I decided to try Wok Inn for dinner since it was conveniently located in a shopping plaza with a CVS and Walmart. I ordered Chicken Lo Mein, Shrimp Fried Rice, Chicken and Broccoli, Crab Rangoon and an order of the Chicken Wings. The Lo Mein was fairly okay, but barely had any pieces of chicken in it. The Fried Rice and Chicken Wings were surprisingly bland. Not sure how you can go wrong with Chicken Wings, but these needed some help. The Chicken and Broccoli was okay as well. I was yelled at for asking for food that didn't come in my bag, they told me they where slow and had placed everything in there and there was no way they didn't. I wouldn't have drove back for no reason plus I used door dash to order my food before and this time two items where missing they told me the rice was only one but my receipt shows other wise. I let the rice go cause I couldn't get a word in. Then I was told to just get your order refunded and then reorder your missing item? Like this ain't how you treat a customer. All I wanted was my missing food and two of them fought with me. Poor guy had to say she did say she was missing food but they kept saying get us refunded and deal with door dash. Like I was being nice by asking for what I paid for, I didn't ask for money back or free food just what I ordered. I'll never order here again. We decided to order from here through Uber eats. The prices were higher than average, something I've noticed that happens when using food delivery apps. Overall the food was pretty subpar, definitely not as good as other Chinese takeout in the area. The shrimp in the shrimp with lobster sauce dish had that iodine taste you sometimes get with shrimp and the peas were undercooked and still hard. Beef Lo mein and bourbon chicken were also ordered. The bourbon chicken had an interesting look to it. It didn't appear like any bourbon chicken I've ever seen before and actually reminded me of pork, strictly based on appearances. The texture was very different from what you'd typically expect. The beef Lo mein was fine and was what you would typically expect. All in all, not an impressive experience. Chinese food is pretty hit or miss and despite being from Manhattan, I don't have impossible standards for Chinese food and am ultimately pretty easily satisfied, however with the amount of places you can order Chinese takeout, this one fails to make an impression. read more
