He feels their quality has been the same and consistent, where I feel like the quality has gone downhill. We moved to Ocala last year and have been to this location several times. The first time we visited, there were not any issues, besides waiting forever for our food. The wait for the food is usually bad, even though every time we have visited this location, it was not busy. We usually order breakfast sandwiches so maybe that is why. I usually get the sausage and cheese on a biscuit. It used to be my favorite but the past couple of times, it was very dry and less flavorful. I also order the Cajun chicken on a biscuit and that was very dry/old chicken. The Bo rounds are absolutely amazing!!! That is still a favorite but they also discontinued the Bo Sauce, which went amazingly well with the Bo rounds. Ever since my last visit, when I found out about no more sauce, I have not visited since. I might join my husband if he wants Bojangles but I would much rather indulge in another restaurant in the area.

When I was last home at moi beach house, "The Surf Shack" in Pensacola a neighbor told me that the new owner of Lee's lives in Pensacola/Ft Walton beach & we might get a "Lee's Famous Recipe" in Pensacola! The worst one we have ever had. It has the worst fake cinnamon flavor just horrible. Skip it. The potato wedges also horrible. They are soft & a strange texture. Skip those too. Now for the good news: Everything else was Amazeballs! Everyone LOVED all of it OuiOui. The chicken is fantastic. The tenders are also fantastic. The liver is the best one we have ever had. The waitress intercepted me asking what I needed . I replied , "the butter we asked for the now cold mashed potatoes. She proceeded to microwave the butter and deliver it. Clearly I don't now work in the restaurant business, but an ice cream scooper of hot mashed potatoes with the butter would've been appreciated. When we asked for the bills the waitress had no idea who for the most part had what. We had to go over with her and itemize each item. She proceeded to show us how to pay on a tabletop thing. I was charged for an order of mozzarella sticks, but they were missing from my bag. Because I work overnight, I couldn't return that evening. The next morning, July 11, 2026, between 7:00 and 7:15 a.m., I returned to the drive-thru and asked to speak with the manager. I politely explained the situation, showed her my receipt, and even had the order label from my bag. Instead of trying to help, she immediately told me there was nothing she could do. She repeatedly blamed me, saying it was my responsibility to check my order before leaving the night before and that I should have returned immediately. I explained that I was on my way to work and simply asked for either the item I paid for or a refund. She refused and told me I would have to come back at lunchtime if I wanted a refund. When I told her that wasn't good customer service, she accused me of giving her a hard time, even though I remained calm and respectful throughout the conversation. I then asked why she seemed so upset when I was only requesting what I had already paid for. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, she became visibly agitated and slammed the drive-thru window in my face. I am 39 years old, and I have never been treated with such disrespect over such a simple and reasonable request. The manager's behavior was shocking, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Based on how she acted, I genuinely believe something was seriously wrong, and I strongly encourage upper management to review her conduct. Please review the drive-thru security footage from July 11, 2026, between 7:00 and 7:15 a.m. It will clearly show that I remained respectful while the manager was hostile and refused to provide basic customer service. I hope the owner or corporate office investigates this incident so no other customer is treated this way.
