If you ever find yourself wandering through Houston's underground tunnels and craving something bold, fresh, and just plain satisfying, Wokker is the spot you don't want to miss. I stumbled across it during a lunch break, and I'm so glad I did. Wokker blends Asian flavors with Southern comfort in a way that feels both creative and comforting. The moment you walk up, the aromas alone pull you in--garlic, spice, smoky char from the wok... all the good things. I ordered the Korean Smoked Brisket Bowl, and honestly, it might be one of the best lunch bowls I've ever had downtown. The brisket was tender with just the right amount of sweet heat, and the veggies had that perfect wok-fired crisp. Their rice is fluffy, the sauce is addictive, and the portion was generous without being overwhelming. I also tried their Brisket Egg-rolls on a friend's recommendation, and wow--spicy, crunchy, and ridiculously good. Perfect for sharing... or not sharing. Service was quick even during the lunch rush, and the staff was friendly despite being busy. The tunnel-level atmosphere isn't anything fancy, but Wokker brings all the personality through its food. Please get served by Christine! If you work downtown or are just exploring Houston's hidden underground maze, Wokker is absolutely worth the detour.

We walked down to the underground food court in downtown and this was the place my sweetheart picked out. Definitely a great selection. I got the Korean pork belly fried rice as suggested by the person at the register and he got their chicken dish that is pictured in the food menu. Both were so good! I recommend this place and would definitely come back!

A bit underwhelming... chicken wasn't very crispy or flavorful. On the greasier side too... I did like the ranch on the side though. I could see myself enjoying it more if I was drunk!

The customer service was great, he helped me with any questions. The food was delicious, everything has so much flavor. The pork belly was crispy and juicy. The vibe here is nice, everyone is doing their own thing and there's old school arcade games.

We came here late on a Sunday because we wanted to deviate from The Post. I'd previously been to this hall when it was known under a different name and had some different vendors. We ordered four items to split and we were filled before finishing our meal. My biggest highlights were the brisket egg rolls and brisket curly fries with double meat. I think these two dishes were really packed with flavor. The jalapeño bites were delicious but the contents were still very hot even after I waited a while to taste them and I spent more energy trying to avoid burning my mouth and the contents falling out of my mouth. The Chicken n Greens dumplings were also good. They may have been a slightly overfried because they weren't as juicy as I would have expected but that was a quick fix with the sweet n sour sauce. Staff was friendly and considering how many orders we had ahead of us, the food was prepared quickly. I can't complain about having fresh quality food. This was by far one of the best meals I'd had all week and certainly in the last month.

Came in Hungry and really excited to try the food. Honestly it didn't do it for me, the food was a little bland and no soy sauce available to spruce it up. A little let down after reading the reviews. Customer service was nice. It's located in a cute little underground eatery

My husband ordered the brisket curly fries and he loved them so much we came back the next day so he could get them again. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend checking them out. The atmosphere in the Underground Hall where Wokker is located is worth the trip alone!

Looks good, sounds good, but mediocre at best! Often I find to many restaurants covering up and flavor they may have had with too much hot pepper or a sugary sauce. I would call this place a food mall, or a food court, buts more of food truck quality and not the great kind. Service was slow for the time I was there, not sure if they made it fresh tasted older, and I'd call it expensive too.

This food is very average. It was too spicy and didn't really have much flavor. I would not come back. The underground food hall is cute though.

Oh man, first time coming here, and definitely will not be my last. Something like a hidden gem, but I'm not a Houstonian, so perhaps a lot of people know about this place... Lol the food was really good! The chicken was just a little bit dry, but full of flavor, the fried rice was absolutely amazing though! And it was season to perfection.we also got the eggrolls, which weren't too bad, but I wasn't crazy over them. Perhaps next time I will try the vegetarian roll since I do not eat pork. The service was cool, nothing, extra, ordinary, and the ambience was very quiet. , but also had a hard to describe, scent in there... It almost reminded me of a place with a bunch of water... I'm not sure if I'm describing it correctly...

Cozy, well decorated restaurant with the perfect brunch atmosphere!…read more This place can get busy especially on the weekend, and so I highly recommend getting a reservation! Came here for brunch and they have a unique menu that puts an Asian spin to some classic dishes. A dish I will never stop raving about is the scallion waffle. It comes with a sambal honey butter that pairs deliciously with the crispy waffle. You can add the orange chicken for $10 and honestly, worth because it's crunchy, sweet, and adds a nice protein component to the waffle. Two other apps I really loved were the crab dip (which comes with a sweet and spicy jelly super super good) and the shrimp ceviche style app (can't recall the name but super tangy and fresh) my only complaint about the shrimp is that the cracker it comes with is way too salty. Overall, great menu!

The restaurant has a sunny and bright atmosphere with plenty of room. I started with a well prepared Bloody Mary. I ordered the Char Siu Eggs Benedict and my wife ordered the Orange Chicken and Waffles. In a faster than expected time, my wife was served her meal. I believe this is where things started to go wrong. There was a slight look of confusion from the person who dropped off my wife's order. A little more than five minutes later my food arrived. It was evident from the first bite that this was a panic quick fire order. The bread was supposed to be toasted but one had no brown marks and the other had a scant amount. Because of this the bread was bland, cold, and somewhat dry. As this was the foundation for everything on top, the whole dish was bland and disappointing. The poached egg was cooked perfectly but the hollandaise lacked any depth of flavor. The standout was the Bean-offee pie. A great take on a classic banoffee pie. This had the perfect balance of sweet to savory and was absolutely delicious. I'm sure that the namesakes of this restaurant would be disappointed that the kitchen rushed an order and sent out a dish that wasn't prepared properly. I would have gladly waited several minutes longer to get the dish I expected and paid for.
