I had high expectations for this place given the reviews but they never answer the phone, didn't respond to my message, and didn't respond to my email. So I guess if you go in person, it's great? **I later received a message from the owner saying that he couldn't find me in the system. I replied by saying that I don't use my full name on Yelp due to creepers (and annoying business owners who can't accept that they had a bad review). I gave him my name and said thanks but I I found another place. He responded by saying he couldn't find me and if I couldn't prove it he would let everyone know I was being dishonest. Um WTF? How is that any way to run a business? Why would anyone bother coming on Yelp to lie? The only way to email them is via a form on their website. I don't have a sent email. I do have recent calls on my call log and I can check my browser history, but seriously that's his response? He finally arrived at 3:30, and instead of a quick apology, said "life's busy." I calmly said my life is busy too. He said, "So what? 20 minutes going to kill you?" Walked out. I used to go to another guy in Wburg for these things but it was freaking impossible to get ahold of that dude. So I found Pablo and so happy I did. After having 2 phone screens fixed by him, and an ipad repair I can unequivocally say that Pablo is the man. Initially I thought this was just Iphone repair but while I was waiting for my phone screen to be fixed (10 mins tops) I was talking to him about a mac issue I was having as well. He knew exactly what the problem was and gave me instructions how to fix it when I got home, no charge on his part. Super nice guy and Ive never had problems with his work. It should be noted that Pablo does house calls for residential and commercial computer jobs, which is super convenient, but also means you should call or text to make sure he's in the shop before you show up. Seems like some of these bad reviews don't understand that this is part of his service, so check first to make sure he's available. This is a service, not a clothing store, seems like common sense to me, but maybe not. Ive sent many friends his way, and have only heard good things. If I ever have another Mac issue I will take it here before waiting at the Apple store. Even if you think their screen repair service is cheaper, they hold your phone on average of 5 or more days. Wolfe repair club is amazing! They helped me to recover thousands of photos on my broken hard drive (and days of work) in just one day. My iMac hard drive was broken and after several failed attempts to start my computer I accidentally partitioned my hard drive and reinstalled the OS. I brought it to Apple Genius Bar to try to recover the data that was on my drive and they couldn't do better than just replacing the broken one. They advised me to go to techserve to recover my data and after 20 minutes of waiting, techserve told me they could try to recover my data for $1200+ and it will take two weeks or longer. I almost gave up until I found Wolfe on Yelp. Pablo and his brother recovered every photo I need in one day and only charged me $299! Don't get fooled by their small shop set up. These guys are awesome! I'll definitely recommend them to any one who has the similar data recovery problem! They even replaced my hard drive for me by the time I pick up my computer the next day. I'm typing this review from a Samsung laptop freshly part-replaced and repaired by Wolfe Repair Club. I walked in off the street looking for screws and Pablo told me right away that what I needed was to buy a new keyboard top case from eBay. Only then did I ask him if he'd replace it for me, and he said he would for a nifty $50. When it turned out that it was also a repair job (not a simple replacement), I offered to pay for the repair, and Pablo tacked on a bargain of only $25 (I gave him extra, of course). He's interested in doing a good job, and if you see something that still isn't quite right, be sure to tell him, and he'll be sure to fix it for you. If you're coming from far away, just be sure to call in beforehand in case he's out getting lunch or something. Otherwise, he's a friendly guy and cares about leaving you happy. I use my phone for work so I need it fixed ASAP. Not only did he fix my phone and the price was reasonable but I have recently brought my broken iPad to him as well. Since then Pablo has helped me with updating my security System in my store by adding new cameras and setting things up on Wi-Fi. I cracked my screen on my iPhone 5 and simultaneously managed to make it unusable on a Friday evening, and was obviously upset. I emailed Pablo the next morning, panicked, and he got back to me immediately, letting me know that I could come in at his shop and he would help me, which I greatly appreciated. Come noon when they opened, Pablo was ready to help. Within 15 minutes he was able to fix my phone and it is now working PERFECTLY. Pablo is seriously the man. Brought my iPhone here to get a cracked screen fixed- I was in and out within 20 minutes with a brand new screen. The two guys working were kind and professional. Whelp I guess I was wrong. They switched out my glass and then broke my audio component so I can't hear out of my phone. Texted them to come in and fix the phone. Show up at the arranged time and he isn't there. Now he's not picking up my phone calls or texts. EDIT 4/28/15 - the guy had a family emergency and apologized for reneging on our prearranged time. I went to the Wolfe Repair Club after reading all of the positive Yelp reviews. My issue started out simple, my screen was damaged and needed to be replaced (giant blots of light in the center of the screen). (This was a 2012 Macbook Pro 15"). They charged me $250 for the entire task, but after many unsuccessful attempts, they found that there was a problem with the fuses on my logic board. It was great they didn't charge me to fix that issue, and fixing that resolved the screen issue. Their service may not have been the fastest, but it was dealt with in a very professional and courteous manner, and there's a good chance I'd be paying higher elsewhere. I would recommend this place if your devices need some repair. read more
