Cute kind of out if the way spot! Pet friendly so-bring your pooch if you wish! The staff is super nice and the bar food is good. So is their beer. Fun in door outdoor hang! Give it a try!

If you want a warm yet chill environment look no further than Wolf Tree Brewery. Took my girlfriend here Saturday for some brews and food. Right away at the counter we were greeted by a super friendly worker. The recommendations on the food and beer were perfect! The inside had lots of room to sit and they even had a fireplace going to keep us all warm inside. I can't wait to be back and play some corn hole when the weather is sunny. Will be back again & will recommend to others to try out!

Enjoying a rose cider! Wish they had gluten-free beer as the guy at the 101 clothing shop said they had some. They do not carry and G-F beer. Great WiFi

I think it's funny their website says they are open until 9 but refused service to people (like us) at 5:45pm.. on a Friday?!? Never will return... take out money elsewhere!!! Freaking ridiculous if you ask me... I have an idea.... How about you update the hours on the site ???

Warm location away from the water. Dog friendly, and a very welcoming pub with plenty of outdoor seating. My wife had the saisson and I had an Animal Cookies IPA (7.5%) from Block 15. Both were excellent. This place has a local, low-key vibe, and an open-air design. Yes, go to Rogue, but make time to come here.

Not the greatest beers... the location is a bit strange... but the service was friendly and knowledgeable. Hopefully the beer will improve.

Might be good but they do not allow minors which needs to be on the info for the place.

Great experience! Good beer! The ambiance is unique. Now have a new "go to" spot in Newport.

I review restaurants with my OAT method:…read more Overall experience - My husband and I were staying in Depoe Bay for our honeymoon and wanted to venture out from all the seafood we had. Appearance - We recommend sitting near the window and you'll get the view of the World's smallest harbor! If you're lucky, like us, maybe you'll get to see a baby sea lion. Taste - I'm a sucker for a delicious grilled cheese. I am quite picky about the cheese, bread, how crispy it is and what not. This one hit the spot! I specifically liked the seasoning (I believe it was parsley) they added to the bread. The tomato soup on the other hand was not my favorite, I tend to prefer more of a tomato bisque because it's creamier. Their's tasted more like vegetable soup. My husband ordered the chicken tender basket and they were nothing to write home about. They were very bready and for 4 pieces it was $17! That felt quite pricey considering it was from the kids menu... yes I know we are adults ordering off the kids menu, but we were just craving some homey meals when traveling on the road. Let me tell you about the popcorn shrimp though.... MMM I liked em! A lot! I'm used to having popcorn shrimp with the tiny, tiny shrimp but I enjoyed this switch up. It included a flavorful chili-lime aioli to dip in as well!

The menu stated they had been deemed the #1 chowder in the area, but I was chowdered out so I went with the southern fried chicken sandwhich which was topped with slaw, pickles and a sauce with fries on the side. When it arrived it was not as expected as it had the same batter as cod would for traditional fish n chips - not what i think of when i hear southern friend chicken, but when in rome. It was okay in itself but had entirely too much sauce. I included a Pic of the aftermath, and I promise you that is only what fell from it naturally, I didn't scrap or shake any of it off. But the chicken itself was hearty and cooked perfectly. The toasted bun was soft and paired nicely with it. The fries were okay. We opted for dessert to go, a marionberry crisp. This was very good and I recommend it.

I ordered the vegan pizza and salad, and both were seriously good -- fresh, flavorful, and actually satisfying. As a vegan, sometimes ordering out feels like negotiating with a menu, but Beachcrest delivered real options that didn't feel like an afterthought. The service was also super fast and genuinely friendly. Everyone was welcoming, the food came out quickly, and the whole place had an easygoing, good-energy vibe. The restaurant itself was really clean too, which always makes a difference. Honestly, if a place can make me excited about both salad and pizza while also getting me fed quickly and kindly, I'm probably becoming a regular.

We kind of ate around the center and avoided the wet parts . A lovely young woman walked by and asked how things were and I said the pizza is very wet ? She brought the new pizza to go and offered at that time to refund our money . I said no no no we have one to go , we are happy :) well I stopped by my moms to share some with her and wow!! I guess the cook was unhappy I complained . Talk about the definition of passive aggressive.. I can say it was NOT wet , it was burned I mean black . Tried posting a pic . Probably won't go back :( wonder if the girl knew that's why she was offering our money back .

As a self proclaimed clam chowder connoisseur I take the hunt for delicious clam chowder throughout…read morethe PNW coastal area very seriously. Each beach town my husband I travel to, I spend far too much time reading reviews about clam chowder. If only I spent as much energy in other areas of my life as I do "internet-researching" clam chowder, who knows what I could accomplish. I must say that the clam chowder at Werner Beef & Brew is exactly what I have been hunting for. It is the perfect texture and consistency. It has a spectacular balance of clam to potato ratio, and the potatoes are cooked to perfection. They don't have too much bite, nor do they disintegrate into mush the moment they enter your mouth. The chowder itself was worth traveling from Rockaway to Tillamook for. It was even worth a more industrial view vs. an establishment with a more coastal and picturesque backdrop. The salad bar was on point. The variety of salad add-ins, dressings, and topping crunchy-bits were epic. It was a nice balance to the very rich perfect chowder I am already missing. I miss it. I miss the chowder. My husband also got the fish tacos, based on others' reviews and enjoyed every bite. I enjoyed their Dragon Fruit Cider, and he ordered one of their Meaty Bloody Mary's. If you are on the fence if you should order one, you should. You should get that bloody mary. The bloody mary then led us to purchase some of their salami and bologna. It was an elevated version of the sandwich meat my grandpa used with white bread, yellow mustard (off-brand), ice burg lettuce, and a slice of cheddar cheese. Mid-life has me craving nostalgia. It might be the hormone imbalance, but salami white bread sandwiches, here I come.

With a storm blowing in we were craving some clam chowder. Homegrown did satisfy that craving! Unfortunately, service was a little slow because there was only one waiter. Luckily, we were in no rush. Appearance - The warm string lights created a nice, cozy vibe. (Maybe the rained helped too!) Overall, the food was plated well. Taste- Garlic Parmesan fries- mmm so delicious with a yummy aioli to dip them in! Would highly recommend! Caution if you're sensitive to garlic... be aware that the parmesan can easily be mistaken for garlic chunks! Steamers- My husband got this and said it was very fresh and he enjoyed the broth. I tried it but I'm not a huge wine person and to me the broth was very heavy wine flavored. Fried Fish Cod Sandwich- Unfortunately I learned on this outing that I don't really love cod. The fish on this sandwich was not very meaty.
