Gave me a new date and 4-hour window to come out. 30 minutes into that service window, they cancelled, saying their technician will be out for several more days. Yet another road bump with this company. The burners that they said that they fixed in February stopped working in May. So last week I reached out and called the same person who came out the first time (who claimed that they were the owner), and they shot back a generic text said "can I call you later?" I detailed the fact that they had come out to my home in February, fixed the burners, which are now not working again. Then I followed up another time asking "how soon can you make the repair?" no response. He did not call me back Friday or over the weekend, today is Monday afternoon and still no call, so I picked up the phone and called again. When I spoke to him, he made all sorts of excuses why he couldn't call me back and or the fact that this is not really the number that he uses. (Funny because that is the number that we were communicating on throughout the Repair the last time.) He's also now hemming & hawing that he can't necessarily guarantee the work he did. So I asked, "so I have to have you come out every three months and repair the same burner?" The last time I had a brand new part shipped out directly from the manufacturer, and he said it was just installed incorrectly so he fixed it. But why is it broken again? And when I said, I've already waited three days and you didn't call back, now he's telling me I have to wait till Thursday till he comes out and looks at it. I told him I should not have to wait a full week for him to come look at a repair that should be warrantied... he made more excuses that he had to cancel a doctors appointment or something that has nothing to do with any of this. I, too, am very happy with this service. Rick came out on time and was completely familiar with our 20 year old Sub-Zero fridge. We were very concerned that it would be 'totalled', and then what? Dr. Rick listened carefully to our descriptions, did an analysis and turns out the excess water leaking was a very simple fix. (A crack in the drip pan caused water to leak on the floor. We captured the water. But it would not evaporate because it needs to be in the drip pan closer to the elements for air circulation and heat.) Rick repaired the tray for us and showed us what to do. He evaluated the door gasket which is often a problem. No problem there. (Thank you!) He oiled some parts of the fridge that were creaking excessively. So just a bit of simple maintenance. And checked our separate freezer, as well. He only charged a service call of $79 minus a Yelp bonus of $5. These days that is even less than getting your home warranty people to come out. And especially for a Sub-zero where they usually gouge you. I am tickled pink by Rick's service, honesty, and diagnosis!
