My go-to order: Bún Bò Huế (rich, flavorful, and spicy), and Grilled Pork Bánh Mì (perfectly toasted bread with super fresh ingredients). Why I keep coming back: The dining room is always buzzing with energy, yet the service is incredibly fast. You won't have to wait long for your food!

It has been one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants-and one of the only places to serve the Vietnamese pancake that I love. I sat down, getting ready to contemplate the menu. I was shocked to see it was a brand new menu. I asked my server about it, and he concurred that it is a new menu, but that the owners had taken many of the former choices off. . NO more fried rice-always my grandson's favorite. Although I was disappointed when it was time to order, I chose the Mixed Protein Bun. I requested shrimp and eggrolls. It is a bowl filled with rice noodles, shredded lettuce, cucumbers, shredded carrots, and your choice of protein. It also comes with a generous portion of fish sauce. After one bite, I knew that the old chef must have left. My food was so bland. To start with, I don't think it was salted at all..... which quite often affects the flavors negatively. There were no other spices or sauce or anything tasty in my bowl. I was very disappointed. I didn't even eat a quarter of the Bun. I didn't take the rest to go and I won't be returning, unless I see that they have returned to their former style of cooking. So I'll definitely be watching the reviews. It makes me very sad to have to write a negative review, especially about a place. I have enjoyed so much in the past!!!

I will say they used spinach instead of bok choy for the vegetable but I was ok with that. The service is super fast, too. It looked like they expanded their menu since the last time we ate here. We opted for a Shoyu Beef Ramen Soup and a Hot Pot Beef Noodle Soup. We grabbed our water cups and a carafe filled with iced water from their beverage fridge, and chose our table to sit at. We chose a location away from the front entrance, which faces west towards the sun. Our food was quickly brought out to us less than 5 minutes later, and our soups were very good. They have a very spicy broth for their Hot Pot Noodle Soup, which P2 really enjoyed. I was also happy with my shoyu ramen, which I thought was seasoned perfectly. The music here wasn't loud and it was easy to carry a conversation. The interior aesthetics of this place reminded me of a Japanese restaurant, despite this restaurant servicing Taiwanese fare. Unfortunately, they don't sell alcohol here. I would have loved to drink a beer here with its solid vibes. I took off a star because of the blinding sunlight that pours into the space. Each time we came, we had to be strategic on where we sat so that we or our friends didn't have to face the sun. But other than that, Noodly Alley continues to be a reliable choice for authentic Taiwanese food.

I uploaded their recent menu items as they have a new staff and are still in the process of training them to serve their whole menu again. My personal favorites that I get on rotation each time I come are the Banh Cuon w/ Pork (Vietnamese Rice Cake), Large Banh Xeo (w/ no squid), and Com Ga Di Bo (Rice Plate w/ Boiled Chicken). I always order a side of Goi Cuon Nem Nuong with my respective entree as well. The Sugar Cane Juice is absolutely delicious, fresh, and not too sweet. The service here is always friendly, attentive, and timely. Nice relaxing atmosphere with television and restaurant music for your dining experience. Definitely recommend for all my fellow Vietnamese food lovers!

I ordered their pho with meatball and 2 orders of their beef on the side. Their pho only has one size which I assume is their large, cuz it's huge! It comes with 3 meats of your choosing. I thought I ate a ton, but when I was close to full, it looked like I didn't eat any at all. My husband ordered their B1 grilled pork and fried eggroll vermicelli bowl. Safe to say, this place has texas sized portions! We will definitely be back cuz I always crave pho when it's rainy season. There were only 2 servers who were constantly running around, due to a large party; but they were very attentive. Lots of seating, pretty spacious restaurant!

Since ownership changed, so has quality. I usually dine in. There is food splattered on the walls adjacent to the tables. I noted lil greasy hand prints on the mirror the last time I was there...and they were still there. 7 weeks later. There is no table service aside from bringing food out. It's a choose your own adventure when getting your own utensils, You order and pay via a computer kiosk and takeaway containers are extra $. A tip is part of the process. The tofu is straight out the container. If you ask to heat it in a grill the response has been that the food has already been prepped. $6.50 for a boiled prepped chicken breast ON TOP of the near 10 bucks for salad and carb. Today got the healing soup. It was weightwatchers 80's soup with cabbage, celery, canned tomatoes and red pepper flakes. Not bad, but not healing or worth 6 bucks for a cup. The noodles are nice and bouncy, but aside from the oil to keep them sticking, you have to pay for any seasoning (dressing, Sriracha etc). I have come back the last half dozen times and it hasn't improved. I'm sorry to say I will no longer be a patron. The prices are not reflective of quality or service. The attached photo is a $20 meal - cup of soup, side of noodles and a hot tea.
