of food. I got Pho-Base... gluten free and sirloin steak, super flavorful and it made the chilly day feel great

A dragon ball z and anime themed ramen spot where you can customize your own ramen. They also have options you can order as is. They offer many ways to customize, giving multiple options for your soup base and plenty of options for protein, toppings and more. My recent order here I did build your own bowl option and got chicken with egg ramen noodles. The chicken was unappetizing, I got like 4 little chunks of chicken total and it was chewy fat and gristle, pretty gross and threw off the meal entirely. If I could change anything I would have simply not gotten any meat. It's definitely not the most impressive nor flavorful ramen I've ever had but it's also not terrible because of the speedy service and the options to customize. Not a regular spot for me and I think I need to explore more options to get a better experience.

Tried Soupa Noodle Bar after someone recommended the spot to my boyfriend and I. I ordered the veggie ramen and veggie dumplings while he tried the Karrage Chicken Kami Bowl and Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. The ramen was soooo flavorful and was such a huge portion. I could have done good with just the kid size. I definitely had leftovers for the next day which tasted even better as the broth marinated the noodles overnight. My boyfriend enjoyed his option as well to the point he has ordered it a handful of times afterwards. I also love the atmosphere of the restaurant as it is Anime theme and they also sell merch as well. The establishment is cashless, however, I have always ordered via the website and only ordered twice in store. Only critique I do have is that they have two separate reward programs, one for ordering online and one for ordering in store. I wish both reward systems were integrated into one as both reward programs offer different incentives.

I loved Soupa Noodle Bar! We went for the first time on a chilly day in January and were greeted while browsing the menu. The employee explained how it worked and that it was happy hour meaning the bowls were only $10 each. I made my own with veggies and shrimp and also got the steamed shrimp shumai for only $5. I also had a boba tea. I think next time I will choose the actual premade veggie bowl since some of the veggies I clicked on the screen were left out of mine. My fiance got a premade bowl (I forgot which one, but he loved it) with the philly egg rolls app and a thai tea. We couldn't believe how huge the portions were! The ambiance is fun and the service was great. We will definitely go back! Great experience and great big bowls of soup!

Excellent the food was great. I'm not an anime fan. I brought someone who is. They liked and loved their appetizer and soup. They bought tokens to use the machines.

Honestly the food was really good. And I feel like this has been the best ramen I've had in…read moreJacksonville. The chicken karaage was probably my favorite of the night. It was super crispy, but the meat was still so juicy. And the sweet and creamy sauces just finished the perfect bite. The ramens were pretty solid too. The matcha broth was super creamy and light. And the tonkotsu was so flavorful, with really tender chashu and a perfectly soft boiled egg. Plus the noodles were a really good texture. The restaurant itself is really cute too. They also have a convenience store type of ramen station in the front, which I really want to try. As well as a little arcade game that you can play in the front while you wait to be seated. However, I was really not a fan of the service. It's nothing really against the servers because they were super nice, but they just seemed so frazzled. We arrived around an hour before closing, but it took forever for us to be seated, despite seeing a few empty tables around. By the time we were seated, we were told kitchen would be closing in two minutes, so we had to hurry and put in our orders. All of that was fine and I didn't mind. But what I did mind was that our waitress checked our order twice when we first have it. And she came back to our table within the next five minutes to check our orders again for a third time to make sure she had down what we wanted. I wanted the matcha ramen and was most looking forward to having some chashu and egg. So she confirmed my order three times that I wanted matcha ramen. But when it came out, she gave me the vegetable bowl. I knew the kitchen had closed at that point, so I just ate it, but I was really disappointed. (I did get to try a bite of my friends egg and chashu, which also didn't really help because it was so good and made me wish mine came with those even more.) When we were finished eating, it took forever for the checks to come out. This I also didn't mind that much, because the servers, again, looked really frazzled trying to close up. But at this point we had waited until well after their closing time, so part of me was hoping they could just close us out first and then finish closing down the place. I think we waited at least half an hour from when we first asked for the check (at which point we had already been waiting a while) to when we finally got our cards back. I did see they charged me for the vegetable version of the matcha ramen so it was whatever, but then also I was confused - so it wasn't a mix up in the kitchen, she rang it up as the vegetable one from the beginning! Even though I never mentioned it and she never said vegetable when confirming my order. It was a dollar less to get tofu instead of an egg and chashu which doesn't seem worth it. Writing this all out, I'm sorry to rant, because the food really was good. And looking at other reviews, it looks like the service is usually pretty good. But again, it was just disappointing. That being said, I am really hoping it was a one off thing because I would go again and try some other menu items too.

She was patient as my wife and I and a few friends reviewed the large menu with her, and followed up throughout our meal. The second was the food We started with sharing an appetizer of garlic soy fried chicken wings and dumplings...very tasty Then I had Tonkotsu Ramen and my wife had tempura udon... both were large servings, with home made noodles and a favorable pork broth with fresh vegetables. Mine had a 3 pieces of a thick cut pork and egg in the broth what was really surprising was when the dessert came... I think it was called mango Bing Soo... What it is, is a huge bowl of shaved ice with Mango and cream. It was delicious... and perfect for after the main dish we ordered... and I would go there just to get that dessert alone.... I don't normally take my time to recommend a place but I recommend this one as a find .. highly

I rate it as a pretty good Asian restaurant with some minor flaws that can be easily fixed. BUT! I'll say up front that I didn't find any flaws with my meal and chosen beverage! Yes, I would certainly eat or do takeout here again! The good here, were the meals. The ramen, hibachi, and the dish that Lea ordered were sizable, filled with good meats and veggies - not just a rice or noodle stuffing. My hibachi with shrimp was cooked superbly! There was a nice orange sauce on the grilled shrimp and it was seared perfectly. I was a happy man. But it also came with fried rice (you can choose plan white rice too) and mixed veggies. It was a full meal indeed! Had to take some of it home. Jimmy also had the hibachi meal with chicken. He conquered his full meal - I don't know how! Goldie had one of the Japanese Tonkotsu Ramen bowls with chicken. It was filled with meats, vegetables and other items that she enjoyed for her evening meal. Given we ate on a Monday, it was pretty slow here - but there were a good number of carryout pickups too. My only real negatives was that the service was slow. It took quite a while to get my meal to me our server said it was because the carryout orders slowed things down inside. They had one server working on this evening and she was gracious and took pretty good care of us. The one other item we talked to each other about as far as this shop is concerned was the lack of air conditioning. It wasn't hot, but it was pretty warm inside. Yes, it was a very hot day and this restaurant has a large space to cool. So I can understand the need to conserve, but others may not. All in all we had a nice, relaxed evening with lots of jokes and smiles! This was a great place to meet up and I certainly would visit again! Recommend: HIGH
