Terrible, terrible, terrible!! They are literally the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted in my life. Everything were deep fried and disgusting. The fried dumplings were hard as rocks and inedible. We ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and ended up with more deep fried breading than shrimps. It has been six hours since I've eaten there and I still have this sick and nasty feeling in my stomach. If you really want some Chinese fast food, please do yourself a favor and just get some panda express. I thoroughly regret my decision to eat there and will not be returning. read more

It's late, you don't feel like cooking, and your stomach is growling loud enough for the neighbors to bang on the wall. It's time for some delicious Chinese food and Wok House is the place I call. I've only ordered delivery, but they've been a consistently solid choice. My favorites are the Hot & Sour soup which is filled to the brim with veggies and the Singapore Chow Mei Fun with its spicy curry flavoring. If I do deviate from the usual their General Tso's Chicken is great along with a couple of crispy egg rolls (hot mustard FTW). Portions are generous and I almost always have leftovers. Their online ordering can sometimes get wonky, but ordering over the phone is fine. read more

Not much to report with Wok House. It's not like we had really high hopes. Take-out Chinese is never very exciting, even in major foodie cities, so a place like Wok House in the Jax 'burbs is already facing an uphill climb. But every now and then that urge hits. I've fended it off for months now. Then, I caved. We tried Wok House. I'd already lowered my expectations before calling in the order, and lowered them again as the delivery time went beyond the reasonable delay period. The General Tso's chicken combo and chow mei fun were edible. But you know that feeling you get sometimes from Chinese take-out, where you think it's pretty good or OK while you're eating it, then a little later on your stomach feels like you ate a box of rocks and you decide that, no, it wasn't that good after all. Then you decide the leftovers aren't worth reheating. Even your egg roll disappoints the next day (and let's just say you think that, like lasagna, egg rolls are as good or better the second day). That's what take-out from Wok House was like. In contrast, we liked China Garden better. Their food had more flavor, didn't bog down in your belly, and arrived much faster. Try them if you're looking for Chinese take-out in this area. As for Wok House, we can't really recommend them. read more

I ordered the honey chicken with fried rice with additional vegetables (bamboo shoots and water chestnuts) added to the fried rice along with crab ran-goons and doughnuts. I like their online ordering format. You can customize each dish exactly like you want it. Honey chicken was in a heavy honey glaze, sweet and tender and I especially liked the fried rice. The crab ran goons were very tasty triangles and easier to dip in sweet & sour sauce than traditions folded up ones. All was enough to feed 3 adults and everything was pretty tasty! They put extra care in packaging everything up so nothing leaked out in the bottom of the bag. We'll appreciated! The Food Here is Really Good, Lunch Specials Run from 11am-3pm and the specials selection is very generous. My absolute favorite dish there is the General Tso Chicken with the pork fried rice, amazing dish that puts Panda Express to shame! I downed 2 glasses of water most of it ended up in the trash. The Beef Teriyaki was dry with little to no flavor but at the same time had fatty pieces that I had to spit out. Before I start this review I will say the food was good. My issue came with the delivery. The reason why I ordered is because I notice they did free delivery which was great. When you go to pay you add in the tip and they give you the total. When the food arrived I gave the driver the cost and tip plus a few dollars. He asked me if I needed change and so I chuckled and said just give me back a dollar..AND HE WALKED AWAY MAD! I have been ordering from Wok House now for over a year and a half now and it never disappoints! The food is always prepared fresh and whether I go and pick it up or have it delivered it is hot and so fresh! The delivery is always dependable and really fast! I always have a hard time not ordering the entire menu and somehow I always end up with a feast that lasts for days! I have had so many items off their menu and everything is sooo delicious. A typical order would be roasted pork egg rolls ( I have had the shrimp egg rolls but there not my favorite) steamed dumpling that are made in house, a soup of some sort, I personally love their egg drop soup but sometimes switch it up and order the wonton soup or hot and sour soup. Always have to order the chicken lo mein because the flavors are on point! I love the fresh veggies and big pieces of tender chicken mixed throughout. The last time I ordered from here I tried the cream cheese wontons and they are a new favorite! The entress are perfectly executed too some of which I love include the sweet and sour pork, garlic chicken, general tso's, honey chicken, sesame chicken to name a few. I ordered steamed dumpling for my boyfriend when I got home they were like rubber on one side and perfectly fine on the other, like they had been under a heat lamp or reheated or something like that. I called and they asked me to come back so I did the lady had already remade the food which was nice but at this point it's 9:15 and my boyfriend doesn't want anything anymore because he has to wake up early for work. So I asked for a refund because why would I take food to throw it out? She then started speaking in another language which made me feel like she was talking bad about our current interaction. Maybe I'm just assuming but it made me feel bad due to the timing in which she chose to speak in another language. I have no issue with that, like I said timing. Her attitude also changed after I asked for the refund so. Yeah so now my food is going cold at home. Gas is also over 4 dollars right now so that's another thing. They overly pack the lunch platters. Most times I have enough for a whole other meal. The place normally isn't too busy, and the delivery has pretty good timing. I ordered delivery on a Monday evening and was told 45 min. wait. Too long for a week night but I could not leave the house. After over an hour, I called them to find out that my food was delivered to someone else's home. She "assured" me that they did not touch the food. How would she know that? The driver had to go retrieve it from them. When I said it was completely unacceptable, I was told, "I'm sorry". Outraged, I then demanded, at least, a partial refund and after some debate was told they could credit me $3 on a $20 order. Food finally arrived an hour and ten minutes after my call. I live less than 10 minutes away. They will not have my business again. I have no idea what their food tastes like but I know not to eat it. This establishment delivered food to my house to my teenage son. My son was confused so he called me to see if I had ordered it, I said no and to throw it away. As a courtesy I called Wok House to let them know they delivered to the wrong home. After being on hold a lady came to the phone and I explained what happened and that I didn't want someone to not get their order. She started screaming at someone in another language and then said "he will be back for food". I told her no that they were not to come back to my house and for them to get the food and redeliver broke health codes and was simply gross. Again she said they were coming to get it. I called my son and told him to not answer the door. The driver shows up 5 minutes later and continuously bangs on our door and was literally screaming in my drive way for almost 10 minutes scaring my son. I can not believe they would want to pick up cold delivered food that someone had their hands on or in this case in the garbage and give it to the next person. Just gross. Behavior completely uncalled for. Stay away. I can recommend Hot Wok down the street, they have been delivering to us for 6 years. read more

Ok when it comes to the fast Chinese food that I have had in Jacksonville I will rate this place a star above some other. The size of the lunch plate was very acquitted for the price. The fried rice was good, not dry or sticky so ok it was just right to my liking. The next test will be when I order my favorite, Egg Foo Young, if it is good then I know the place does it right. To start off safe I order the L19. General Tso's Chicken, and they would have messed that up I would not be taking the next step of the egg foo young. So if you are in the area and need a good hot lunch bring $6 and enjoy some Wok House. By the way I used the online service to order at 10 because they open at 11.
