Two huge aluminum trays of chicken and vegetable fried rice were picked up from The Hibiscus and transported to a private pumpkin carving pool party in my subdivision for ten hungry guests. The chicken was tender with a lightly seasoned skin and packed a welcoming flavor. I dabbed the chicken with a red pepper sauce which unexpectedly sent shocking heat through my veins and quickly switched to a mild soy sauce for my second plate. As I scrolled through the extensive online menu, there were a few items that sounded appealing including the Jerk Wings, Lamb Chow Mein and Ox Tail. Prices hover around $17.50 per entree and The Hibiscus specializes in West Indian Chinese & Caribbean cuisine. All of the meats are certified Halal and offer local delivery and catering.
